Best choice ever! The technician was quick, thorough and informative. He found a bird's nest inside my dryer vent and suggested I take pictures to send my property manager. He replaced the low quality dryer vent sleeve for a way better one. Definitely worth every penny I paid considering my past two gas bills were outrageous. I wasn't home when they showed up to clean the ducts, my boyfriend was. The person who showed up seemed to be having a rough day and seemed irritated to have to be there. It seemed like they cleaned the vents and did a decent enough job. I showed up about halfway through and when I got there he seemed to be in better spirits and friendlier. I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. The cleaning was fairly priced so I would recommend for regular maintenance but if you're wanting good attention to detail for something that's been left for a while you might want to shop around

They are the best at what they do, have the correct tools, take proper precautions, and genuinely clean your ducts. We received before and after pictures--a night and day difference! We have also worked with Sean to help identify problem areas in our HVAC system. His knowledge of HVAC work (especially as it relates to IAQ) has been incredible. We had a Mold Assessment completed in our home, and it was recommended that we reach out to Sean for an HVAC assessment. Sean is professional, super knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time looking at our entire HVAC system, talked to my wife and me about his findings, and sent us a report with everything (photos, recommendations, reasons why things need to be done in a certain way, etc.). Also, he was extremely helpful in identifying who could help us complete any/all recommended work (Sean has helped train/worked with many HVAC companies in the area). We've implemented as many of Sean's recommendations as we could, and it has been a HUGE improvement. We have reduced the overall humidity in our home, replaced certain contaminated components in our HVAC system, reduced dust, and have better overall indoor air quality throughout our home. On Tuesday, a guy named Ron from Clean Air Pro came with a drill-powered chimney sweep kit that costs $40 online. He refused to use the proper equipment, claiming a chimney drill power kit is how they "always clean air vents." The online statement on clean air pro specifically says "we use specialized equipment - vacuums and rotary brushes, among others-to complete our tasks." And it was very different from the top notch service I received 3 years prior... Their office first said they'd get back to me in a day, but then the owner, Ben called and did his best to make it right. Ben managed to find a team that could make it out the very next day (which is very short notice, so was much appreciated) A crew including Alex from Houston came to do a "fix" - and they did a phenomenal job! They not only put plastic to cover surfaces and protect from dust, they washed the registers and primed them, they vacuumed (see pic) with the proper equipment, got so much dust out , they sealed off the sides of my register boxes since attic dust was coming out (such great attention to detail!), they even cleaned out the box under my AC that I thought was beyond hope! So grateful to the company for making it right, to Alex and crew for the hard work, and to Ben (who's following up with more training to ensure his team follows exact same procedure as Houston).

He first showed me the picture he took of our downstairs attic and then the part that to me was very hinky was when I asked to see the picture of the second unit, it took him several minutes of scrolling through his phone to find another picture that showed a moldy unit. (If the picture was just taken it would've been right there next to the first picture.) Estimate was over 3K. I had another company come out two days later and they said we had no mold and the estimate $1100. I'm going with the second company who spent 30 minutes going over everything and making sure that they provided an accurate estimate versus the service we got from Clean Air Pro. The other major negative was the person didn't even put up the stairs back to the attics and left my back door open to the garage.

I think overall, the cleanings were mostly good, but it felt like there was always something and at some level I didn't really trust the owner Emma. The first time my apartment was cleaned, a lady showed up with what appeared to be two children who should have been in school. I didn't think much of it at first, but it later became apparent to me that the lady cleaning always brought at least one child with her. None of the children spoke English and the situation made me a little uncomfortable. At some point it came up in conversation and Emma insisted to me that this child was actually an employee and was there to clean my unit. She said she has a hard time finding a job because most employers do not believe she is 18, but that she was. Since she looked and acted like a child, this just strained credulity . . . When I first booked, I asked if she could just skip a large guest bathroom/bedroom and bill us for a two bedroom apartment instead of a three bedroom. I was told this was impossible because of her system and she had no choice but to charge me the higher rate. At some point it came up again that I was paying to have rooms cleaned that I didn't want cleaned and she told me if I paid her via Venmo rather than credit card she would continue cleaning all of the rooms, but at a lower price. I said this was fine, but then they stopped cleaning the extra rooms and told me this was what we agreed to. Fine, but it definitely wasn't what we agreed to. Finally, Emma told me rather abruptly that she could no longer clean my apartment. There was a story that involved someone hurting their back, someone else going to Mexico, and Emma being allergic to cats. It didn't really feel that believable and I can think of other reasons why she would do this, but in the end it felt like an 'ok' resolution since at some level I didn't trust her anymore because of all the stories she told me.

