There was an amazing selection of high quality tile. The customer service was great. We had Adam as our associate and he was phenomenal. Incredibly patient and provided 5-star customer service. We highly recommend him! I should also add that the associates at this store demonstrate poise and grace, even when getting screamed at. Unfortunately when we were in the store today, we witnessed a customer yelling at and berating an employee, a customer, and the store manager. She stated that she was part of a group of investors who flip houses and that she has spent so much money at the store, so she was entitled to certain things and bypassing rules other customers follow. I have never seen such poor customer behavior and yet Adam (our associate) and Andrew (the manager) reacted calmly and tried to de-escalate the situation despite this entitled customer's tantrum. This is a big store and you can check out their products online as well. Our contractor recommended this place as he has an account there with deep discount that can be passed onto the customers. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. High quality place to shop for tile, which is their specialty. They have some interesting styles like Poetry Stone and Makoto tile in the main showroom that you don't see elsewhere. They also have countertop slabs in a separate warehouse and another section with discounted styles. Been here many times and people are friendly, although sometimes hard to get a hold of when it's busy. Price point can be a little higher than average, but overall seems like a well-run family business with a reputation for quality. read more

I will say that you need to really be clear about your vision for your space otherwise it can be very overwhelming. After checking out tiles in several places we had finally zeroed in on Bedrosians for our home remodel for these reasons: Reasonable prices, they have sales during the holidays as well so make sure to make major purchases at that time. They are manufacturers as well so prices are reasonable compared to just retailers. Collection is not extensive but the varieties are more tasteful and contemporary than other places. They have some combinations of tiles put out in display and we ended up liking one such combo which we used in our bathroom, Some varieties take upto 3-4 weeks though. So allow sufficient overage. Due to bad planning we had to wait for some tiles for almost a month. read more

Came for shower tile (floor and walls) and was pleased with the wide variety. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Mariam (who goes by Mary). We eventually settled on Half Dome rock crystal -- it looks spectacular in the bathroom. They have periodic sales so you'll want to time your purchase. We got 20% off by waiting two weeks. They are really good about keeping you informed on your order status. There's another warehouse with countertops but the selection isn't as broad. read more

Great selection, easy parking, service advisors are very helpful. the biggest challenge can be actually getting service, but it really depends on when you go and how busy it is. I have been there and gotten help very timely, I've also left because it was taking entirely too long. when I have gotten help, experience was quite good. most recently, Rita helped us purchase tile for all of our bathrooms. I thought I was doing good in just narrowing down to a couple of selections... but hadn't even thought about the grout! she made it so easy with some quick recommendations. the order came in a timely fashion and communication was easy. the finished product looks fantastic. couldn't be happier. I'm soon starting a couple more remodel projects and will be back to hit up Rita for some help, no question about that! read more

Good selection of tiles. Didnt go and look at their stones side which was in a separate warehouse in the back. Customer service was excellent and Rita was very helpful and patient. She did advise us that if we were not in hurry we could back during the long weekend to avail a discount (very much appreciated). My contractor ended up breaking a tile and needed to re-order. They were kind enough to offer me the discounted price even though I was buying 2-3 weeks later. All in all a pleasant experience. My wish is that they have stock locally so that I could take the material ASAP as opposed to waiting for it to shipped from the distribution center. read more

My partner and I went to Bedrosians about 1,000 times last year. We were very indecisive about what countertops we wanted for our kitchen. We wanted porcelain, then we wanted quartz, then we wanted porcelain again. Then we wanted lots of veining, then we wanted no veining. I could go on. Theresa and Jordan were the most patient sales people we have ever worked with. They answered all our questions, gave us suggestions told us what tones would look good or bad. They told us the strengths and weaknesses of materials. They showed us options. Lots of options! In the end, we went with Quartz and we are so happy with it. It only took a thousand trips. Mariam who works in the tile department also is an excellent interior designer when it comes to flooring. We knew we wanted black and white. But we couldn't find the right pairing. We asked so many questions in so many different tile stores and Mariam took one look at the black we decided on and brought us to the perfect white. We had gone through a lot of iterations for what our floor could look like but we didn't feel confident in our decision until working with Miriam. I was helped by Adam Close for the tiles I was looking for. I was walking around, checking stuff when he came to help. At first, I assumed he was the manager of the store for how detailed his explanation for each product was. He took extra interest in answering all my tile related questions, spent so much time showing me each sample of what i intended to buy, I almost felt he owned the store. This place has great customer service, lot of premium tile selections and great displays. I just found out that their biggest sale of the year is on Black Friday. Walking into Bedrosians we were immediately greeted by a friendly employee, Christine, who was very knowledgeable and helpful on our quest to find porcelain tile that looks like wood. She showed us all the different options and helped us narrow down our options. She gave us samples to take so that we could select the best choice after further review. Once we decided, she helped us place our order and we received the tile pretty quickly. Our installer even commented that he was happy with the quality of the tile. Mary helped me pick out amazing tile for my beautiful bathroom: * Bathroom shower walls * Shower floor * Bath floor * Bathroom vanity with top I had been to 2 other stores and at this point I knew I did not want an entire white bathroom but I didn't want it so busy I would hate it in a month. I told Mary what I wanted and she right away went and showed me many examples where I could see the entire shower built out. This really helped me to narrow down what I wanted and did not. After seeing about 5 different ones she showed me one that she thought was the best. They have a huge selection of tiles in all types of price points. It was a nice contrast between the shower floor, bath floor and shower walls. It also happened to be on clearance! Yeah! We had enough stock and could be available in 1 week. She had samples for me to share with my contractor as well. The only thing she missed was the grout for each but I was able to do it with my contractor. They also had bathroom vanities in multiple sizes in white or blue that was perfect with a nice gray and white top all put together. This was perfect since I need to have everything in 3 weeks. Everything arrived on time and no issues installing. I did swap the black handles for chrome and challenging to find since doors had 2 holes and tiny. I did finally find at Build.com and love the look since looks higher end with those handles. I highly recommend Bedrosian for your bathroom or tiling needs! read more

