the food here is delicious! i came in on a sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. we were seated quick and got right to ordering the manchurian chicken as an appetizer. it was delicious and had a mild citrusy flavor topped with parsley. i had the chicken korma which was great and the garlic naan was fresh. price is reasonable, given the amount of food given, there was plenty to take home. overall i'd give it a 4/5, only because service was a little slow. despite the restaurant maybe having 8 people max at the time, we were left alone for quite a while near the end. would recommend!

This is some of the best Indian food I've had! They were also so accommodating to my but allergy. Staff was so friendly!! They have such a great deal where you get an appetizer, naan, a vegetable curry, chicken or lamb curry, tandoori chicken, and dessert for such a great price!! I literally loved everything I ate. The food was fresh and hot and tasty. I HIGHLY recommend you come here and eat good!

    Mango lassi

Traditional Indian restaurant in the heart of Burbank that offered excellent service and well seasoned food. 1. Parking - plenty of street parking and also spots in parking structures 2. Food - garlic naan and their chicken tandoori are highly recommended. A friend who brought us here was in practically first name basis with the servers and she said she has been coming here for over 10 years and everything was good...and she is correct. I always have the mango lassi for it is the perfect complement to an Indian meal. 3. Excellent customer service

India's Tandoori was a decent a la carte Indian place right in Burbank downtown. I ordered a mango lassi, the chicken makhani, garlic basil naan, and mango kulfi. The ambiance of India's tandoori was nice as there was lots of seating and cool Indian decor with an authentic vibe. The service was also nice as the food came out fast and servers were very attentive even when there were more customers. Starting with the mango lassi, it was pretty good it didn't taste very fresh but it had good flavor and was not great but not bad. It was still refreshing though. The garlic basil naan was delicious though there was barely any basil flavor the naan still went well with our chicken dish because of its fluffiness in the middle and crispiness on the side! The chicken makhani was very tasty as the chicken was very tender and there was plenty of it in the dish. The gravy was very flavorful and very savory and I was glad because the curry didn't taste incredibly oily like a lot of Indian curries do. Lastly, my favorite part of the meal was the amazing mango kulfi which was not made fresh it was served in plastic but the kulfi was still DELICIOUS. OVERALL, India's Tandoori was a pretty good option for Indian food and it was also well priced not too pricey. For the pretty good food, the affordability, and the prime location I would definitely recommend India's Tandoori to others! P.S. if you get a curry that is very bright colored the colors may stay under your nails for a day or so. Also there were lots of vegetarian and vegan options!

This is their Cucumber and "tomato" salad!
    Michael S.

They have a salad that's literally called a "tomato and cucumber salad" and they gave us a to go order with nothing but cucumber in it. I like tomatoes, more than cucumbers and tomato is the only reason I ordered the salad. I tried to get a refund on Postmates and apparently either Postmates or this restaurant doesn't allow refunds even when it's something I didn't order.

I was thinking a red creamy dish
    Carrie L.

When I asked the waiter if he recommended the chicken tikka masala or butter chicken and he suggested the chicken sagwalla - I don't know if he thought it was a great idea or funny - but if someone was new to Indian food, they'd never come back. Thankfully I'm familiar with this Indian side dish (not the name clearly) and like it but was not looking for that as my main at all and am clearly disappointed. I was hoping for the red creamy dish I love or something similar

Too many times I've walked past wondering why it wasn't crowded. It's like NoHo's best kept secret. More people need to visit! The staff was friendly and informative. Answering all my questions. The ambiance was a touch intimidating at first - it is very nice inside with cloth tablecloths - you don't see that any more in a reasonably price casual dining environment. Kudos for doing that. What I didn't like was how my boyfriend was treated and how long it took to get my mango lassi and the papadum appetizer and the rest of the vegetarian combo meal we ordered. We waited around 25 min and finally flagged down the server to ask about the mango lassi and the food. The table behind us that arrived some time after we did were given their papadum starter, drinks, and food before we were. What was more, another server came with our food and joked our kufta dish has chicken in it. Then he said he's kidding. This was not funny. I am, after all, vegetarian. The kuftas were too thick and hard to eat with naan. I did like the garlic basic naan. The rotis were too tough. We took the leftovers but neither of us actually wanted the food. I discarded all of it. This is most unlike us as we hate wasting food but the whole experience and food itself left a bad taste in my mouth. We came here very hungry after a long day. We browsed for restaurants open after 10pm on Sunday and finally came across this place. My boyfriend had come to visit me in Santa Clarita Valley from Downtown LA. He said he tried Clay Pit in Los Angeles and it was good. So we decided to come here and I drove us. In the end, we were met with a relatively unpleasant experience and mediocre food. We will not return here.

Even though I ordered the three item combo, I ended up just buying another fourth item because I liked it so much. The service is really nice and they gave great recs. All of the curries are unique. Everything is already freshly made when you arrive so it's grab and go. They do have seating and a wide range of drinks. Chicken tikka masala reminds me of tomato basil soup but with a bunch of different spices and chicken added to it and it's comforting because you can eat it with their fragrant rice! And It was the sweetest of the four options but I personally like sweet and savory so this was up there for me. The butter chicken was more savory and garlicky. The palak paneer was my favorite, I'd order that again for sure. The cheese melts in your mouth bc it's so soft. They blend the spinach completely which I really like not to have to chew my spinach. It's very creamy and rich! I wonder if they use coconut milk? The goat curry bone in was the spiciest and most savory of the four options but was a pleasant heat that comes later. They gave good portions of meat and honestly so worth it! The two or three item combos come with naan! They share a parking lot with other businesses in the small plaza. I highly recommend coming here for Indian food. I'm coming back for sure!

The samosas were absolutely to die for--perfectly crisp on the outside with a flavorful, well-seasoned filling. I'd come back just for those. The aloo paratha was another standout: buttery, comforting, and cooked beautifully. The garlic naan was soft, fresh, and exactly what you want alongside a good curry. The chana masala was enjoyable, but it felt like it was missing just a little something. I can't quite put my finger on it--maybe a touch more depth or spice? It was good, just not the most memorable version I've had. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is lovely. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff was genuinely friendly, and I especially appreciated the fun Indian music playing throughout the meal. My favorite was the chicken tikka masala surprisingly and not so much the curry that I got this on the refill. The rice portions were massive, and it was okay, definitely too much. The garlic naan was a tasty pairing, though. I also really enjoyed the Dosa and had to order a second one. If this is what dosa is, I may have a new addiction. The various dips around the plate were very tasty as well. It really was hard for me to decide which I liked the most since they were all great and had their own unique flavors.
