WOW! I am impressed!! The AC in my 2007 Honda Civic had stopped working a few weeks ago. I had seen Kool Auto's signs for sometime, saying they work on Acs so when I noticed there were no cars there this morning, I decided to pop in and check them out. Approximately 30 minutes later I am driving home in a cool, air conditioned car!! The AC relay wasn't working properly and my cabin filter was EXTREMELY dirty. My truck need brakes and Kool auto did a complete job on all four wheels. New pads, rear rotors and front discs. The next day I began to notice a vibration when applying the brakes. The hotter the brakes got the more vibration. I took it back and the owner/mechanic said the brakes where fine and the reason for the vibration was because the control arms where faulty and need to be replaced. He wanted more $$$$. I did not trust him so after two visits and trying to get him to fix the brakes that were under warranty. I went to another mechanic and explain to him what had happened. He checked it out and said the rotors and discs need to be turned. Problem fixed. I went back to KOOL and forced him to give me a refund. Mr KOOL, I was not looking for perfection I was simply looking for honesty. You say I only went back once. Let me remind you. The first time I went back I told you the brakes didn't feel right and the hotter they got the more vibration I felt on the pedal. You went with me for a test drive. When we got back you lifted the truck on the crane and did not inspect the brakes you just began moving the control arms with a crow bar and tried to convince me that there was the new problem. I returned a week later and told you that the problem was getting worse and asked you to inspect the brakes. You tried to assure me that the problem was the control arm and you said that I would have to do a realignment to get things right. That meant more $$$$. I used to work on my own cars so I know enough of when someone is lying to me. read more

Very honest and professional. My father puts about 1000 miles a year if that on his vehicle. When I went in to get his oil changed, Allen informed me that the oil is very clean and to change it only once a year if not driven more than 1500 miles. Very inexpensive for the oil change as it's $20 for 4 quarts and $5 additional per quart if needed. Coming from Phoenix to visit my father, I have a new place to take his vehicle for an oil change.
