Highly recommend! They provided excellent service during our recent move including loading at our former home, stopping at a storage unit for additional items to be moved, and finally unloading in our new home. They were professional, courteous, incredibly hard working and efficient. Their teamwork between the three of them was outstanding and they filled the entire truck and took on many stairs at both homes with a smile and a "challenge accepted" attitude. :) They were careful to wrap our items to ensure they were transported safely and put floor coverings down to protect it as they moved our items by hand and using their dolly's. (note - there are fees for tape/wrapping which we knew about and accepted as part of the moving costs.) They were great to check in with us along the way to ensure they were placing the items into the right room/floor as they unpacked. All items were safely transported with care. The truck was completely full and they worked so hard we ordered lunch and drinks as a thank you. They were so surprised we offered them lunch and drinks and were very appreciative. I was shocked to see a recent review stating they expected lunch! We had such a different experience, they couldn't believe we ordered it for them and were very humble and thankful. I used them for a local move in December. The movers hit our fence and pool gate with the moving truck. I called and spoke with Julio the manager right away. I had to pay over $350 to have it fixed. After several attempts Julio asked for my Venmo but never reimbursed me. Although the movers did an ok job...it appeared to us they tried to hide the fact they hit the gate, but then finally admitted it. And still...no response or reimbursement. Unprofessional and unqualified in my honest opinion. My furniture is damaged, they damaged my walls, they charged me for the 40 mins they were delayed to arrive, called me a liar, did not wrap any of my appliances in blankets so they are all scratched, my work desk is missing 2 bolts so it is wiggly cause they didnt care to disassemble it before moving, they underestimated the move so there was stuff left behind that we had to move ourselves, they used a cheap quality tape to wrap my stuff including a brand new treadmil without proper blankets and now I have this cheap tape everywhere in my stuff, they got pissed we didnt provide lunch even though we didn't know we had to do so. We rushed to get them lunch, and we paid for the entire hour they were eating and resting in the truck. After the move, they charged 4.5% to use credit card, and they stopped responding despite emails, texts, and phone calls. read more

I recently hired 925 Movers for my relocation, and I was thoroughly impressed by their service. They offered a very competitive price, and their crew, led by Cris along with Raul and Juan, did a fantastic job. Their work ethic was commendable, as they were professional and incredibly fast, despite the narrow staircase and heavy boxes they had to move upstairs. They also wrapped my furniture very well, ensuring everything was protected. While I am still in the process of unpacking, I haven't encountered any damages so far. They also put down floor protection when they're in the house. The only area where I think the company could improve is to be more clear about extra charges. We weren't informed that moving the TV would incur an additional fee. It wasn't a big deal for us since we had our own van and were able to move it ourselves, but it's something to be aware of if you're getting a quote from them. This review is an addition to the review that Margo L. made. I'm the daughter she refers to in her review. I was there for the entire move and was shocked to find out the guys did not even KNOW they were supposed to pack. This is an indication to me that Julio dropped the ball on that communication. In addition, my intention when they first arrived, was to give them direction on the order that many of the items were to be moved. I needed for the living room chairs to stay until the very end so that my elderly parents had somewhere to sit while the move was happening. Also, there were several items that might not fit in the new space since it was smaller so I wanted to wait till the end to see if they would. What do you think the first thing the movers brought down to the new house was? The living room chairs that the elderly needed to sit in!! It was as if what I said went in one ear and out the other of all three of the movers. Not only that, they started bringing down some of the other items I had referred to even though they were labeled with a big piece of blue painters tape that had the word "LAST" on it. It was as if they had not heard a word I said. Also, toward the end of the move, two of the guys came down to the new place with a load saying something along the lines of they were finished. I told them I wanted to go up to the old space to check that nothing got left behind. I was flabbergasted to find that several of the kitchen drawers and a cabinet as well as lots of stuff was left