Please do not take your dog to this facility under any circumstances…read more My dog was injured twice in just three weeks while in their care--both times severely enough that he needed sedation, stitches, antibiotics, and pain medication. When we first started using this daycare, I noticed frequent billing errors and miscommunication, but I tried to be patient. Then things became more concerning. Three weeks ago, I boarded my dog while I was out of town. Within hours, I got a call saying he had been injured by another dog and had to be rushed to my vet for stitches. That alone had me seriously considering canceling his membership. But I decided to let him finish out the final week we had already paid for. On the very first day back, just hours after dropping him off, they called me again: he was injured--again. This time, they tried to blame him, saying he "escaped from his crate." Their stories kept changing, and I never got a consistent or honest explanation. Even the district manager admitted she didn't believe the injury was caused by the crate. When I spoke with the owner, it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. He was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional--yelling over me, refusing to let me speak, and at one point told me, as I was crying over the phone, that he wouldn't "sit on the phone and listen to me cry" and that I needed to "pull myself together." I've never been treated with such disrespect and coldness. Since sharing my experience online, multiple people have come forward saying similar things happened to their dogs at this same facility. I trusted them with my dog's safety and well-being, and they failed him twice. Please don't make the same mistake. In response to Dogtopia and their comment, you only covered his stay because I demanded it. You also are responsible for his care so taking him to the vet because of his injuries caused by another dog is not going above and beyond. We were out of town so would you just leave him to suffer in his cage? You also state that his second injury is from escaping from his cage but if his cage was latched properly that would have never happened. I would also like to add that the vet said both injuries resembled each other they were just in different locations. This is not from trying to get out of the cage which your district manager Amanda agreed!

I found Tandem Canineslast year while in a local German Shepherd Facebook group. I was looking for…read moreideas of good local trainers that were willing to train my German Shepherd that I adopted through a FB post that was from her 2nd owner. Yes I was her 3rd but final furever home which is probably why she had severe separation anxiety, timid toward men, and leash reactivity. I saw someone recommend them and then the owner Jessica replied as well and we started training a few weeks later. Prior to training I never would have thought I'd be able to take her around other dogs but now she's a gem. Jessica was able to teach me more about the different German Shepherd working lines which was a crucial part for me to understand why previous methods failed. Now my Sammi is more focused on we with walks, can be around other dogs with out reacting when she's on leash and behaves better at home. The best part is her spirit us not broken which I was worried about. She still runs around with her weird German Shepherd antics but now she listens. Currently we are still with them for our next training journey -- mobilty support/medical alert service dog training. I can't thank Tandem Canines enough for thier help and not just with training Sammi but me too. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs help with thier fur babies.

Long time, mutli-year, customer with my 35 poundish Retriever mix. They always did a decent job,…read moreshe always got great reports (she is a really good girl), nails could've been better but overall a decent enough job that I continued to support a local business. Today I set up an appt for her and dealt with a rather rude lady on the phone, I was told abruptly that her rabies was out of date and asked if I could provide an updated shot record; which is not an issue. Upon arriving to the appt and providing the requested paperwork, I was told very rudely that she had other required vaccinations and she wouldn't be allowed in. I explained we had been coming here for years, she has all her required vaccines (with printed proof on hand), and I brought everything they asked for just 2 hours earlier; yet we were talked down to and made to feel like we had offended them somehow. It was very disrespectful, unprofessional, and lost a repeat customer that had a well behaved dog and always tipped the groomers. I recommend replacing the woman working the front desk at 11:45 on Monday, Feb 9, 2026, along with anyone else that treats customers the way she does, unless you are trying to get your customers to support your competitors. Good bye and thanks for the years of decent service.
