My wife saw someone recommend this place, thus we decided to give it a try. The Samosas (not pictured) were perfectly warm and fluffy, a wonderful start to the meal. The Tandoori Wings (the best dish out of the ones we tried today in my opinion) were ultra juicy and flavorful! Have ordered from this restaurant twice via food delivery app, and both times the food has been bland and mediocre. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the sag paneer with some naan and rice. The chicken was really dry and the tikka masala was super bland. I can't really eat spicy foods and usually expect Indian food to be at least moderately spicy but this was like baby food bland. The sag paneer was equally bland and had a vaguely slimy texture that was unbecoming of food. The vegetable samosas were hot, which was nice, and the green sauce it came with was good, but there was way too much potato and it was inedibly bland without the green sauce. We keep ordering because we find it on the app and it looks good and there's not a lot of Indian food nearby and it seems well-rated, but then we receive it and are reminded of why we don't make it a regular thing. If you're craving quick Indian food, it'd be better to go to Trader Joe's for their ready-made frozen Indian meals than this. read more

It was $35 for appetizer, side salad, main course, veggie of choice, naan bread, dessert and a drink (beer, wine, or soda) I ordered a samosa for appetizer, lamb masala for main course, Nirvana tofu, and kheer for dessert. The food was really good and had good sized portions. The lamb masala and Nirvana tofu are a definite must to try from here. The kheer reminded me a lot of the Hispanic dessert arroz con leche. So if you like arroz con leche, you will like kheer! The decor of the place was pretty and the food came out quickly. Overall , pretty good. I ordered malia kofta, vegetable pakora , and vegetable biryani. First, the vegetable pakora was very light and airy. Normally, pakora is a bit more oily with a heavy batter. It was ok, not my favorite but if your looking for a quick snack , def worth a taste. The vegetable biryani was definitely the highlight dish of the night. I enjoyed the flavor and taste. I have eaten here twice now with my husband. It's our absolute favorite! My husband rarely wanted to get Indian food till we found this place. We have lived in the area since March and we order them on Post-mates all the time. However the in house dining experience will blow your mind. The food and drinks are delicious. Everything is Authentic. Everything is the best of quality event the soup. We ordered it when we were sick last month. Highly recommend the Beer and the Indian iced tea. We would come here for the Masala fries and wings alone honestly. I love this place. This is my favorite Indian food restaurant in glendale. Every dish is a hit. My top thing to get are the lamb vindaloo, butter chicken and baingan bharta, along with mango Lassi. Seriously the nicest family owns this place, and the food is the most authentic Indian food of my personal taste that I've had in a very long time. One unique and cool thing I enjoyed was their gluten free assurance in pretty much all of their dishes, as well as some gluten free fried things - done right - in a separate fryer! So this review is long overdue. My husband and I had the best experience at All India cafe last week and honestly each time we go is better than the last. I don't know how they do it! My husband's favorite food in the world is Indian, but since going vegan our options were extremely limited. Fortunately I found All India cafe on IG and discovered that although they are not vegetarian, they do have tons of vegetarian and even vegan options. The vibe is really cute inside, and everyone is really nice and extremely welcoming. They play Bollywood movies and it's just a really fun vibe. You'll definitely feel at home. I want to give a special shoutout to Deep who not only helped me sneak my husband's birthday cake in, but also gathered the rest of the staff to come over and sing happy birthday to him. It's been a long time since I've eaten Indian food, I have always liked their flavors and spice and this place did not lack those. My favorite out of all the savory dishes we ordered is the Lamb curry. I liked their Mango Lassi (not pictured) as well; it's my first time trying it and its taste is close to the mango shakes I had in the Philippines, so my husband and I really loved it. Came across this hidden Gem in Glendale. The only reason I say hidden gem is because I didn't know this place existed until tonight. I wish I would have gotten our servers names so that I can name them so that I could name them one by one one by one, but they were all fantastic. very attentive and quick. The ambience is simply beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. I have never had an Indian hot chai before and my wife has never had an Indian iced tea with sweetened condensed milk. Tonight was Meatless Monday, and the girlfriend and I were looking for a vegetarian restaurant to enjoy the evening. This was the second result on our search, and on a whim we decided to give it a try. We were blown away. The service was fantastic. Extremely nice, abiding to safety protocols in a COVID-19 world, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions from the wine to the entree, none of which disappointed. The