Okay. The technician fixed the Goodman system and the AC is working. It is definitely not cheap…read more The total cost before discount (10%) is over $1500. I had to find the discount on their website separately because they do not offer to me automatically. I am not happy with the communication and the thermostat replaced. It is a rental property. Unlike other companies I used, I never received a call 30-60 mins before the technician arrived. So I was not sure if he showed up or not. Whenever I called the company, I was talking to the teams handling customer service, not the technician directly. So there is always a middle man between the tech and me to translate information. The diagnosis was on Wednesday. I approved the quote right away after I received it. The repair was the next Thursday 8 days later. The appointment was initially scheduled for the morning between 9-12. I then got a call to say he could not make it on time and would be there around 1pm. I got a tenant message to say he still did not show up at 2:30PM without any call to inform he would be further late. What I am most disappointed is the new thermostat installed during this repair! He replaced my old programmable thermostat with a new FocusPro N100 Non-Programmable Thermostat 1H/1C. When every household is switching to a smart thermostat, he installed an ancient manual controlled thermostat! I would appreciate he could give me some option to select different types of thermostat. I would have no problem to pay for something better or even buy a smart thermostat myself. I called the company to complain about it. All I got was it is fully functional and it is more modern than my old programmable thermostat! I could not be more disappointed about this. Despite they fixed my AC, I do not feel comfortable to use this company again and to recommend it to anyone else if this is not addressed.

Last week, my two year old LG gas dryer stopped working. LG quoted me a flat rate of $345 to come…read moreto the house. I decided to look for an independent repair person. I contacted Home Pro and got a very quick response from David. Within 30 minutes of his arrival, David had diagnosed the problem as a faulty door switch. Unfortunately, the part had to be ordered but within 48 hours, the part arrived and David was back at my home to complete the repair - with a savings of more than $125 off the LG offer. David is professional and very respectful of my home. The first thing he did when he arrived was to put on "hospital booties" to protect my rugs. That attention to detail plus his ability to diagnose / repair in a timely manner is reason enough to recommend Home Pro. Kathy

My LG washer didn't drain anymore. Living in Newton, I called Home Pro Appliance on a Sunday, and…read morethe repair person came within an hour and a half exactly when expected. He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

A great way to save some cash when you have an emergency appliance failure. All it needed was to have a part swapped out. The only delay was the part need to be ordered. Other than that they quickly got it installed. I would highly recommend them.

This company is unethical and unprofessional. They "tried" to fix a leak on my Electrolux washer…read more First time the tech thought he fixed it without even running the unit afterwards. Still leaked. Owner said I needed to replace a door seal and wanted $85 for the part and an additional $100 for the labor. I did the replacement myself and still did not fix the leak. Sent the tech back again but still couldn't find the leak. Then the owner sent two techs who worked on the unit for an hour and a half and still could not find the source of the leak. They reinstalled the door boot suspecting I installed it incorrectly but the leak continued. I reached out to Al the owner and he said he would refund my money if I took down my original negative complaint. I did so. I waited three weeks but no check. He ghosted me and will not return my emails and phone calls. I'll send this to the BBB and add this to the posts on other social media platforms. I'm attaching the original complaint email that shows Al offered to refund me but never followed through. His responses highlighted in orange. Be careful using HUB as there are other complaints about Al not being an ethical businessman. Obviously they do not guarantee their work. Original complaint to Al Bushman he asked me to delete: Al it has now been three weeks since I first contacted HUB to repair a leak on our Electrolux front load washing machine. I've now had three service calls and there has been no resolution. The leak is exactly the same as it was when I first contacted HUB. The machine is six years old and has never had a leak until five weeks ago. At your personal suggestion, I ordered and replaced the door boot, which was a waste of my money, time and labor. The leak persisted. At least I did not hire HUB to do the replacement at $100 for labor and $90 for parts. The last service called involving the two technicians. They found that the door boot has nothing to do with the leak and was installed properly. I even rotated the door glass and flipped the hinge to the other side with no change. The techs spent about an hour and came up with no real resolution besides tipping the machine backwards a few degrees to see if the water would not flow down the interior front of the machine. That attempt has done absolutely nothing. I have removed my five star review on Google that I posted that after your tech left being confident the leak was repaired on the very first service call. I will also edit the post on Facebook which is where I found Hub in the first place. I will revise both reviews. I would like a full refund for the $229 for the first service call where nothing ended up being repaired as well as a refund for the $63.75 door boot I had to buy and install for no reason. At this point I just want to reach out to another company and get this machine repaired correctly.
