I would like to share my experience to guide other customers to prepare themselves what can happen. Also this review maybe a guide to the owner Juan and Sales Rep Adriana to improve their customer service. Summary : - I paid for the product months ago because there was limited amount and the product was supposed to stay at their warehouse until my construction starts. They sold my product to someone else. My design had to change which I am not happy. - We got one delivery but charged 3 times shipping (each $900+) - The delivery we got missed items and the contractor could not do anything for couple days, caused late charges and $4,000 cost for unused labor. - We were agreed during the purchase about return of unopened boxes. Turned out it has 30 days time limit from the order date, and after several calls they offered 40% restocking fee and delivery costs for accepting return. - There are many other issues about missing inventory, super delayed answers and trying to forward the responsibility to vendors, I don't wanna mention all. To the people who wants to be a customer of All Natural Stone : - Same products are sold in different online places, the source is same and the online prices are much better even asking for a discount. Please search other sellers before you buy and negotiate with them. - Shipping can be free online purchases or you can pick up instead of paying thousands of Dollars. - Be sure about their return policy. After you make the payment your phone calls can be ignored or the answer can be delayed as long as 20 days. Summary of what is wrong: After order is placed, the sales rep should follow up with distributor and confirm that order is good and can be honored. In my experience with All Natural Stones, no follow up was done. When I am calling for update on delivery date, the follow up is done to find out the material was potentially given to someone else by the distributor. When the order is cancelled since the back-order dates are not working out, the refund takes multiple calls/ emails and finally an escalation call to manager before it is addressed. When addressed, they need to be reminded to return the Credit Card charge also according to SB 478. By mistake, I was provided the store copy of the sales receipt which showed me cost of getting stones from distributor. There is a 27% markup to give the material to me. Read the sequence of events below. I am not sure what service I got for the 27%. Please take your business somewhere else. Material Selection Visit: Aug 23th : Basic Quote done. Scope of Business - 2 Bathrooms. Order 1: Sample Box Order: Order ID 0218xxx 09/15/2025: First contacted to place the Sample Order. Took 1 week(09/15) to place the order. Possible phone tag. Emails also sent for the same. Payment done. 09/30/2025-10/02/2025 : Follow up email sent for delivery date estimate - No response. Finally managed to get rep on phone to talk on 10/06 10/08/2025: Informed that Match Tiles 3x12 is back ordered. This was only found out only because I am constantly asking for updates. 10/09/2025: Collected the Master Bathroom tiles and was shown invoice cancelling out the Guest Bathroom material and promised refund of money. 10/23/2025: Informed Rep, that I am waiting for my refund for the Match 3x12 tiles which were never received due to back order. Escalation call done on 11/07 and finally refunded money on 11/12. ORDER 2: Main Order for Both Bathrooms: 0218xxx 10/09/2025: Since 3x12 Match tiles were back ordered, I enquired about 12x24 Match tiles and was told, that these can be delivered. In addition, was told that all the material ordered is not back ordered and easy to get in time. 10/09/2025: My General Contractor, came and placed the order based on the 08/23 quote. While placing the order, both flooring options were placed for the Guest Bathroom. (Simple mistake, no big deal). Called to cancel the 2nd flooring option. 10/09 - 10/15 - Gave a week and then called to get ETA. 10/15/2025: Was informed that Spring 12x24 is back ordered till November. 10/16/2025: Came in person and chose a new selection for Guest Bathroom Floor. Went over each item with Rep and wrote down dates with Rep on my physical copy of the order. Was told 10/22 or 10/24 is the max when all the material will be available. 10/22/2025: My GC collects material only for Master and tells me that Matcha Tiles 12x24 are back ordered to November. Also told that remaining material for the Guest Bathroom is not available for pickup. No communication from Rep on this. 10/23/2025: Called/ Emailed and Requested that Matcha Order be cancelled and refund issued. Asked for update on when we can pick up remaining Guest Bathroom Shower Floor tiles and Bathroom Floor tiles. Requested new Invoice showing all cancellation and refunds to be issues asap. Was promised in a day or two 10/26/2025: Guest Bathroom Flooring is picked up and there is no update on Shower Flooring. From 10/26/2025: Radio Silence. I am not getting updates on the Shower flooring or getting communication for the Refunds. 11/03/2025: Called the office and spoke to someone and now informed that Shower Flooring is not ready. Backordered or delayed till min 11/10. Requested that this line item be cancelled asap. 11/03/2025: Only after making noise, Refund is issued for the main order. Also when the refund is issued, it should include the Credit Card Surcharge too based on SB 478. That is not done. 11/07 : Escalation call was setup with Manager, who kind of apologized and worked to get all the refunds. read more

