The lady that does the DMV screwed up my mileage on my pink slip when she entered it she added an extra 0 which made my car say 160,000 miles instead of the actual mileage of 16,000.. this took me many trips to the DMV over a period of 5 months to fix all because of her mistake. I went in there today to see if she could help me so I could avoid going to the DMV again and she said she couldn't... ok fine but as I'm driving away she takes a picture of my license plate... so I call her to ask her why she did that and if I had somehow offended her and she went off on me tells me she was talking to her sister and she didn't know she had to ask my permission and that her life doesn't revolve around me. are you serious? this is how you run your business??? you screwed up doing your job!!! NO fault of mine and I have been nothing but nice about it. This took me 5 months to fix YOUR freaking mistake!!! Go take some classes on how you are supposed to treat customers and how you should act when you do screw up!!! Now her response is that I made a mistake? Why would i go there and go to dmv right after... come on girl come up with a better lie than that...this Wasn't a registration like she is saying it was a title transfer and it was almost 3 years ago, get your facts straight. oh and by the way this is all documented with the DMV. read more

Came in early am and was helped right away didn't wait long at all. I got a free pretest on my smog because I used yelp and checked in. It didn't pass came back again few days later and it passed. Make sure you present coupon before signing your paperwork to get the deal. read more

Went in a week ago to get a smog. I also got a battery and oil change at a different place before going to get the smog. The employee told me that the car wouldn't register for a test because it needed to reset. He told me to drive for about 100 miles and come back. He also said I could pay for the test and get it retested for no fee after I came back the only fee would be the $8.75 for certification. I thanked him, paid (even after he broke my key fob and told me that they sell them there if I wanted to buy one) and left.I dove the miles, then came back the next week. The owner came out after pulling my car in and called me over. He began flipping through a stack of receipts from other customers to show me what other people paid. He began yelling at me as if I stole from him, to the point of spitting on me. I took a few steps away from him (to not get spit at) and explained that the price I gladly paid was already agreed upon and my price was due to the ONLINE COUPON that he proudly advertised. He continued to yell at me and attempted to BAIT AND SWITCH me. Telling me that I would get no service from him unless I agreed to pay him $30 more and that his employee had no permission to under charge me or do my test again as offered. I told him that he would have to take that up with his employee and I was told differently when I paid for the service. Had I been told to double pay in the begining that I gladly would have. He then began accusing me of yelling at his employee the week before and told me it would now be $40 if I wanted my car to get a smog. I explained to him that I would have no reason to be rude to his employee and that was a lie. I told him To give me my receipts and I would never come back. I was not going to give him one cent more of my money after the tantrum he threw. I sat in the parking lot and filed a complaint with the BBB. While in my car, his employee came over and handed me my money for the test prior back. I asked if this was from his own wallet, and he said yes and apologized for his mistake. The employee then told me how the owner was a really nice guy blah blah blah. Basically the owner has no people skills and lets his personal business interfere with the way he treats his paying customers. At least that's what I heard after being screamed at by a maniac. The employee working there has great people skills and really tried to help me out. The OWNER on the other hand, is SCUM OF THE EARTH and has No business running a business. JUST AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

I called to ask about how much they charge to come out to your house and register your out of state car (because the car needs to be seen in person) the wife of the owner told me it was $100 (which I thought was a bit much because my home is across the street and the car cannot be driven) so I simply asked, in a calm and courteous way, if they would charge the same price since my car is EXTREMELY close!.... The Owners Wife then stated, " our prices are firm sir so thanks for calling and have a wonderful day." And hung up! I called back asking to speak to her again and demanded an apology for her childish actions! She continued with her, " have a good day" speech and hung up again. This isn't the first time I've heard of them giving customers a hard time! I just figured since it never happened to me it wasn't happening. Well it happened and they continue getting away with it seeing as they are continuing to treat their customers badly. It's a shame I won't be going back there anymore. read more