appetizer, Samosas, were cooked perfectly (we even had to say to the waitress it was perfect, no hesitation) as was our entree, the Vegetable Combo for 2, where we got the Nirvana Tofu, the Saag Paneer, and the Malai Kofta. To top it all off was the Gulab Jaamun, a satisfyingly sweet ending to an excellent dinner. Throughout the experience our water was refilled regularly, our food was delivered promptly and tasted freshly cooked, and our table positioned just outside the restaurant gave us great seating on Brand. To sum up the eating experience in a (relatively) funny sentence: "I regret I have but one stomach to give." I cannot recommend this place enough. We are going back to try non-vegetarian options on a day other than Meatless Monday, and I've no doubt we'll have an equally fantastic experience then too. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can immediately smell all the spices that they use in the food. We got seated and the utensils and glasses were so stained and dirty that we had to request for plastic. Our server was just ok as well. No smiles or anything just took our order and that's pretty much it. We got the butter chicken and the chicken biryani. The meat itself was good but all the sides were untouchable in my opinion. Since they are offering outdoor dining and wife liked it last time she was here with her friends. We decided to drive here so I get a chance to try it, as well!. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Nirvana Chicken, Lamb Sheesh Kebab, Garlic Naans and Tandoori Rotis. The food and Curry portion was less than compared to other Indian restaurants I have been to. Easily the most authentic Indian food Ive ever had (and Indian is one of my favs)! We did the non veggie combo for two and it was the best decision and bang for your buck. The whole meal, with drinks, was $112 ($60 without drinks). Starting with the samosas, they were HUGE and they did not skimp on the filling; the chicken tikki masala was mouthwatering chicken and actually super tender (many places overcook it) while the spices were on point; the saag paneer was perfectly cooked and not too watery (the spinach wasnt overcooked/over-stewed); the eggplant bharta wasnt colored with food dye or over mashed; The chicken tandoori came out hot and juicy! You can sub for brown rice (+$1) and garlic naan (+$2) which I highly recommend! Last was dessert which was basically rose syrup donuts. Their drinks are sweet, so just prepare yourself if you're not a huge fan of sweets. Our waitress Sonia was 10/10 and so patient with us! She, and everyone else, made us feel so welcomed and checked in multiple times to ensure everything was okay. The ambiance is basically sitting in India; from the Bollywood on the TV to the floor seating lounge, I love it all. We were so happy we came back the next day for lunch to add to our leftovers. Well, it's the pandemic and we were all excited for some great Indian food. I noticed there were several low Yelp ratings, but ignored them because I have good memories of the All India Cafe in Pasadena. Their website is a little wonky, but we were able to order in advance which is a plus. The food was not quite ready on time, but that was okay. The chicken tikka was a big disappointment - I make better tandoori chicken on my grill. The vindaloo was so-so, dal was fine, garlic naan was good. Will keep looking out for something better. I've been to All India Cafe three times now - all during COVID-19. Once for lunch and twice for dinner time al fresco dining. I've concluded that I don't find the food to be the tastiest. Not terrible, but also not the typically flavorful Indian cuisine I was expecting. And the dinner portions are not so huge as some people have posted, in my opinion. The curry we had on one visit didn't come with rice, which I found a little weird. The new al fresco dining is perfect, and the service is pleasant enough. There is a decent amount of space between tables, as the seating area has been extended into the street (with City of Glendale concrete barriers.) The food is presented very well, but I haven't felt totally satisfied yet. The vegetable pakora is very tasty, as is the garden salad. Everything else I've had just falls short for me. read more

I love Indian Cuisine and I've visited several restaurants in the area, but this was my first time here. Because if COVID-19, I made an order to-go; however the staff was always super friendly and attentive - even after I ordered. By the way, the food came out really fast! (there was not a lot of people at lunch, but still) So, let's talk about the food. I ordered the "Chicken Tikka" lunch special. I have to say, this was one of the most delicious Chicken Tikka I've had in LA (attention: not Tikka Masala, just Tikka). It comes with very abundant and flavorful Basmati Rice, that also expelled a beautiful aroma as soon as I opened the box. The Aloo Mutter was delicious, as well as the Dal of the Day (lentil curry). Even tho the salad was small it tasted fresh and it was properly seasoned. Oh, and the naan was on point! To finalize, the drink: I had an Iced Indian Tea... and they served the tea with the milk on the side, so you can pour to your own taste. Isn't that great? I don't like sugary teas, and this option was perfect for me. 1 main dish + 4 sides + 1 drink for $15? That tasted that good? I can't think of anything better than that.