This was when Marta came to the rescue - she helped us pick out tiles for * Bathroom shower walls * Shower floor * Shower accent * Bath floor We didn't want everything to be identical but were afraid of things not meshing - Marta made sure everything go together (and yet not "boring"). She also brought up color options for the grout and metal trim (not something we would have thought about), and the end result is amazing. When it was time for kitchen backlashes, we of course went to Marta again. We are starting a new remodeling project and have come to Bedrosians three times in the last few weeks. I would have to echo some recent complaints about the customer service - it has been noticeably worse than before. Our first visit was fine. We came on a quiet weekday morning and received decent help from a patient store advisor. Our next two visits were not good. All we wanted to do on one visit was get a single piece of sample tile, but we tried to make our request literally 2 minutes past the cutoff for personalized assistance. As a result, none of the three persons sitting at the desk would help us that day. On our last visit, we did arrive in time and signed up for a 30 minute appointment, but the person who helped us was impatient and made a rude comment to my wife about her difficulty deciding on a couple different selections. The 3 star rating is more of a reflection of the quality of the products at this store. We will have to come back another time to finalize our countertop and tile choices, and we'll see if this pattern of substandard customer service continues. read more

The Bedrosians tile selection is nice, but the overall customer service brings it down about a notch and a half for me. In this time of COVID, you can only get in by appointment, so if you don't have one, you're out of luck. You can't come in to even browse the tile offerings. I saw several people turned away for this. Luckily, I had an appointment, so I was not one of them... We spent some time with a rep to pick out the tiles we wanted in person. When it came time to make adjustments to our order and to request for an updated itemized list, updated link for online payment, it was a little frustrating. The rep was clearly much more comfortable talking on the phone vs. over corresponding over email, but with conference calls all day during the work day, it was easiest for me to finalize details over email. Also, considering that I wanted updated itemized lists and an online link... hello, email... I had to send multiple follow-ups, make follow-up calls to follow-up on my email requests, it was annoying as hell to not have timely follow-through. On a construction project in the time of COVID, it's important to go a little extra and be attentive and responsive to paying customers. Nice tile choices, but honestly, I probably wouldn't come back for future projects just based on how much follow-up needed to happen on my end. read more

As a designer, the site is easy to use which I appreciate and I like the European assortment. 1st issue - I showed a client a previous job's tile and she loved it so ordered the same tile. According to customer service - what you see on the website is not necessarily what you'll get when you order. Each "lot" is different. Unhappy client. 2nd issue - On our third job using Bedrosians I was down TWO tiles after a few broke while cutting detail work. Asked if I could just buy two sample tiles and they said no. I had to buy the whole case. They sent us broken tiles so they had to break open a case to send us the replacements so I know they had spares. I came to Bedrosians from the recommendation of a local contracting business. Before Bedrosians, I had visited maybe 3 to 4 other slab suppliers and I believe that Bedrosians in San Jose offers an extremely comprehensive amount of slabs and prices that were WAY cheaper than the other places I had visited. As an example, I saw some quartzite slabs at Bedrosians for 40 dollars / sqft while I routinely saw quartzite at 80+ dollars sqft elsewhere. Additionally, the person who was on the floor in the slab warehouse was extremely helpful, and walked down the aisles with me to select the perfect slab for our project. There were no high pressure sales tactics, and we will definitely be coming back to Bedrosians when and if we need to buy slabs for future remodels. read more

Worst customer service. We ordered floor tiles and they told us they would be ready in a week, so we started the construction of our bathroom. We called back in a week and they told us it's delayed by 2 weeks. We then called back 2 weeks later and they told us the tiles haven't even shipped out from the warehouse. I asked them to give me an estimate but they say they couldn't. I asked them to check with the warehouse and they said they would call us back. They never did. We have to put everything on hold and pay extra for the contractor because of the tile delay. The construction delay is interfering with our trip plan next month. All because Bedrosians is not trying to resolve the issue. At this moment, still no date on when it will arrive. I won't recommend Bedrosians. Go to Bullnose Tile instead. read more

We visited many tile and slab stores while doing our kitchen and bath remodeling. Bedrosian has a large selection and competitive prices. They are more expensive than the big box stores, but cheaper than some local competitors. For example, the quartz slabs we bought there were about $800 per slab less than another store for the same exact brand and color. Their salespeople are helpful but do not offer any sort of design help. Typically, their policy is to hold your materials for ~2 months. We bought the slabs in March during their March madness sale. Unfortunately, due to delays with our cabinets, we weren't ready to pick up the slabs until early August. Our salesperson worked with their corporate office to make an exception and did not charge storage fees. I would note that their return policy is not clear. They have accepted returns of tile and grout in the past from our bathroom projects. We ended up with a couple extra boxes of Cloe tile for the kitchen and was told no returns. read more
