There's a foam pit, rock climbing, and an obstacle course apart from the various jump areas. The floors were pretty dirty around the seating areas. But everything else seemed ok. Bathroom was clean. There are water fountains to refill your bottles. My son had a ton of fun. He did not stop moving for the whole 90 min lol. He did the zip line over and over again, and did everything except for the rock wall. I'd come back to this location again.

They have a low one for the smaller kids and a higher one for the taller or older kids. It's really cool all kids like jumping so it's perfect. They have this area that's like an obstacle course which is pretty cool. Each one next to the other is a bit different and challenging to finish. Lol kinda fun, because it gives them a workout and helps with releasing all that energy they have lol. They have a rock climbing area as well in the back where they have a whole area just for jumping as well and this fun running or dance game kids can use their bodies to navigate it or play it. And massage chairs for the parents is a plus LOL although all of them were taken. The birthday parties lasts quite a few hours which is cool then at the end when all the children are tired we go in this freezing cold room where we ate pizza and fruit and cake. They do a good job putting everything together though. The snack bar is actually not bad, they have an icee machine with 3 flavors. They have nachos and cheese which I did eat cause I love nachos lol. They have a small but decent variety of snacks for a good price. 4 stars though cause the ac was on full blast in the party rooms and it's not the cleanest place. Half the workers were nice the other half looked like they were over it lol. It's a fun place to take your kids though that is for sure. My boys just got home from Camp Nawakwa and had the time of their lives!…read more My older son was homesick and his cabin counselor, Squirrel, did amazing calming him and getting him involved. There was lots of activities and they had options so they could choose the things that interested them. Swimming, crafts, archery, drama, rock climbing. They had a dance and camp fires, they performed skits. When I went to pick them up my little one had lost his voice from singing and cheering so much. My homesick boy didn't want to leave... He even asked to go back for the next weeks session. Days later they are still singing their cabin songs and telling stories about what they did while they were there. I know my kids can't wait to go back and I'm so thankful they had this experience. And I'm going to make sure they return to Camp Nawakwa because they have made memories they will cherish for a lifetime...and they'll make even more in the summers to come

Such a great workout and a great hike for all levels…read more We tend to go right after work around 6ish, and it can get a bit busy, but the overall hike takes us at least an hour, depending on what trail we do. A few of our favorites are the Peter's Canyon Trail, Ridge View Trail, Scout Trail, and the Mountains to Sea Trail. Some can be a bit challenging due to the hills, but after a while you will get used ot it and will see progress, as I did. Great location to get your heart rate moving and to work out in nature. Bring lots of water and comfortable shoes with grip for the steep hills. Also, don't forget to pay for a parking permit to avoid getting a ticket.

There's always someone on the trail. Lots of animals see also.. I've ran into coyotes, snakes, birds, roadrunners ... Would definitely recommend for beginner hikers

Last Sunday (November 22, 2020) I finally got to check Rock Climbing off my bucket…read morelist, thanks to "Rock Climb Every Day" (yes, they are taking reservations during COVID and implementing all the necessary COVID protocols). Last year I successfully climbed to the top of Yosemite's Half Dome - without a doubt, it was one of the most memorable + accomplishment-filled outdoorsy adventures I've ever experienced. My first rock climbing adventure is definitely up there. In fact, my Half Dome adventure is what sparked my interest in Rock Climbing. Scott is an avid Rock Climber and he knows all the cool and underground rock climbing spots :) I've found that it's challenging to find people who love outdoorsy adventures like me. So, I usually end up doing these type of activities solo. I book directly through adventure companies to help ensure I have a safe, education and of course a FUN experience. Booking through "Rock Climb Every Day" couldn't have been more perfect from start to finish. In fact, I'm looking forward to booking another adventure with them. They cater to all levels of rock climbing from beginners to experienced. Most of all, they know how to make outdoor rock climbing easy and fun. They offer beginner rock climbing classes, rock climbing adventures, rappelling adventures, private instruction, family climbing packages, multi-day packages, parties + groups, climbing anchor class, sport climbing, trad climbing and much more! I consider myself a complete novice rock climber. Absolutely no experience - not even indoor climbing. Crazy, right? Our instructor Jim was knowledgeable, timely, communicative and fun! Without his guidance, I don't think I could have made it to the top of the 5.7 climb. He was there every step (literally every inch) of the way. It was truly a "team" effort. We completed 6 climbs ranging from 5.4 to 5.7 (level of difficulty). There were a total of 4 people in our group. 2 had some indoor experience and the other 2 (including myself) had zero experience. And let me tell you - I'm scared to death of heights. Scared AF!!! But isn't it amazing how the BEST things that ever happen in LIFE are the ones we were resistant to get involved with because of fear?? Trust me, it's not easy but stop running away from fear, run towards it! If you don't take action now, you likely never will. Your fears will win + will continue to win until you break the pattern. Start saying YES to fear. The scarier something is, the more you need to do it. I couldn't have overcome my fear of rock climbing without the help + guidance of "Rock Climb Every Day." What are you scared of right now? Rock climbing? What are you telling yourself you can't have, not yet? Rock Climbing? What are you trying to "figure out first"? Rock Climbing? My advice. This is such a gorgeous pocket of nature to get away from life for a while! There's so many places…read moreto go explore, people are really respectful for the most part so there's not trash on the trails, even people who bring their kids don't let them run around screaming like in some places. Nature is very much respected. It's also absolutely gorgeous! There's little Creeks, tiny waterfalls, the nature preserve itself is stunning, they have an area set up just for little birds to come visit that is beyond adorable, the birds you can come up to you! Well at least they did with us. I've also been to several weddings here, it's a really nice venue. Especially if people put lights up and have a dusk wedding OMG Parking is free, cheaper than therapy, wonderful break from the rat race. This is by far my favorite place in Orange County to just unplug.

Some people can afford to go to the South of France or some extravagant location for adventure but…read morewhy would I do that when there are so many beautiful places to explore here in Southern California. I grew up here in Los Angeles county, always just a few minutes away from the beach but every time I made it out to the water all I ever did was sit out on the sand or occasionally dip my feet. I didn't want my family to do the same. I want my kids to take full advantage of their surroundings. Enter Gary Golding. He is a human encyclopedia of this environment and how to navigate it. I felt more at ease with him as our tour guide And much more open about exploring and trying new things. I would have never gone out to Zuma beach on my own but there I was with my family having the time of our lives snorkeling and mingling with nature. Now keep in mind you can come to him with an idea of what you want to do or give him a general idea and let him plan it out. I would suggest a kayaking adventure which can be done at different locations. Since we have such great weather here in So Cal it's a year round opportunity. He is very knowledgable and enthusiastic and you'll be surprised how much you learn when the day is done. I can't wait until our next adventure.