Surprising number of places in the Bay Area to get slabs and remnants but All Natural Stone (ANS) gets the nod due to a good selection at fair prices and very nice staff. You often don't need a full slab and, if you don't, remnants are an affordable option. Insiders will tell you to check the boneyard. ANS doesn't just point them out to you but will move the remnants around so you can get a better look at them. Good service is something they're known for. Each time we've come in (bathroom floor tile, laundry counter top, kitchen island) they've been very helpful. By now Sal and Gayle recognize us and interact as if we are old friends. On our most recent purchase, Gayle spent a ton of time showing us options, eventually steering us to a cement-marble terrazzo slab we hadn't even originally considered. 1. Poor quality. Huge discrepancy in lots not just color but also material texture ie it's smooth or rough. So the first lot was smooth and a true mission Red. The next lot was rough and orange they don't tell you about this so then you pay for the freight you get the whole thing in and maybe your tile people put it in if your tile people and contractor doesn't catch it and then your really having to decide whether you're going to get new material and spend the money to redo the work as well as the inconvenience or accept them saying sorry you're right it's quite a bit difference and we can just refund you for the cost. Too bad this happened. 2. Terrible communication I have been trying for over a month to get my first invoice receipt that I already paid. They don't seem to understand the question and they give me the runaround. I had been told a certain amount to send in, but never been given a clear invoice. Working with contractors can be very nerve-wracking but Francisco and his team of installers execute 100% perfect. From custom cuts to seamless outlets. The do it all. ANS sources from many other vendors; they do not produce much of their own as Daltile, Emser or Bedrosian. Because their tracking system and communication is sooo poor, we ended up with 2 orders that didn't arrive. One porcelain tile was back ordered and we were not told of this until 2 weeks after ordering and the tiler went to pick it up. We had to scramble to find an alternate supplier. The second order was a Tile Shop tile, ANS ordered through The Tile Shop and the salesperson kept giving us conflicting info and had no idea where our tile was and when it would arrive. You can tell he just wants to make his customers happy, we appreciated that after we hit a snag with our order. When you're doing a large remodel, there are so many things to shop for it's beyond stressful to make the right decision; everything feels permanent when you shop for tile and slabs. For our house tile order, I was charged $1000 for freight. For an additional order of 15sf, I was charged $45 each time for freight. Half the tile order was wrong and I had to live with it. I was told 'lot variations happen'. Everyone is so nice when you are placing the order and then....everything changes once you have an issue post sale. Absolutely no support and no customer service. If you want to return, you have to pay the same freight back plus 20-50% restocking fee. For a broken box of tile, I was told it is our fault and we should have opened the box at the warehouse before picking it up. Wow!!! Please consider the cost of doing business here. I was very impressed by the selection at All Natural Stone and worked with Jeff Cassingham who is the sales manager and who helped me select black and white tile for my entryway, and tile for both bathrooms. Once ordered and paid for ($7,500) he never responded to updates for when the tile would arrive and ignored messages I left for him. It gets better! when the white thassos tile was installed in the entryway along with black tile, charcoal prism grout was applied. To our shock there were cracks in the white tile that absorbed the black grout and left black streaks on the white tile. I have asked Jeff or one of his team members to take a look and recommend replacing the cracked tiles. It has been 2 weeks and not a peep out of Jeff who continues to ignore my messages relayed to him by his assistant Gayle. Be aware All Natural Stone will be there for you through selection process but once you have paid don't expect any contact with them. Shopped for my kitchen countertops at ANS after the recommendation from my contractor. Largest inventory of quartzite in the Bay Area. I must have found 6-7 stones that I felt I could live with, but luckily my budget allowed for the one I fell in love with at first sight! Maldive! Octavio was my sales person and all the guys in the shop were so helpful and accommodating. Since these things weigh a ton they take a lot of patience to move and me, I have to see every stone in that lot! Made the selections and put them on hold. Long and short of it, when my fabricator went to make the final selection with the layout, the stones had been sold. Without even taking a breath Octavio said he had already called the next closest ANS store (in Dublin) and they had plenty of Maldive in stock! My normal commute is from San Jose to Walnut Creek, so Dublin is on the way. What a godsend! Dublin had at least 5 slabs to choose from and the contact there, John and the guys on the floor had no problem laying out all of them for me to get a look at! I cl only needed 3, but opted to have them send 4 to SJ ANS. No problem. They were back at SJ ANS within 2 business days, the fabricator positioned the layout, and Octavio knew I needed to see the layout, and took photos for ma and sent them to me without having to rave to the warehouse to see the draft. Having been to various marble/granite warehouses in the South Bay, All Natural Stone offers a good selection of slabs but what sets them apart from some of the others is the quality. Their pieces are really striking. They have a nice assortment of polished, honed, and leathered stones for those who prefer one type of finish over the others. They turn over inventory relatively fast... so if it's worth making repeat visits. We've been there three times over a 5 week period and have seen a fair amount of change in inventory and selection. They also offer a decent assortment of tiles (materials, colors, textures, and designs). Some of their mosaics are displayed beautifully on the walls and floors. We did not get the good service that other reviewers talk about. The store is indeed quite large with vast selection. Perhaps we just ended up with a unprofessional and inexperienced sales person ( I don't want to name him publicly ) and hopefully it's just the one bad salesperson at this store. We were advised to go