Tandoori Platter

Amazing food! The food was actually good the flavors were great! It's really hard to find a place with good Indian food with flavor. The service was also good, she kept coming back to check if we needed anything! The guy made sure the water didn't run out! Great restaurant interior decor! Very welcoming! I ordered a few dishes they came in decent time!

Ordered my lunch through Uber and unfortunately received raw and undercooked chicken!!!!!! I have previously ordered from here many times and have not had this type of an issue before not sure what happened, but definitely was not happy and definitely not safe to eat!!

Perfect order thanks to Gurnoor, what a friendly, thoughtful, professional young man --he even came out with my mango lassi looking for me as I walked away for a minute while waiting for my order. It was hot out, and he thought I'd like to cool off with my drink order. He is definitely a fine spokesperson for this terrific restaurant. Everything in my Vegetarian Thali order was delicious! And so healthy, too! I don't miss not ordering meat as the meal fills me up with energy. Love supporting local family businesses like All India Cafe

The love is so apparent at this restaurant. Humble and gentle service, patiently guiding patrons through questions. The interior is sparkling clean and the mural is just stunning. The food is beautifully presented, generous portions, and a firework of perfectly balanced flavors. We ordered plain and garlic naan - both are pillowy perfection and we used them to sop every last drop of the sauces.

Service was really wonderful here! They have a delicious and affordable lunch special. Beautiful restaurant, very clean and well run. My mother and I are both enjoyed the lunch special, the garlic naan was tasty as was the rice and chicken. Very nice flavors all around. Great option if you are looking for Indian food in the area!

I've been to the Pasadena location before, I prefer this location. Service was amazing and so attentive. Beautiful restaurant. Obsessed with the shrimp tikka masala, it's so so good and so much flavor. I will be coming back for sure. Lamb kabob was tender and great flavor.

Came in for a late lunch, staff was attentive and fast. I had some samosas, probably the best I've ever had! The tandoori chicken for lunch was good, but the chicken was dry hence the four stars. Overall, will definitely come here again!

We recently visited the Arcadia location and enjoyed it so much that we decided to meet up with friends at the Glendale spot. My friend and I ordered from the Dine LA menu, while another friend chose the Frankie wrap, and my husband went with the fish tikka masala, onion naan, and a salad. The Dine LA combo was such a great deal--it came with a flaky, flavorful samosa, chicken tikka masala, salad, gobi aloo, dahl lentils, garlic naan, Indian iced tea, and rice pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The naan was especially memorable--fresh, warm, and perfectly cooked. My friend loved the Frankie, which was like an Indian burrito packed with flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming, and we all had a great time. Street parking is available, and there's also a 90-minute lot nearby. The interior has a trendy vibe, complete with a beautiful mural that adds to the experience.

Wow!!!!!!!! Food was FAMTASTIC! Some of the best chicken tikki masala I ever had! Red wine was a bit eh... but everything else, salad dressing, daal soup, garlic naan, rice and more were all fantastic! LOVE the ground seating option. It was so fun and vibey! Really good service. They double checked to let me know if things had gluten in them and I really appreciate that care for my food sensitiviies.

Delicious Indian food. Fun cocktails with an Indian twist. Fun ambience with options to sit on the floor however regular chairs were available. We went on a Friday night and were able to be seated right away with no reservations.

Some of the best Indian food we've ever had! Garlic naan was made so well. We ordered the fish tikki masala and Vegetarian Tali. Vegetarian Tali came with nirvana tofu and it had so much flavor. Our waitress was very young, polite, and professional. We ate at one of the lower tables. Great experience but it was uncomfortable for me. My legs were too long and I'm only 5 ft 6. The ambiance is quieter with background music. Great place for connection and socializing with your company. Lots of seating available at this location. 100% recommend. Fish Tikki Masala: 5/5 Garlic Naan Bread: 5/5 Vegetarian Tali: 4.5/5

EXCELLENT INDIAN FOOD IN GLENDALE ================================= I have been to All India Cafe's newer restaurant in Glendale many times and I can't believe I forgot to write a review. My husband is a regular at their restaurant on Fair Oaks in Pasadena and he says he can tell a difference between the chicken tikka masala. I really can't. We are hooked on the chicken tikka masala so we always order the lunch special. See my photos. We especially love that salad dressing. We ordered the Pani puri shots and they were great. I also ordered a Maharaja Fashion to drink and that was delicious. They add a little saffron and that was a nice addition.

The set up is a little odd. There are maybe 4-5 tables total, and one was being used as a workspace on the right when I came in. All of the plates, utensils, and cups were disposable. paper plates. plastic utensils. The food itself was above average, taste-wise, and the garlic naan was also above average. I had my usual of rice, chicken tikka masala, and sag paneer, and all were good, but just a bit bland, which normally would not be an issue, but there were absolutely no condiments or spices visible with which to customize one's food. There also wasn't any yogurt to speak of, so while the food was good, it was all of a similar consistency, a lot of curries, without anything fresh to juxtapose with it. The employees were very friendly, with one lady asking us a few times if we needed anything else, and at one point, taking my paper plate and saying I could get myself a new one, but it was a little strange that the whole time we were there, there were only two other people eating by themselves, and everyone else who came in seemed to be friends or family, talking to everyone, hugging, going into the kitchen, and then just chatting at a table by the door. It very much seemed like a family business, but more family than business. I felt like I was at a friend's kid's birthday and had arrived late, and was eating in the back on a folding table while everyone else chit chatted. I think this experience would have been better if the buffet was better advertised/promoted, if there were spices and yogurt, and if there were fewer non-customers present. Still, I'd probably go again.

