I found out that my water tank had a little bit of leaking. Therefore I called an emergency service. Without finding a problem or any diagnosis, they charged $395 after wiping out the water. After that incident, I needed to go abroad for a week, During that time, there was another leaking incident. As soon as I arrived back home, I asked a service from the All Plumbing. Again, they could not find any problem or any diagnosis. Then they charged me again $150 because there was no water on the water heater pan. No sense of after- service or follow-up. Alas, my almost 40-year-old water heater finally bit the dust. After getting a couple of estimates for a new one, I decided to go with All Plumbing, both because their estimate was more reasonable and because Kabir at All Plumbing continued to be so responsive and helpful as we exchanged information via email regarding an estimate. The team (Jose and Dominick) arrived promptly (actually, they called ahead and asked if it would be okay if they came a little early, which was fine with me). I'll mention here that my water heater is a low-boy located under the eaves through an opening in the wall at the end of my little laundry room. It is not at all easy to work on, and the opening in the wall is barely wider than the water heater so getting the old one out and the new one in was an additional challenge. Nonetheless, Jose and Dominick continued to work steadily for several hours until they successfully completed this difficult job. I also appreciated that they installed a lever-type control for shutting off the water to the water heater if needed (e.g., in an emergency), which is much easier to use than the old-style one on the old water heater. In addition, I had them install a new garbage disposal (the old was literally held together with duct tape), and they did a great job with that as well. Both work areas were left nice and clean. Bottom Line: Although needing a new water heater (and paying for it!) is no fun, I am a happy customer. (With kudos to Jose and Dominick for their excellent work!) read more

We had an appointment for a technician to come on a Thursday, but they called to advise that the technician couldn't come until Friday. They technician did run a few hours late on Friday but they came and got the work done and so glad to have hot water again. I was very happy with the promptness and professionalism of All Plumbing. Our water main broke between the meter and the foundation of our house, and was dumping large amounts of water underneath our foundation. This only went on for about 12 hours, because All Plumbing's owner/master plumber came out promptly the same day it happened to give an estimate and help me shut off the water at the street. This probably saved our sump pumps that had already been overloaded for 12+ hours. The next day, a crew of three people showed up on a cold January day and dug a 50 foot ditch. By 8pm that night, they had laid a new pipe and connected it, so my family and I could take baths before going to bed. The next morning, another crew showed up bright and early to seal the holes in the foundation (they did a very thorough job) and fill up the ditch. They even went so far as to try and replace the grass that had been dug up. They swept the driveway and went the extra mile. In March 2022, Frosty's Heating & Cooling came out to service our HVAC and chemically flush our tankless water heater. During the course of that work, the technician broke the shower valve cartridge and left the scene without repairing it. He shifted the responsibility for the damage and repair to the owner, leaving me with a broken shower. I go into more detail on that in my review for Frosty's, but suffice it to say I was not happy. On the recommendation of a neighbor, I called All Plumbing. They were responsive and came out immediately to address the issue. The part was generic, but the technician used his expertise to find a match and had us back up and running in short order. The cost seemed a bit high ($350), but I'm attributing that to the quick response and my lack of knowledge on plumbing repair costs. I have since learned from a different reputable plumbing company that the reason for the water building up in my drain pan is because my drain pain is cracked and damaged and water that is indeed coming from somewhere in my washing machine isn't able to flow down the drain. There has been no blockage in my drain at all. The technicians sent by All Plumbing who couldn't communicate in English, either noticed this issue and neglected it or were too incompetent to recognize it. Kabir/All Plumbing partnering with Best Plumbing replaced our orangeburg sewer line. They dug the trench and installed the new pipe in one day (Saturday); the inspector came early Monday, and the lawn was put back together by Monday evening. The crew had to take out a chunk of sidewalk, and that was neatly replaced as well. The backfill was tamped down so other than the grass seed and straw they put down, you wouldn't know anything was different. They were efficient and courteous. What was really pleasantly surprising was that our water was shut off for barely 30 minutes, and the foreman let us know just beforehand so we were prepared. A very positive experience. read more

Never trust this guys, I had to change two values in my ac unit in my old condo, the initial quote given was 175$, but they called me before the appointment and said that I have to change the 2 heat valves as well and the total is 800, 400 for Heat and 400 for cold valve, the irony is... when I booked a second plumber from a different company and told that I have changed all 4 valves and the problem(cooling) did not go away, he said if there is no leak why did they change the valves, the actual problem is too much dust in the vents blocking airflow causing no cooling, the 800 dollars is just a rip off, stay away from this guys they are expensive than a cardiologist. read more