I was looking to replace my entire AC system which is why it's important to find the best in the business and rated the best. It's also important to find more than one 5* business so you can get a better picture and quotes for such an expensive endeavor which I found helpful. If you're going to go all the way with such an expense, it's best to educate yourself as much as possible, and there's lots of YouTube videos on AC repair and replacement which you should watch prior to making that decision. You really need to be an informed and educated customer or you might find yourself with an inferior or wrong system. I found that certain AC companies want the steer you to certain brands they represent, so you may wish to decide on a brand first. I found that the Carrier Infiniti system with its very high seer rating and variable speed was the perfect choice. More details on this system in the photos below. If you live in a two-story house like mine, you can expect the price to be much greater due to the fact that you have dampeners which will need to be fixed or replaced which greatly adds to the bill. As for my AC, it was over 20 years old, but still chugging along. However, I knew there was going to be new mandates in 2025 which would greatly add to the expense of AC replacement such as a new refrigerant which is slightly flammable called Puranovance. I replaced my old R22 compressor with the new R-410a which is still readily available, but will eventually be phased out many years from now. I also mistakenly thought you'd get a good deal by replacing it during the cool months, but apparently a lot of people were doing what I was doing so no break in the price. As a matter fact, the date of manufacture of my new Infiniti compressor was only just a couple weeks old before it was installed. After some back-and-forth on pricing, we finally decided on a date of installation. Carl and his crew showed up and had everything installed within six hours and hauled off the old units. We still needed some troubleshooting in order to dial-in the thermostats functioning properly, but everything works perfectly now and the temperature remains exactly as you set it throughout the house. Both the compressor and the blower motor are incredibly quiet. Since I knew I needed this replacement at some point, I had enough money in the bank to cut a check for the job. When you sign up for Carl's service, you get Carl in the equation. Check out the photos below which show you the equipment, specs and the pricing. Update: After 2 weeks the plenum did separate, but I was able to use foil tape to close up the 8" gap. Personally, I think a 30 day check up would be a good idea not just for Carl, but anyone who gets this kind of installation from whatever company you choose.

I had to have warranty work and the cost of labor and freon was almost $2,000. I asked for a itemized statement several times to see what I was being charged for as the job took less than 2 hours, but they have refused to respond after initially saying they would provide it. They are very quick to respond and get you on the schedule, but I believe the way overcharge you when providing warranty work to cover the parts that are covered under the warranty. I'd also like to say that I don't believe it is right to charge me for freon when the reason I needed freon was because of a part that was covered under warranty. If system leaks freon due to a defective part it seems that should also be covered under warranty. As far as I am concerned, their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on unless you feel like paying 40% of the original cost of your unit to cover a part that is under warranty.

Avoid this outfit like the plague if you care about a fair price. They are the epitome of bait and switch. I called to arrange a move out cleaning and described the configuration of the house (3 bedrooms plus family room) and the kind of pet related treatments my lease required (deodorizing plus flea). The guy said we can do that for around $100. I said that was great and made the appointment. Well, when they showed up, the crew rep said the cleaning only would be $125 and the other treatments would total $275. It was the day before I was to move out of state so I didn't have the freedom to kick them out the door. So I wound up paying over $400 for what I've from other professionals should be $200 less. $275 to mix in chemicals? Bah! Also, their equipment was crappy and flooded both my neighbor's and my yard. When I mentioned the major leak at the start of the job, it was hey, no big deal from them. Zero stars would be flattering this ripoff outfit. Update: After all that expense my rental management company kept $190 of my security deposit to have another service remove pet hairs. Ripoff by both services. read more

