Since our new apartment's leasing office/building doesn't open until 10 am on Saturdays and we hadn't picked up the keys yet, I chose the 9-10 am arrival window. However, it seems that our two movers, Alan and Junior, were told to arrive as soon as possible, because they came at 8:08 am. Although I expected we would finish a little bit sooner than 3 hours (but were prepared to pay for the 3-hour minimum), I thought it possible an extra hour past that would be burnt up since they had to wait around to unload. But they were much more efficient than I could have imagined while still handling our items with care! Our 9 boxes (all packed already), 3 pieces of big furniture, and a few smaller pieces of furniture like mini drawers and chair were loaded into the truck in only 30 minutes. So even though they had to wait around for an extra hour, they finished unloading everything into our new apartment at 10:50 AM and we paid for 3 hours. It came out to about $440 total with the cash discount, extra mattress bag of $10, and drive time of 15 minutes calculated into the cost as double drive time. Some furniture like my 5-foot long wood desk, the mattress, and box spring were shrink-wrapped (and/or covered in blankets), but some smaller items like my piano bench and mini exercise bike were not. But everything was in perfect condition after unloading. They also have this gigantic box on a dolly used for miscellaneous items (like trash bins). All in all, we had a great experience despite the initial time mishap and would hire them if we move again! read more

Moved a three-bedroom from California to Utah. Required moving expensive/designer pieces, including a large marble dining table and speakers. The most impressive part was that they built a custom, padded crate to hold the dining table top, which made it without any damage. They also adequately protected the speakers and other furniture including leather and wood pieces. Packing and unpacking was efficient. All of our items made it without damage. There was only some minor damage to a closet as they moved us in. Not a big deal. Truck went directly from the pickup point to the drop-off point in a couple days; they beat me to the drop-off point, actually. We did not have to share the truck with other moves. We booked them 1 day before and they showed up right on time. Richard and his buddy Pete were fabulous movers. We did the pre-work of dismantaling the furniture and filling up cartons with kitchen stuff and sealing them. They came in and got a big super box which fitted all of our 15 small cartons in one go. They brought their own trolleys, dolly, wrapping tapes, blankets for furniture wrapping and we moved from one place to another in 3.5 hours :) (They were both 1 bed room houses 10 mins driving distancd apart). We loved the service with a smile. Overall pleasant and easy going people so it was a good experience. Whenever we move houses, they will be our first choice. All-In moving systems offer exclusive out-of-state move, unlike other long distance movers. We were a bit hesitant initially because the cost for out-of-state exclusive move is a lot more than non-exclusive moves. But we are so happy with our decision now! Arthur came for an initial inspection and provided a very accurate estimate of the space our stuff would occupy. Mary was our point-of-contact for all move related questions, and she was very prompt and helpful. She gave us a bunch of tips and ideas for our packing. On the day of the move, the crew called before coming, and arrived in the time frame specified. They were very professional, and even helped pack some things which we missed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are crooks. They quoted 550.00 to move a small 1 bedroom hardly any furniture . They take it to their supposedly temperature controlled warehouse. Then they charged me an additional $75 per vault which they said I needed to so $150 and then charged me a prorated rate until the end of the month from the 24th of $60 total cost $810 to move from Fremont to San Jose. On the first of the month they went in and took out another $150 for the next months rent without prior approval. Then we had a mishap happen when we moved to the location we were going to within three weeks. I contacted All In Moving, to let them know that we were moving to red Bluff. They charged me a flat rate of $1500 they never credited back the balance of the month but yet they charged me for the balance of the month three weeks prior. Now we have been in our new place for a week. We spent the first four days on an air bed on the floor. After our furniture arrived all of a sudden I had so many bites all over my body we bombed we treated the outside we did everything until I called the pest control company. turns out we have bedbugs the only place that we could've gotten them is from this lovely moving company. Now, after getting everything put away and finally getting unpacked we now have to take everything out launder every single thing from rugs to draperies drawers everything and of course I am not getting a callback from them and it is going to cost me six $1800 to have the pest company come in and get rid of these bedbugs that we got from All In Moving. read more