Exactly the service they told me. $40 out the door in 10 minutes! Moe (the owner) was on site and I got to talk to him and thank him for replying to me on yelp. I reached out to several companies looking for a place to get a smog done fast and for minimal payment. Moe replied and said that I could come whenever and be done in 10 minutes. Worst customer service and pricing isn't worth wasting your time. Totally unprofessional the entire time I was there. Yes, my car passed smog. Have not heard many good reviews from them. Had a family member of mine be treated unreasonably and we're totally rude to them and wouldn't explain why their car didn't pass smog. Do not give them your business. Your comment on my review as false is a lie. I took my 2010 Dodge to you guys back in August. And my review has nothing to do with that person. So please, continue to waste my time. I can give you photographic proof of a smog certificate from your shop, dating in August. The fact that I'm even giving a review is rediculous. No one has asked me to give a review on their behalf. My mom, who lives in Oregon, can no longer drive and have her car to us. Trying to figure out how to transfer and out of state title off the DMV website was beyond me. I did figure out that I would need a smog check. I called All Star Smog and they said they could help me with everything. If you need a smog check for transfer title or whatever. Please DON'T go this place. I have my smog check services there and i was not happy with the service they provided. They rip you off on everything. First if they know that you are going to do a transfer Title on your car, They will convince you to do the dmv transfer there with them. And they charges a lot more than you expects at the DMV department. I said I don't want the transfer services there, because the price is a lot more than The DMV cost. after the smog test completed, They charges me $91 dollars for a FAIL smog check. Regular price is just around 60 at their place.(which is already expensive) I asked him why is this much? His answer is. "Oh this is an old car I spend a lot of time on it... BULLSHIT! he never have the sign out or tell me before the job started if the old cars costs more to get smog check! And the lady work inside got mad when I said I go DMV. Also I believed that The reason they makes me pay 91 dollars for a Fail smog check because I didn't want to have my title transfer done there with them. I am an auto mechanic for almost 10 years. I have a pre 1995 car that some smog stations won't test. Went to my "regular" inspection station and was informed the man who operates the equipment that tests older cars was "off today." I am from out of town so I couldn't reschedule. Drove to this test only station and was taken right in with no waiting. This place is very fast and efficient, however the customer service is horrible. The woman who works there was very robotic, would not look at me when speaking to me, and actually said "Go have a seat." They shove the clipboard in your face to sign when you first arrive without explaining anything to you. If you want fast service and do not mind being treated like garbage then this is the place for you, otherwise go elsewhere. read more

Expensive! Save your money!!! 1st smog check didnt pass due to a torn hose cost was 59.75 + 1.50 to swipe my card!!! The recheck costed 38.00 +1.50 to swipe card again. Dont go to this place!! I got my car smog done today. My car alarm went missing after getting it done. My car alarm was there prior to getting it done. Manjot Singh did the smog check claimed he didn't steal it. He offered to show me the camera while he was working on the smog check. The camera is not going to show a good angle of the inside of my car!! I even called the police even though I know I'm not getting my car alarm back. Whoever come to this place. Don't come here. Owner quoted me this price for the week through messaging on yelp & when my bf went in today he charged him $10 more. Stated that he changed the pricing last minute to help with his business, but the coupon obviously states this price until Feb 2, 2019. It's not our problem if you changed your pricing, once you quote a certain price stick to it. Do not quote a specific price to bring customers in and change it up once they come in. He wouldn't even waive the $10 even though he should have. We definitely won't be doing business here ever again. False advertisement just to get you in the door. read more

Not hostile. i asked you to correct it with a phone call to auto checker, Which is a dealer service for checking vehicles not a consumer service like Carfax. Call them and let them know that the DMV at already started working on the correction. He refused because I didn't have a phone number and you didn't know how to use your phone to look it up. You then stormed out. yes I did stay in your business after you left. then your employee came over and asked me if I would wait outside That the owner was coming right back.