Avoid this company at all times, I would wash my carpet by hand all day long and not allow those lairs to approach my house, Here is the story, I have contacted this crooks 3 days in row every single day they said they are coming on third day they showed up I moved my car for easy access to my garage and than the black man told me that he is low in gas and he needs to go to gas station to get some gas, 2 min later the poor manager called and told me that we not gonna provide service for you because their employees Saw a naked 2 years old inside my house that's unsafe situation !?!?! The 2 years kid is being putty trained what is this has to do with safe or unsafe situation?!? I was very pleased with the service then. With that being said fast forward a couple weeks ago, I called them up because I was ill and tired of seeing my carpet dirty. When I bought my new home in Pflugerville, All Star cleaning came out and cleaned all of my carpets. They also found the previous owners had covered up animal pee as it was all over the carpets and in the closets! Thankfully All Star was able to purify the carpet and get out those pet stains. There was some red wine stains in the carpet that they weren't able to get out, but I didn't hold any hopes anybody could get that out. I originally called these guys to ask about their groupon and then was told that I didn't need one to get their $65 three room deal. So that was score one, then they had great availability so that was awesome too. I had a 9:00am-12:00pm window and they showed up around 10:20am so I was glad I didn't have to wait that whole time. We just finished remodeling our entire home, had a bunch of companies doing their own work inside our home, some at the same time so you can imagine all sorts of mess, dust and more everywhere. Employed the services of All Star Steam Cleaning today & my overall experience was excellent. Mom bought me a coupon off living social that included cleaning 3 bedrooms. After my last roommate spilled san gria all over my carpets, I realized any attempts on my part would be futile, unless I had it professionally cleaned. I found out on Tuesday that I would have Thursday off so I could get my carpets cleaned. I called All Star Steam Cleaning just two days before I wanted it done and it was no problem! Johnny did a wonderful job cleaning carpet in 3 of my room and a large throw rug in my living room. I have a dog and of course had pet order to a degree. My carpet looks great and my house smells refreshed. Great job! They also offer other services which in intend on have them coming back out for duct and dryer vent cleaning. We chose to have our living room and bedroom cleaned, and when I asked for a quote online through their website, I heard back via e-mail the same afternoon. Two days later, we were able to book an available appointment time and we appreciated the 2-4pm window (rather than the 8am-5pm window internet providers give). Even better, we received a text heads-up when they were on their way. Before Roger even rang the doorbell, he had all of the equipment from the S.W.A.T. van unloaded and ready to go! I showed him the rooms we were hoping to clean, and I apologized for the section of carpet in the corner of our bedroom that our dog had destroyed by scratching/digging a "bed". He said, "If you're interested, this is something we could repair in the future- up to you." (we just may do that!) Afterwards, Roger went straight to work and our carpets now look better than when we moved in! We'll absolutely be calling them in the future :)

He came at the desired data and time and worked hard for 7+ hours by hand cleaning the remaining paint off the hardwood floor. He did a great job and we appreciate the hard work. Although this was an unusual job to remove dried on paint, Swat Cleaning researched the appropriate cleaning solution and executed the job. Would not hesitate to hire Swat cleaning for other floor or house cleaning needs.

I ended up choosing Precision Carpet and I have not been disappointed. They have a nice, professional website, they're responsive to email and calls, and they can usually get me booked within a week. We choose the Green Clean because we have birds and they are sensitive to chemicals; this service usually costs more than the standard cleaning, but because the area they are cleaning here is so much smaller than the maximum square footage they cover in the price, they charge me for a standard clean instead. They also only charge me for a bedroom and stairs rather than adding a charge for the closet, again because of the small area. Precision clearly cares more about their customers than they do the money, and I appreciate that. We just had our second clean done and they have always sent very professional and friendly guys for the job. They also always arrive during the 3 hour window and complete the task in a timely manner. We plan to buy a house once our current lease ends (Sept 2017) and will continue to use Precision in our home.

I have berber carpet, which is admittedly difficult to clean, but a good company can handle it and know that you cannot over wet it. When it is over wet and left that way, spots will wick back up. Two guys showed up and were in and out in less than an hour. My carpet looked good for about an hour. I did notice that it seemed overly wet and as the day went on, more and more spots reappeared; even spots that had been removed by my previous guy. Long story short...my carpet wasn't completely dry for three days, and this was with the air turned down low, ceiling fans on and floor fans blowing. When it finally did dry, it looked worse than when before they came. Additionally, they didn't put any plastic squares under any of the legs of my furniture. I had to cut up plastic bags and put it under the legs of my dining table, chairs, etc... I would NEVER use these people again. I notice that they have multiple web pages and names, but it is all the same company, Precision Carpet Care, Round Rock Carpet Cleaning, Austin Carpet Clean... all the same company. Just had my regular guy come out and my carpet looks wonderful again.

The maid arrived on time and started to leave after 90 minutes. I paid extra for windows and baseboards that was not done so the maid came back in and left 25 minutes later after supposedly completing this. I then did a walk through - 1/2 the windows and baseboards were not cleaned, other areas still had dust, mirrors were not cleaned. I did not think I would need to micromanage. I wish I had. So I paid $185 for 2 hours of a maid or $92.50 per hour. My house was not that dirty and for almost $100/hr, I assumed you could eat off the floor by their completion. TERRIBLE. And my name was repeatedly misspelled in their communications and on the invoice. Needless to say, I did not retain their services. RIPOFF.

I had to cajole them and finally they came to address things. They worked for a while and then asked to have a look. It looked great , no visible seams, so we paid them. He asked us to not vacuum or walk on the seams or touch them for a while. When we did, the issue reappeared . It was like there must have been loose carpet fibers in the seams that got sucked up by the vacuum. Hmmm. Now we cannot get a hold of them. I guess they have absolutely no warranty of any kind on their work.
