By the time he reached his conclusion, I felt no surprise and had a pretty good idea of the range of costs i faced. After clarifying my choices, he explained avenues for resolution and their practical (part options, time and logistics) and financial ramifications. He suspected that the $150 part (plus labor) was malfunctioning temporarily, having been frozen.
