I spoke to the owner John over the phone, and soon after we drove our two cars to get them smogged. John was very professional and super friendly, and he offered us two chilled bottles of water while we waited in the corner shady area next to the shop that has a tent set up. Everything was done quickly and efficiently, and we spent less than 20 minutes altogether for two cars. This was not only a painless transaction, but turned out to be a very pleasant experience while supporting a small La Mirada business, we highly recommend Low Price Test Only to everyone who is due for a smog check, you'll be glad you did. I came across Hernandez smog check and drove out to them on a Sunday morning was surprised that it was indeed true and they were good! The kind older gentlemen greeted me good morning and asked if I was there for smog. After some quick paperwork. When a different guy came in to take my payment I asked "Why would he rev my engine like that?" He stated its to check for leaks. These guys are hacks. I was an ASE certified technician in my younger days. You don't rev an engine like that ever especially when it just had the oil put in. I will never take my car here again. There wasn't one technician over 20 years old. Bunch of little kids that don't know what they're doing. Probably caused damage to my engine. From the time I got there until the time I left all of them kept staring at me and my wife. Either they are really smoked out or don't know about making people feel comfortable in an establishment. Pay the extra $10 and go somewhere else.

If you don't have a current registration, they can pull your info from an old one, guy was chill. Didn't catch his name, but presumably Tony, is cool. The owner was rude, easily irritated, and acted like basic customer questions were some kind of personal attack. If you want to be treated like an inconvenience while paying more than expected, this is the place for you. There are too many decent smog shops around town to waste your time here. Bad attitude, misleading pricing, and zero professionalism. Hard pass.

I followed to see if help was needed but it wasn't anything serious. A nearby neighbor was performing a Mayan fire ceremony. Which looking how our world is today especially after finding out about Cesar Chavez us in the Latino community are finding ways to cope with these revelations.
