They arrived right on time and immediately got to work with a great attitude--friendly, positive, and incredibly professional throughout the entire day. They had to make a stop at a dumpster first and but were back to our place promptly to start packing, which we really appreciated. Once they began, they worked non-stop--fast, efficient, yet very careful with all of our belongings. I offered to buy them lunch, but they kindly declined and said they preferred to make a quick stop on the way. They were very appreciative of the gesture, which speaks to their professionalism and courtesy. At our new place, they went above and beyond--patiently helping us place items in different rooms and even rearranging things when we needed to make space for additional items coming in. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for them. Overall, they made what could have been a stressful move feel smooth and easy. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, hardworking, and positive movers!

They arrived on time and worked hard at getting the job done as quickly as possible. The only issue I had was that they were sent a truck that was too small to accommodate all of our possessions, and we were left to actually move our barbecue grill, treadmill, and a refrigerator to our new location on our own. Regardless, I would still recommend them highly and just make sure that your quote is very specific to all items.

They're hard workers they move quickly, and they have never broke anything! Most movers I get really nervous because something is always going to get broken, but I don't have any worry at all if these guys. So much so I don't feel the need to buy extra protection or anything. They take really good care and wrap everything that is needed. One thing I was nervous about this time is it was the first time Dominic wasnt there, but this time the movers were just as good if not better than last time. It was an 8 hour move going from 3500 sq ft in lake Stevens, then stopped by a storage unit, then moved into to a 1,300 sq ft apartment in Southlake union. Overall it was around $1750 after tax and then I tipped them on top (but did it because I wanted to, I didn't feel any kind of pressure to do so). In my opinion that's a really good price for 8 hours of moving. Anyway, I told them I'm hoping this is the last time, mainly because I dont wanna move not because of them or anything. Definitely recommend these guys and will continue to reach out and use them if I ever have to move again. Thanks!

Third time was not the charm. First time I used Two Men and…read morea Truck was 2011. That move involved three flights of stairs, heavy furniture, and on the hottest day of the year. The crew was amazing, hard working, and honestly fun. Second time I used Two Men and a Truck was 2014. That move involved one flight of stairs, taking one apartment and moving the contents into two studios in two different buildings in the same complex. Two sets of elevators. It went fast, crew cracked jokes, and they worked very hard. Both times the crews broke for lunch. I'll admit I picked Two Men and a Truck based on those experiences. But after this move I'll shop around next time. This move was the reverse of the 2014 move - we were taking the two studios and moving them into one apartment. I submitted a request for an estimate on-line but noted that this was not a typical move. I received the estimate within hours. My biggest complaint has to do with the disconnect between the office staff and the movers. I provided details to the office staff in e-mails and phone conversations. These details were essential to the move. I knew that some of these details may impact how the movers prepared for the job. I provided an updated inventory list of furniture including manufacturers. The movers received none of this supplemental information and in turn was unprepared. This resulted in them going too far down a road they could not easily turn around in (tried to prevent that with a very detailed map), and being surprised with the move. It wasn't typical and they were caught off guard. They voiced their displeasure frequently about the situation. The movers were hard working. They agreed to move everything once I purchased liability insurance. I understood that position. I was confused when they said they couldn't break for lunch because I would be charged for it. I wasn't charged for the crews lunches before and figured it has to be against some labor laws, but they didn't take my offer to take breaks. I wish they would have. Like anyone who works long hours without breaking the care and concern diminishes. After they declared they were done they left without wanting to do a walkthrough of the spaces after to make sure everything was grabbed. Had we done that we would have noticed the items pushed aside in the closet that were left behind. These were items not previously in the closet, so guessing the items were put there thinking the crew would grab them later and then forgot. They may have noticed that they didn't hang the television correctly and had it only half on the mounting bracket. But they were there 2.5 hours longer than expected so they left as quickly as they could. I was pleased nothing was damaged. And the vast majority of items made it to the new place. I appreciated the moving crew's dedication. I just wish all those details would have made it to them to perhaps avoid all the resulting consternation the crew experienced that day.

There was a guy who waited just 4 days before my long distance move with a little over 40 pieces to move from my one bedroom apartment. I booked the movers way over a month before the move. I was given my first estimate over the phone with the lady who takes the payment. 4 days before the move the guy comes over and increases me to $1200.00 more than I expected. No one cared!!! I have 4 days til my move with a unexpected 56% increase onto the original estimate. The man could have came over way in advance. I'm not rich and I don't have another 1000.00 just to spend for last minute moving costs. I found that it was shady business. I won't use them again. I did tip the little guys doing the actual moving though.

The company is family-run, the owners come out on most jobs themselves, and the crew is either family or has worked with them for many years. They absolutely babied my antiques with layers of bubble wrap, cardboard and shrink-wrap. Plus they showed up on time, brought the job in slightly under estimate, and were scrupulously polite and unrelentingly cheerful in the bargain. Even when it was 90 degrees the day of packing and raining the day of moving. Can't recommend them more highly.