with tiles that ended up being different sizes after they arrived for our shower walls! Looks terrible due to the two walls not having their grout lines lining up at the corner. Contractor had to move on to another project so we couldn't afford to wait for a new selection (not to mention the money that would be wasted). And trying to get any followups on quotes, order status or call backs was a nightmare requiring multiple calls and visits to the store. We went to what seemed like at least a dozen granite places before finding the perfect slabs at All Natural Stone. We got a great price. We paid, and then we took forever actually picking up the stone and getting it off to the fabricator. They stored our slabs for at least a year, and never pressured us. We kept asking, are you sure it's OK? No problem. This was back in 2003. I just happened to see their reviews today, in 2019, and I was sad to see that some people were not satisfied. I was hoping that everyone would have as great an experience as we did. Seems like this is a great place to buy slabs, not so great at tile orders. read more

However, I placed an order with them on 10/12 and was promised that it will arrive on 10/15 and latest on 10/18. I called on 10/18 and was told they will call me. Of course there was no call. I called again on 10/19 and finally was told that the order was placed on 10/18. So obviously they completely forgot about it and placed the order when I called. I was upset and finally they decided to refund the full amount without taking a restocking fee. This is why I gave another star for the total of 2 stars. BTW, my order was a box of tiles that costs $55 including shipping so maybe that's why they didn't care about the order. As my wife and I were dealing with an unexpected remodel of our home due to an undetected water leak, we were confronted with the daunting task of choosing replacement countertops, tile and flooring for our entire house. Lucky for us, our contractor highly recommended we check out All Natural Stone to guide us through the myriad of choices for each surface. We loved what we had before the leak, but since the house is over 20 years old, many of the original materials were simply not available any longer. Even luckier for us, we were introduced to Cheryl Carter Graham who took us under her experienced wing to help us with choosing big slab countertops, tiny tiles for shower pans, floors and backsplash ideas...you name it, she was able to patiently find colors and textures that complimented each other as well as pleasing our eclectic tastes and our changing minds. She was wonderful! She kept detailed notes on all of our conversations so nothing was left to chance. She helped us find economical choices where she could, and put together a comprehensive list of our decisions and communicated with our contractor. She ordered everything on our list as we had agreed, and we were off and running! But wait...upon our inspection of one of the bathroom floors being re-tiled, our tile guy noticed a dramatic and unexpected color variation as he was cleaning the floor after installation. The unacceptable variation came from the same box of tile from the manufacturer...Now what? I took examples into Cheryl at All Natural, and she immediately got the manufacturer on the phone, and with her usual patient manner, worked out a solution and is having the manufacturer match a new box of tile for us and replace the mismatched section...She did it all, making sure our home is as we wished it to be. I had a great experience with Jeff and Sal, when I was buying exterior stone trim for a classic Craftsman look. I wasn't the most confident figuring this out and made a mistake, but Jeff and Sal patiently helped me resolve my mistake, even during these difficult COVID times when suppliers are not flexible. One star for good customer service when we were shopping for our materials, and one star for the advice we got about color schemes in our kitchen. I can't speak to the quality of the materials yet since we still haven't moved into our kitchen. However, I sincerely wish we had chosen to purchase elsewhere. We had an issue with our floor (not a quality issue, a size issue - no fault of ANS). Getting some partial refund for the unused flooring was a nightmare, mostly because every time I called (for weeks), I got different information and promises of an email about it "tomorrow". After three weeks, I learned that ANS had given a partial credit to our contractor, which nobody knew about (including our contractor, since ANS had not alerted him!). After about a month the rest of the refund was issued (still don't know why that took nearly a month since on the phone one person I spoke to said it usually took about three days). The main problem wasn't the money, it was having to spend so much time trying to figure out what was going on. My salesperson (who I won't name because she was very helpful initially), promised to email me with information and wrote down my email twice. After no email or other promised update, she stopped taking my calls. After a month of trying, I eventually sent an email documenting all of my phone calls and the various people from different departments I had spoken to. My salesperson then replied with a curt and unapologetic email stating that it is ANS's policy not to release information since my contractor purchased the materials! I don't disagree with that policy, but it would have saved me hours of time if I had been alerted to that policy on my first phone call, rather than being given promises that people would get back to me (nobody got back to our contractor either, by the way). Anyway, all in all, the experience was frustrating, and left a sour taste in my mouth. I prefer to support small businesses, but I will say that I also had to return flooring to Home Depot and that took me about three minutes (including unloading it from my car) and I got a FULL refund, with no restocking fee. read more

Because I like to take my time & try the samples at home, I found myself visiting the store numerous times. Most of the workers were very nice & helpful.