They really want you to relax as much as possible while they manage all of it. They'll offer options to package awkward or fragile items. We had a huge dining room table - solid wood and extremely heavy - 'Home Depot' and Dennis navigated the stairs and I watched them work extremely hard to get it up to our new place. I wanted to reply to their comments. First of all when I was given I told Bob the estimate seemed high since I was moving the boxes myself. Also, I have moved before with other companies and the movers are usually much faster. He told me it was just an estimate. But it seems that the move went slower - not sure why. They did wrap items well but that was a slow process. On the tile breaking no one told me about at 10 a.m. in the morning. If they did I would not brought up with the person who called on Monday (not five days later) to ask how my move went. I told him about the tile and I sent him a picture. The tile was fixed the following Sunday. I am not sure why it took him a week to tell me the damage was already there according to the "Notes". He should have got back to me right away. As I mentioned I did do a walk through with my contractor right before I moved to look at the whole house to see what work needed to be done and that broken tile did not come up. read more

Since we had the unfortunate luck of having a rainy (and cold) moving day, they were even ready for that, too. Right from quote to reservation to day of move they were responsive and straightforward to work with. Mary helped me with reservations and she was patient, honest and diligent. Mama always told me if a deal looks too good to be true it probably is. I should of listened to mama. Expected these guys to show up with logo truck and tshirts just like on the website. Disappointed to see unmarked truck, with unprofessional looking workers. I couldve got that from craigslist. I wanted to cancel the job when I saw them, but I had to move so I was stuck with them. This company is very responsive and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The phone staff answered all my questions and needs in and very professional manner. I really like the experience and reminders they sent. The movers arrived on-time and were very nice, helpful and worked very hard on our move while still being kind and friendly throughout the day. The only negative part of this experience was that we were told verbally that our 1 Bedroom move would take about 4 hrs (official paper estimate was for 6 hrs) and instead it took 8 hrs so we had to pay double what we were expecting which was a lot more then we budgeted. This was NOT in any way the movers fault as we were send only 2 guys and both of them worked very hard and effectively. We had everything boxed and ready to go with only a few lose odd shaped items so I believe that the issue was with not sending enough guys out for our move and under estimating the time it should take. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!! Response to Irina N: HOW DARE YOU try to deflect and smear the reviewer. I am using a nickname for privacy but there is NO mistake on who I am reviewing! This company's people conveniently don't have any last names (Irina N, Stanley G, Arthur N)... all very secretive to help them ghost customer complaints. Phone calls to the 888 number or the 650 numbers all go to voicemail. Only new customers get a response. Unhappy customers are avoided. The "info@" email address you speak of is another convenient catch-all and a BLACK HOLE for complainants. I have already tried that avenue, as well as numerous phone calls. When I texted you requesting help, you bluntly told me you don't handle billing issues (HOW CONVENIENT!) and forwarded my text to a mystery person in accounting, who then gave me the BIG RUNAROUND. You are supposed to be the business owner main contact, so SHAME ON YOU for skirting your accountability! I needed to move from a 4-bedroom house to a 2-bedroom house 25 miles away with just a few days notice and these guys really came through for me with flying colors. I was in a bind and needed to move on 10 days notice. Add to that that my new home wouldn't be available for 2 weeks after that. I called All In Moving Systems and they were available to move us out and offer short-term storage as well. One of the movers was moving rather slow, and when I called in after the move they quickly offered to reduce the rate a bit, which was greatly appreciated. The move-in 2 weeks later went smoothly with no damage to our possessions during the time in storage or the move. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was told the $65/unit "Handling Fee" for the storage units included the time to move my things both in AND out of the unit, but I ended up being billed for the time to move items from storage into the truck.
