We've been to All India cafe a few times now and we find the food is amazing the service is on point. I like to chat with the server and get recommendations. It's typically the owner and in Glendale she had steered us in the right direction. We loved everything including the delicious homemade ice cream for dessert. First of all, I came here for the pani puri--it's tough to find outside of street fairs. We also had the vada pav sliders (fantastic!) and the idli. The lamb curry and chicken jalfrezi were delicious, and the cocktail menu offers a solid selection with their own unique spin. This is a staple dish in most Indian restaurants and is a safe option for vegans. The portion is good for one person when ordering a side of rice or bread. The chickpeas were cooked and soft however the gravy was very runny. There could have been more spice and flavor. - saag tofu (6/10): puréed spinach with soft tofu chunks. I appreciated having a vegan version of the classic saag paneer. The spinach was very fresh but also could have used more spices. I would have liked more tofu cubes as there were about 5 small pieces in the entire dish. - onion naan (8/10): grilled yeasted flatbread stuffed with sautéed onions. I had not seen onion naan in many menus so wanted to try this one. The texture is more similar to a paratha as it is crispy on the outside. The portion is quite large and is good to split between two people. There is not a pungent onion flavor but rather a slight sweetness from the caramelization. - garlic naan (8/10): fluffy yeasted flatbread topped with minced garlic and cilantro. This is also a staple in any Indian restaurant and pairs well with any creamy dish. It was soft and good for soaking up the flavors of the chole. WOULD I GO BACK? Came here on a whim after going to the Brand library. We got the 2 person veggie combo, and it's absolutely fantastic. They also have a dessert deal if you check in. This place did not do it for me. The tiki masala was pretty good. The malai kofta you can tell was just the balls with sauce poured over them vs them cooking in the sauce. Dry inside. We were originally going to go somewhere else nearby but decided to pop in here instead. Glad we did. We ordered Fish Tikka, Masala Sauce, Saffron Rice, Garlic Naan, Uttapam, and Paneer Jalfrezi. The fish tikka was perfectly grilled and seasoned, so it didn't need any sauce but the masala sauce managed to add something nonetheless. And I feel like this is a high compliment to the fish, as I spent last week on the Yucatán peninsula eating fish with almost every meal. This stacks up to every fish dish we had there. The service was great they served me quick and fast we only waited about 5 minutes and our food was ready we ordered the fun for 2 royal feast combo, it came with plain naan but if you want you can upgrade to garlic naan which is way better but it was still really good. Our office recently relocated to Glendale and I can easily tell that this place is going to become one of our favorite lunch spots. We stopped in after a meeting around 12:30 and there was still plenty of seating. Staff is friendly and attentive. Decor is super cute. But most importantly, the food is so good. Not sure if it's because it's been a while since I've had Indian but the Chicken Tikka lunch was super tasty. During DineLA Week, I visited this restaurant, but instead of ordering from the DineLA menu, I decided to go for something different. The staff was friendly, and they had some tables with floor seating available. Although the restaurant wasn't completely full, there was a large party having lunch at the time. Usually, I tend to order the same dishes at Indian restaurants: Tandoori Chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan. However, this time, I decided to try their Tandoori Chicken Lunch Special as I was also interested in their Masala Fries. The Masala Fries arrived first, and I couldn't stop eating them. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with Masala Sauce, accompanied by a side of sweet chutney dipping sauce. I could see myself coming back here just for these fries. Although I appreciated the fact that they didn't use red food coloring on the Tandoori Chicken, unfortunately, it was dry and lacked the flavorful Tandoori spices I'm used to. However, I did enjoy the side dishes that came with the lunch special. One thing that bothered me was that I had to sign and tip on the spot while the server was holding the point-of-sale machine, which was not something I was used to when I worked as a server. Despite that, I can see myself returning to this restaurant for a glass of Sangria and their delicious Masala Fries, which is why I'm giving it a four-star rating. read more

This restaurant is really adorable! They offer table seating and also traditional pillow style seating. I absolutely loved the pillow style seating; it felt cozy & fun! We ordered the veggie pakora plate, chicken tikka masala thali, and the shahi paneer dishes. Everything tasted delicious, but in comparison to other Indian restaurants, it wasn't my favorite. The shahi paneer dish could have had more paneer and wasn't the most flavorful. We also ordered mango lassis, which were yummy. The service was attentive, quick, and friendly! It came with two (2) Naan bread, Basmati Rice, Aloo Matter and Dal of the Day. The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Naan Bread were so delicious. As for the Aloo Matter and Dal, I am not familiar with those dishes. But the Aloo Matter, which I Googled and based on what it looks, provides some fiber.
