I have had a storm drain that has been clogged for a couple of years. I had a different company come out a week ago and the person said that he was going to have to chip away at the cement and there was a 50/50 chance that he could fix the problem. Jordan, our project lead plumber, walked us through every step of the project and was very knowledgeable and professional. I don't know where to start. I had every homeowner's nightmare come true when my main sewer line needed to be replaced. A plumber suggester Drain Pro's, and I was so desperate in the moment that I called them up and had them come out to try to provide a quote and scope the sewer. 400 dollars later, I had a bill and still no bathroom working. I waited for the estimate to come back and it neared around 25k. Thankfully, I was connected to Dan with All City through some wonderful people, and on a Friday, he was out at the end of his day to try to get my line clear at least for a temporary fix until we came up with a plan. He snaked the line, he got on the roof, he crawled under the house, and he didn't charge me a penny for it. We found out the problem and he gave me a rough number and I sighed. He said, "I know, it's a lot of money." I sighed because it was a fraction of the cost for two of the other quotes I received. He moved some stuff around and I had a crew there on Monday. To say All City was great to work with would be an understatement. They care about their customers, and they treat them as if they were family. Peggy and Dan, thank you again. The previous owner had work done two years ago, and it turns out that plumber didn't connect the side sewer from the kitchen to the main line so it'd just been emptying into the yard until it backed up enough it was overflowing out of a cleanout right outside the house every time I used the kitchen sink. Dan, one of the owners, assessed that was the likely problem and gave me a very reasonable estimate. I like to give potential cons for company. As far as I understand, All City doesn't have a website you can interact with the company through, which is often enough to stop introverts like me from contacting a company, but they were recommended to me so I sucked it up and called. The three employees I interacted with at my house were informative and friendly. They managed to do minimal damage when digging up my yard and left it looking almost as good as new, and even took the time to wash off my garden furniture that had gotten dirty during the process. They didn't make me feel silly when I asked to take photos before they covered it up so I'd have an exact idea where the new pipe was. I think my job took longer than was expected at the price point, but when the plumbers were done ready to fill it back in, they sent Dan photos of the work, and he told them to add a cleanout to that area before doing so. A lot of companies may have skipped that since I have three other cleanouts and one isn't too far from the work, but I was extremely pleased with Dan deciding that could be a problematic area that could use a cleanout over getting it done ASAP so it was more profitable. I'll always recommend getting several estimates, but I will say I had multiple bids for 1k an hour for digging a 5 foot trench and connecting to the main line with 4" PVC pipes/parts. I'm pretty certain those excessive estimates occurred because I'm a single woman. My stepfather was a plumber, I've owned several homes in my life, and I'm generally handy/competent and not naive about what a job entails. It was very refreshing to work with a company who treated me fairly, EVEN after I mentioned an extremely high bid I'd received to Dan. The previous owner (who still works for the company) was out and explained to me how it all works, how long it will last (forever!), and was just so friendly. The office staff - Lyn, Peggy, and Roxanne - are also super nice and pleasant to communicate with. This is an honest company that won't price gouge you just because other companies are. We paid half of what we would have paid to two other companies we got estimates from. My next-door neighbour had a sewage line problem and they were recommended All City, so they passed on the info when I needed an inspection. Good fast and friendly service is what I got. Some friends a few streets away had a blocked line a few months later, and three of us in the are all made the same recommendation - well justified. Finally, for a (simple, it turned out) toilet call. Equally good service in the middle of holiday season - fix and also recommendation for improvement with reasons and explanation. We had a sewer line problem at a commercial store that we own. Dan replaced the line after scoping it, but it didn't completely solve the problem. Two or three more blockages occurred after the repair and All City was super responsive to the problem and ended up replacing another section of the line. There was never an additional charge for those additional trips out or for replacing more of the line. Even though the initial repair didn't fix the problem, they were never hesitant to make sure that the problem got fixed. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! Used to be my go to plumber, been stood up twice by them now for simple plumbing work. Gals on the phone are nice, but no guarantee anyone is going to show up or even call to say they aren't coming. On call plumbers for emergencies will dodge and put you off to the next guy who never seems to get the message. Better off using youtube and a wrench. read more