But while shopping on Colorado Blvd, we decided we wanted to try something different. We both love Indian food, but I have a sensitive stomach, so sometimes Indian restaurants can be hit or miss for me. We decided to give Chak De California a try, and WOW! What a hidden gem. We've lived in Pasadena this whole time and somehow never knew this place existed. The moment we walked in, we noticed how beautiful the restaurant was. The decor is modern, stylish, and has such a warm vibe. The staff and who I believe was the owner were incredibly welcoming and kind. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and the meat platter, and honestly, the food was incredible. The chicken tikka masala was hands-down the best I've ever had. The sauce is absolutely amazing, the meat was super tender, and even ordering it a little spicy didn't upset my stomach at all -- which tells me they're using really quality ingredients. Another thing we loved was the atmosphere. There was a DJ the Saturday night we went, and the music was such a cool mix of Bollywood, French house, and eclectic lounge vibes. It was chill, classy, and not overly loud or crazy. Super cute date night vibe. Overall, genuinely a 10/10 experience. I'm literally at home right now waiting for my chicken tikka masala on Postmates and felt the need to write this review immediately. Don't sleep on this restaurant, seriously go try it ASAP. Yes, the prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, it feels justified because the quality is there.

Will return out of sheer curiosity sometime this summer and try ordering the same dishes I had last time. If the Chak De gets their stuff together and makes improvements, I will update my review accordingly.

(Take-out: 03/07/26)…read more IN SHORT: Beyond exceptional - phenomenal - sensational. My take-out was popadoms, mango pickle, carrot pickle, garlic basil naan, mulligatawny soup, chicken buna, chicken balti, fried rice. PROS: insanely delicious and authentic Indian cuisine, succulent tender & crumbly chicken (100% very fresh white meat), melt in the mouth awesomeness, the freshest of spices & ingredients, with exceptionally-good service - top notch, lovely staff. In short, the BEST Indian cuisine I have ever had in Los Angeles. You will NOT regret this choice of restaurant, I guarantee. CONS: Almost none, but I would say the poppadoms were advertised as 4, but were more like 2 - difficult to tell since they come in broken pieces in a small brown paper bag (for take-out); also, the garlic basil naan was a little too 'doughy' for my personal liking, but that's just me - no biggie whatsoever - it was still fabulous. Limited parking on the lot, but street parking all around in the historical neighborhood of sweet Los Feliz. Inside, the main restaurant is medium-sized (cosy & intimate, certainly not cramped) and totally gorgeous - plush decor, terrific ambience, high-class romantic vibes, perfect lighting and music, with very pleasant seating booths for parties of four, and the some additional tables for two. Great choice for a date night. SPICE LEVEL ADVISORY: I had requested my two curry dishes as spice level 'hot', and they really were at the top-end of my tastebud limits (I am a very experienced curry diner from Manchester, England, where hot really does mean hot!) - both dishes were truly out-of-this-world (no exaggeration), but they really blew my socks off - in a good way. Can't imagine having spice level 'very hot' as I'm sure that would be WAY too much for me to handle. But, you on the other hand, should totally go for it - if you dare! :-) In conclusion, I was literally blown-away by this wonderful restaurant - both metaphorically and gastronomically. Thank you to the lovely lady and her brother who made this, my first try-out, unforgettable. From this day forward, my 'go-to' Indian restaurant without hesitation. Finally, I found you! :-)

It is an Indian Vegetarian mini restaurant and grocery store chain, similar to the India Sweets and Spices franchise in the SFV and environs. The grocery selections are vast. On the restaurant side there is both North and South Indian fresh food, some of which is made to order (say the Masala Dosa). What is lacking here is air conditioning. It was a really hot day. How can you eat spicy food while being so uncomfortable? I was still full from breakfast, so I ordered a medhu Vada with Coconut chutney, for dine in. The Vada was soft mildly crispy on the outside and delicious. The coconut chutney was fresh, with a strong chili kick, almost like it was tailor made for me (as I have said, "Life without spice is no life at all"). For my lunch carry out, I chose the two vegetable item combo. For the vegetables, the lentils and the Potato with green pepper. Selected flavored rice and Poori for the bread option. It also came with Raita and Pickle. I had this take out later in the evening. One thing is clear. In most Indian food outlets of this sort, there are the standard dishes and where ever you buy them, they taste almost the same. What I found with the food here was that it was markedly different. There is more depth of taste and flavor. Sliced cinnamon quills, black round pepper corns, whole curry leaves and other spices that enhanced every component of my lunch. This does not come cheap. Their small take out curry containers are $4.99, the large is $17.99. Seems to be the standard, for this brand's branches. No doubt, they are the highest prices for Indian fast food, if you compare them with the current existing competition anywhere in this vicinity. Service was caring, attentive and well delivered.

It wasn't lunch or dinner time so I didn't get anything but made a mental note to go try it next time. The aisles were in disarray, there were unopened boxes & opened boxes of merchandise on the floor of each aisle. Wasn't clear on what most of the merchandise was. I really want to go back with one of my Indian friends to explain what things are & show me what I should get. The henna hair dye that I purchased turned out to be WAY better than what I got on the popular online store. The prices of items seemed fair. The produce seemed tired & old. There were lots of frozen & refrigerated items & I wish I knew what's good. The cashier wasn't the friendliest of people but it is what it is. Next time, I'm going to do some research before I go so I know what products I should.