in all of the other rooms. It was not furniture, it was miscellaneous items in closets and cupboards and even six boxes of Kleenex that was in plain view on top of a cabinet in the bathroom! While they were not rude about it when I brought it to their attention, I could see by their faces that they were not happy to find out they had more to bring down. When they brought all that stuff down to the new place, they just kind of threw it anywhere. It felt like they were in such a rush to get out that they just dropped it wherever there was space including inside the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Since it was not in boxes, it was an overwhelming mess to look at and made my elderly parents and myself feel stressed about where to even start putting it all away. For the most part, the movers were very nice, I just was not impressed with their inability to listen to my direction and to follow through to make sure all items will removed in an orderly fashion. I was a little bit angry with myself at the end because I found myself apologizing to them if I had at all seemed bitchy throughout the move. I recently moved into a new home and the moving company, Got2move, who happened to be the ones who moved me out of my previous home, abandoned the job before it was done. They simply left my dining table in my garage and flat out refused to move it. It's a 6 x 6 table that cannot be taken apart and has made out of mesquite, which is very heavy. But this table has been moved multiple times in the past one of the times was by the very company that refused to move it. Nevertheless, I was stuck. We hired Julio and the team to move my 92 year father and his live in two floors downstairs and into assisted living. Wheelchair bound it was very important that we hire them to pack, unpack and move all the furniture. And I live out of town and there was a storm so I could not be there. Another reason I really needed them to have a good experience. So when I got the phone call that the crew showed up and had no idea they were to do the packing I called Julio and he said he would send packing materials. As the day went on I heard they were not unpacking, still furniture to move and they left never finishing the job. Again I called Julio and he said he would personally come back the next day at 9a and finish the job which I appreciated. Only he never showed up. I called twice and nothing essentially ghosting me. I was planning a move from Livermore to Elk Grove and really didn't want to lean on family muscle for a full day of moving (considering this is my 5th move in 10 years). I sent 6 quotes out to large and small companies with quotes as high as $2500 for a one day move. I was only moving '2 bedrooms' worth of large furniture and a ton of small boxes. The high quotes were mostly due to travel distance. I received a reasonable quote from 925 Movers and gave Maria a call. She confirmed pricing, size of truck, and included 2 movers. There was an error in the travel mileage originally entered/quoted and she honored the discount without me even asking. I paid for total move time and drive time (time started when crew arrived and ended 1 hr after they finished unloading to compensate return drive time). Gerardo and Juan were efficient! They arrived on time, carefully wrapped furniture to avoid any damage, organized and loaded my items into their truck quickly, and with care. They even arrived in Elk Grove within 20 minutes of my arriving. They unloaded my items even faster, helped assemble my bed frame and had me inspect their truck to ensure it was empty. First - I had an initial appointment with Julio to go over items and some bigger furniture pieces that needed to be moved.. it was quick about 15 minutes. I used 925 Movers for 6 moves and the last move was really disappointing. Aside from the multiple items they broke or bent (bed frame) without telling me and I've had to repair, I've recently had an opportunity to go back through the stuff I haven't yet unpacked only to realize they stole an entire toolbox full of tools, several brand new large, expensive rubbermaid bins and I'm not sure what else. Additionally, their quote included transporting a small truck I had in storage. They were unsuccessful loading it and agreed to bring it over later with some help from one of my local friends still in San Joaquin. They never did and now won't, so effectively I overpaid them and never received any offer of a refund. They had every opportunity to work with me to review in person what I had to move (they had at least 3-4 weeks' notice prior to the move) and they related to a friend who spoke with them about the truck that they felt cheated for quoting me a low price, but they'd moved me 5 times already and I was very clear about the volume and size of the materials to be moved. In every other move, the team had been spectacular, so again, this move experience was disappointing. I recommend you have them fully review what you're moving if you use them - so they don't feel cheated and resort to theft and damage like they did with me. read more