This is the example of how to run a business. I recently moved into a home and the inspection show issues with the drainage system. The realtor negotiated for the sellers to pay for the repair but the work was to be completed after the escrow was closed. I was not involved with the bid or contract with All City, I chose them based on my realtors recommendation. The issue was two fold, the existing pipe had settled causing water to backup in the pipe and there was a ton of roots and root damage to the pipe. So the contract was to install a liner in the existing pipe to fix the damage and make it so the roots couldn't do anymore damage. The crew started work and was extremely professional and hard working. They ended up spending almost 3 days working on our house to make sure everything was done perfectly. On the last day the owner, Dan, come by to address some concerns about the grade for the drains caused by the ground settling they decided to replace more of the pipe to make sure the issue was resolved. In the end I felt they listened to and resolved all my concerns and have gained customs for life. read more

I was very satisfied with the work that All City Construction completed on my new house! The whole process with All City was seamless and every employee that I dealt with was professional, very kind, and patient. We purchased our house knowing that it needed a new sewer line installed. After we had our sewer scope during our inspection we found that the pipes were original clay from 1910. I had the video of the scope in hand during our month long closing process and was attempting to budget to see how much this would be. I called 8 different companies and none would even consider looking at the video as the house was not in our possession. I called All City at the recommendation of my realtor and GLAD that I did. Dan watched the video, diagnosed that we needed a new line, provided a very reasonable quote withing 1.5 business days allowing us to budget and schedule the work quickly. They scheduled the job within 1 week of our closing, came out on time, were EXTREMELY professional, and had the work done in 6 hours allowing us to use our plumbing that day! They completed a new CIPP sewer line, had it inspected with the city, removed the concrete clean out and put in a new PVC clean out with a cap. The work they did was so clean and they left the area very clean and placed all my brick work back. The payment process was easy and Peggy, Roxanne, Lyn, and all the staff at All City were all very helpful and kind. Literally everyone is so nice and helpful - from Lynn, Peggy, Roxanne in the office to all of the guys who have come out for various jobs, and Dan is phenomenal. I needed a sewer line replaced in connection with some renovations. I called All City, and they made an appointment to look at my problem. They were on time for the appointment, looked over the situation, and gave me great advice as to how to deal with it. They gave me a quote shortly thereafter, and I ended up using them for the job. They dug out a sewer line and replaced it using the pipe burst method. They ran into a snag in the line, but stayed on the job until it was done. Dan and his crew just finished putting in a tricky side sewer line in a 100 year old rental house. Since the neighbor refused to allow us to go through his yard, this crew had to think outside of the box. Wow, did they ever! They came up with a great plan and finished the project without distributing landscaping and had the job done in one day! The cost was more than competitive as the other "Guys" wanted to charge big bucks and in the process would have torn up the landscaping, sidewalk, and street. Jeff and team did A+ work To fix our sewer and drain issues. They gave me an honest assessment of the issue and were reasonable on the service fee. The issue was likely caused by another firm, and that started by giving me a bid MANY times higher that All City's bid. I do not recommend All City. We purchased a home in Oct, the sellers used All City to replace orangeburg side sewer pipe per our request as part of the purchase. When we moved in, All City forgot to turn back on the water (had to wait 2 days because they were too busy), they left our front yard a disaster with torn up shrubs everywhere (estimate said they were to remove them completely), tools and gloves all over, and a huge pile of dirt in the middle. After waiting a couple months I ended up leveling our front yard by myself, threw away the tools and gloves, threw away the dead shrubs, and reseeded the front yard (in Feb/March). The estimate included clean up/leveling yard/and reseeding but they failed to do that. We didn't complain to All City about these things, however; fast forward to June, we realized our sprinkler system wasn't working correctly and the two valve boxes, along with the hole All City placed for the side sewer were flooding. We called several times to All City and reached out to our real estate agent. All City refused to even come out to see what we were talking about claiming they are not responsible and do not provide coverage because it is a sprinkler system.. We clearly told them that even the hole where they placed the new side sewer pipe was flooding but the lady just said "I'm sorry but the owner said there's nothing we can do and it's not our responsibility." My agent suggested we contact a sprinkler company to diagnose the problem, and sure enough, they confirmed that due to the side sewer construction, the wires and lines were cut causing debris to get into the lines. The worst part of this is All City FAILED to tell us they cut any lines, instead they covered up all the pipes and jerry-rigged the lines to make it appear it was all good. Of course, we wouldn't be using our system in Oct when we moved in and couldn't test it during the winter so they thought they could get away with it. Very dishonest company and horrible customer service. I've advised our agent to NOT refer them to any clients as this has been the worst part of purchasing our home. They should be ashamed of the poor quality of work and service. read more

We ended up getting his brother John, who was able to show up to fix our issue within 3 hours of us calling for help (on a Monday morning!)!