When I first moved into my condo two years ago I had a leaky tub faucet that I had "fixed" through a home warranty policy. About a year later the problem reemerged and I filed again with AHS who sent a new plumbing team out. This company came out, realized I needed a Kohler specific faucet, put on a temporary faucet and said we will be back next week. I called to follow up and spent about a week trying to get in touch. Lots of back and forth and about two months later I finally have a new appointment for them to finish the job only for them to not show. When I finally got in touch again asking what happened, I was told they couldn't find the piece they needed. (Which I had previously been told had been specially ordered, shipped, and arrived.) Finally, the dispatched plumber texts me unofficially to say he will do it on the side for 300. Absolutely not. I stumbled across All Plumbing after seeing their van in my condo lot and gave them a call. Sent in a few pictures and described the previous work and Mike was here within a week. It took a little extra work he hadn't seen coming but the quoted price remained the same and I was kept informed all along the way. The best part was when he took off the existing piece which looked like it had been through battle having been brute forced into a place it wasn't meant for and said that he had never seen anything like it in his 32 years of experience... Above average customer service. I called NUMEROUS plumbers asking for info about an outside clogged drain. NUMEROUS. We bought a fix me up home so we have been dealing with contractors and vendors galore. And honestly, most of them have been pushing my last nerve and buttons. I couldn't handle another jerkoff contractor!! I finally got to All Plumbing of Arlington, VA. I was apprehensive to call because of the mediocre reviews. But whatever. All the places with good reviews were 1) closed when I called and no one returned my call 2) assholes on the phone 3) huge assholes on the phone. Anyway, Kewin answered the phone (general manager) and he was polite and professional. Gave him a synopsis of the issue (outdoor drain with standing water, do you fix outdoor drains?) so he arranged for a plumber to come the next day. Tony arrived right on schedule and called when he was 10 minutes away. He said the drain most likely isn't clogged, that outdoor drains have a trap to hold standing water. He checked the indoor basement drain and it was fine. A trust but verify move. Nice. He snakes the outdoor drain. Put two whole buckets of water down the drain to show me it was fine. He then showed me the door was letting in water. The problem with my basement flooding? The jerk who installed the door used CAULK instead of concrete on the base of the door. Ughhhhh!! So Tony saved me more money in helping me ascertain why I was getting water into the basement. Tony was polite and professional. I asked him 1000 times--- "are you sure the drain isn't clogged? Was a little clogged?" And he said it was fine. I repeated "maybe it was 5% clogged?" And he laughed and he said we can keep putting water in until I'm satisfied. I inquired if he can install a better debris catcher and he said to save my money and just use water once every few months to break up dirt. Thanks again for the money saving tip. Its not every day that bad plumbing work could send you to the hospital but that's what you get with the guys from All Plumbing. I hired All Plumbing to replace shut off valves and install a new shower diverter in my apartment. When the plumber arrived, he couldn't even finish the work, as he didn't have the right torch to cut and replace the shut off valves. My head of maintenance, a Master plumber, had to use his own tools to cut 2 of the 6 old shut off valves off. Now it gets interesting. Standing outside the bathtub ready to get into the shower, I turned on the shower for the first time after the work. The handle and diverter cartridge exploded out of the wall and hit the back wall of the shower so hard that it chipped the tile that was just installed during the renovation. The shower handle didn't even drop an inch as it traveled the 5 feet and hit back wall. Now I have a jet of water coming out of the wall and quickly filling the bathtub. I ran out to the living room and grabbed a drill to get at the shut off valves behind the where the shower handle and diverter cartridge used to be. In the 45 seconds it took me to shut off the water, the bathtub was ¾ full, with the drain open. In another 30 seconds the bathroom that we had just renovated (new floor, new vanity, new trim) would have been flooded and destroyed. In another 60 seconds, the new hardwood floors we just installed would have been flooded and destroyed. Had I been standing in the shower, I no doubt would have gone to the hospital since the shower handle was right at groin level. Nothing like having metal explode out of the wall, hit you in the balls, and then fall down into a bathtub that is rapidly filling with water. I call All Plumbing and they say they say that it wasn't their fault, that its impossible that that happened, and then he barks at me for saying that I could have been injured. They yell at me, tell me its my fault, and refuse to take responsibility. Then they say they will give me a refund, but after waiting 2 months and calling them 5 times that check never showed up. These guys are liars and thieves and their work is so bad, it may send you to the hospital. read more