I have to say that Sam and I were very impressed with Geraldo, Marvin and Raul (our movers). They got to work and they were always doing something. We needed a second truck, and while waiting for the truck, these guys did not just stand around. They kept busy! Wrapped all the furniture, disassembled what needed to be disassembled. We got to our new home, and they set up the inside of the house to be sure no dents or markings would happen on the walls. They really took care of our furniture. Showed up late. We were only moving ONE room - a bedroom. The lead guy just looked at it and said, "Whoah" over and over. Okay... first day on the job or what?! Yeah, we had a lot in the room, but come on! Lame and unprofessional in my opinion. The other guy did a lot of standing around. Things moved at a glacial pace. It took 4 hours to pack and move one room!! They got lost on the way to my new place and I had to call the home office to figure out where they were at. They had my number so... not sure what the problem was?! They unloaded fast once they got here, but the charge was ridiculous. I've had entire houses packed and moved faster and cheaper with much better service. They gave me a 5% discount because I complained, but then charged 3.5% because I used a card. WTF? Are you a business or not? To say I'm unimpressed is an understatement. UPDATE: They called me after the guys left and wanted to make it right so I requested a refund for 2 hours - $250. Marcos, Gerardo, Ambrosio helped us move earlier this month and it was very smooth. They were careful with our stuff, kept masks on at all times, and friendly. We had a 3rd person join on the day of moving to help pack, but they ended up mainly moving. If I were to do anything different, I would have had their movers come the day before to pack. I called 4 other places and from the get go these guys were the friendliest, easy to talk to, clearly explained their pricing and terms and ended up being the most reasonably priced. So I used them for my move on 7/23/21 - they were awesome! Julio and Marcos arrived exactly on time, followed all my special instructions and requests, were friendly, thoughtful and very caring about my stuff. Instead of forcing my couch through a small doorway they offered to take the door off the hinges to ensure they don't damage the walls or my couch. We have moved 5 times since 2009, and 925 Movers falls in the middle of the pack of our experience. The men were friendly and hard working. We are a family of four with a lot of stuff to move. The team acted surprised by the job upon arrival which was later than promised. They also underestimated the time it would take to pack us and move us. They did not bring enough wardrobe boxes and packed items in furniture pieces that could have easily been shrink wrapped and moved (e.g., small TV stand contents) while not packing other items and damaging furniture (e.g., 4 drawer filing cabinet). They were very careful moving us out of our 3-story condo and were far less careful moving us into our 2-story condo. Walls were damaged and carpet stained. They placed everything where we wanted and were happy to reposition items to get them exactly where we wanted them. They were the cheapest of the 3 companies we looked at. After uhaul told me they wouldn't have the truck I reserved, 1.5 days before our move, we panicked! Went to Yelp to find movers and it sent out requests to a few movers in our area. Their quote was much MUCH better than any others and the service was A1! I'm immunocompromised and seeing them show up with masks and a runner to put on the floor was awesome. They were very quick too even with all the stairs. I had pick ups in 2 locations with a 45 min drive and in 4.5 hours they were done start to finish. We couldn't have asked for better movers. We just moved with them for a local pack + move and are so glad we went with 925 Movers! These guys are FAST. Considering local moves are charged at hourly rates based on number of men, you definitely want guys who know what they're doing and get things done efficiently. I was first in touch with Cirilo who was the point person for communicating everything, and because of shelter in place we sent pictures of our home in lieu of a home survey. Everything went smoothly, Cirilo called 1/2 days before the move to confirm. On the day of, they arrived before 830am and once they got in, it was right to work! It was like a whirlwind that whipped through the house - just men on a mission, getting right to work. Cirilo himself also came and helped with packing so we had 5 men helping us at some point, all of this was so worth it because we were done by 3pm in the afternoon! * Important - this leaves you time to enjoy your new home in the daylight :) The 4 men who helped us were Julio, Rigo, Marcos and Alberto - not only are they absolute workhorses and strong as can be (some of the stuff they carried solo, I would never have thought could be carried solo), they were so pleasant and courteous on top of everything!