Had a great experience with technician Darin Moore 3 years ago. Decided to call All Plumbing for a simple valve insert replacement for my shower stem. I set up the appointment for Saturday 9-11 am and was told I'd have to pay an overtime rate of $210/ hour. I agreed. Two subcontracted techs showed up at noon, an hour late. We had taken apart the valve from the shower stem, so all the tech needed to do was replace the part. The lead tech, Adam, told me the charge would be $220 per hour and the cost of the part, $45. He said a total of $250, since he was cutting me a deal. I told him I would pay $210 per hour and $45 for the cost of the part. I was ok with paying $255, which I understood with simple math. The job was finished in 20 minutes. Adam charged me $250. I asked why he was charging me for an hour when the job took a half hour. He mentioned that there were two techs, the second which was being trained by Adam. This was a simple job with a rate per hour and the cost of the part. I was charged double the time and for a tech that was being trained. This job should have cost $150, for 30 minutes and the cost of the part. The techs quoted different hourly rates than the supervisor, tried to cut a deal that had no basis, and charged me a full hour of labor when it was 30 minutes. There were communication issues. This was a simple job that required one tech and 20 minutes. Disappointed in the drop of quality of service, confusion over rates, and poor communication of the subcontractors. The owner should be aware that his subcontractors are soiling his companies' reputation. Look around for a better experience and competitive rates. read more

Terrible. If I could give 0 stars, I would, but sadly, this is the lowest Yelp will go. Had an appointment scheduled on one day, but when the day came, no one showed up. We called, and they said that it was actually the NEXT day. Sure, could be our mistake, so we wait. The day comes and goes, and no one shows up at the time-frame that they gave us. We call, and the person on the phone says that the inspector called in sick.... but they forgot to call us to let us know (???). We were annoyed and it should've been a red-flag but we MAKE SURE that they will arrive the NEXT NEXT DAY from the original date. The comes and goes, and surprise surprise, no one shows up. No call, no email... nothing. Again, WE call the company. The person on the phone says that the inspector will be there in 10 minutes (apparently, he was working on another unit). We wait ANOTHER hour, no one shows up. We call the company AGAIN. The person on the other end says he'll be there in 10 minutes, but at this point, we are fed up. We ended up canceling our appointment. This is unacceptable business practice. They kept us waiting with no notices whatsoever, and when we brought our frustrations, the person on the other end was quite rude. The timeliness is one thing, but the thing that made US angry was the lack of communication and the rudeness of the staff after trying to GHOST us for 3 straight days. If you want any decent service of any kind, I suggest that you look at other businesses, because this was probably the MOST unprofessional experience that I've ever had in my life. read more

We live in an older condo building, and All Plumbing is one of the approved plumbers for our building. We need a new valve under our sink, as the people hired to install a new dishwasher did not feel great about our existing valve under the sink (a whole other saga). I called All Plumbing, and they let us know to tell the property manager and give the rest of the residents 36 hours notice that they were coming between 8AM and 10AM, and the water would be shut off around then. I did as such. I also confirmed with them that they would make sure whoever's coming here would know how to turn the water off in our building. They sent one of their tradesmen, who had never been here before. The plumber complained about opiods in California, looked at our valve, and called his boss. There was a list of things that I was apparently supposed to do but was unaware of from the scheduling call, even though I asked (like turning water off before 10AM, even though our property manager sent a blast out to all of the tenants saying this would happen with proper notice). Together, the plumber and his supervisor collectively talked their way out of not doing the job. Instead of figuring out a solution, he just left. I followed up with them twice via e-mail asking for a solution, but no one at the company followed up with us after walking out of our home having not done any work. Won't be calling them again, that's for sure. I do not recommend All Plumbing Inc to anyone - use them at your own risk. There was a leak in my condo, and All Plumbing Inc was called by my condo association to repair the leak. They cut up the sheetrock to identify the plumbing issue (an area of 3*4 feet) and identified that an elbow joint for a half inch PVC pipe needed to be joined. The price of the elbow joint at Home depot is $ 15. They replaced the elbow joint and refused to replace the sheetrock - in other words, they left the area they cut up open and did not fill it back. When I called the to have them fill up the sheetrock, they were very very very very rude even though I had paid for the full job. I was forced to physically go to their offices and demand a refund for the sheetrock work since they refused to do it and they had already taken my cheque. For a repair work of an elbow pipe costing $ 15 at home depot - they charged me directly a total of $ 240 which I paid, and after I paid this amount, they then charged me through the condo association another $ 604 for "cutting ceiling in bedroom found a half inch PVC pipe leaking". In total they have charged me $ 844. This is very very wrong on may levels, too many to list but enough to follow up on. Further, I have called the owner of the business repetitively, several times to follow through on the issue and he does not pick up my call or return my call. Does not return my text messages either. I am writing this review, based on my own experience with All Plumbing Inc, for everyone to be aware of how All Plumbing Inc practices - use this plumbing company at your own risk. read more
