I am very sorry to have to say Johnnie did not keep his agreement with us when we sent him work. I tried for over 1 year to get him to do his part of the agreement (I sent him many jobs during the freeze back in Feb. 21.) He had many reasons why he couldn't pay our small percentage for sending him referrals and always said he would . But, he never did:( He came highly recommended by a friend who was very disappointed that she had referred him to us. So sad and disappointed to have to write this. But, I can say he got a lot of work from us. Not sure if he ever actually helped them and took our part of the money or if he never showed up to help them. I guess we will never know. read more

UPDATE - VERY NEXT DAY Okay, I am changing this review from one star to five stars. All Star Steam Cleaning sent out two guys the very next morning. Victor R. and Johnathan P. were the crew members. I was skeptical at first - but they more than proved their value to this company. They spent the first 25 minutes treating the carpet, using a black light to check for stains, and even moved some of my furniture out of the way so that they could clean under. They fully answered all of my questions. Victor was extremely polite and hardworking. I checked the work and the carpet looked wonderful. Practically brand new! Johnathan took the time make sure everything under the bird cage was really clean (no bird in the cage - she's outside) and paid close attention to detail every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about these two - and the cleanliness of the carpet. It smelled wonderful!!! I got down close - and it was really clean!!! A big thank you to these guys for a job extremely well done - for paying close attention to detail - and for being wonderfully polite and professional. Owning two businesses of my own - I understand the value of hardworking, detail oriented, friendly employees. These guys exceeded expectations - and I strongly recommend them. - Jennifer FIRST DAY OF CLEANING: First - let me say that the fellow on the phone was very polite and was able to get us scheduled quickly. I was very pleased with his manner and scheduling. Unfortunately, I just now had them out to my house. I was at work, and my brother stepped in to meet them. My old dog had an accident that very morning, so it was urgent they come right out and take care of the stain for me. They assured me they would - and could easily handle pet stains, especially fresh ones like this. I only have two carpeted rooms - and paid the $60 for regular cleaning, plus an extra $80 to have them "pet cleaned and treated". So $140 for two rooms steam cleaned. But they are worse now - not better at all. They arrived at 5:00 - and I made it home right before 5:30 - and they were already gone. I came into the house and it smelled strange. I've had carpets cleaned well many times - I know they process: A company will vacuum if necessary - move smaller items off the carpet - put coffee table, some furniture and end tables on the foam pieces to prevent them from being damaged. NOT THIS PLACE. I have new furniture and antique furniture - and it was all sitting on the wet carpet. Coffee table, end tables, smaller tables, etc... - all sitting on the wet floor. Beginning to worry, I began to inspect. I have an African Grey parrot - keep her area clean - but under and around her cage were little bits of her seed shells and small papers from her chewing paper toys. They didn't bother to steam clean here. I checked my bedroom, where my dog had the accident early this morning. The fresh stains were STILL in the carpet - just as they were when I cleaned the entire area myself this morning. I touched the stains to smell - and they reeked of dog poop!!! I was absolutely stunned. I could have done better with pet solution and a damp towel, rather than paying this company $140. Then, under my bed - not even an inch under - it was bone dry - they didn't bother to clean under there at all - not even eight inches or so. Again, no furniture on risers, either. Chairs, small TV stand, night stand - all sitting on the carpet. There were several pennies on the floor by a lamp, too. So I could tell they didn't even attempt to do a thorough job. It's been two hours - and the house is starting to smell WORSE than before they came to clean. The dog accident smell now permeates the entire house. Unbelievable - I am just amazed at the poor job. Not even sure I want them to come back and fix things - they may make them worse. I'm frustrated and saddened to have had this happen. Wish I would have used the other company I nearly hired. This was a complete disaster - and now I have to hire another company to come out. UPDATE - I called to let them know how upset I was about the service. They answered their phone this evening, around 6:30, which was refreshing. They are scheduled to come out tomorrow afternoon - we set a time that would allow me to be home when they arrive. I will give up update on the service. I'm pleased they were so prompt to remedy the situation. If they do a great job - I will remove this review and add a stellar one. read more

A month in advance I had scheduled another company called Clean 360 to come clean the carpets of our new home we had just closed on the day before. They never showed, never returned my calls. I needed the house cleaned that day because we were moving in a couple of days later. Desperate for a solution, I called Johnny at All Star. He took my call, and was at my house less than two hours later. They did a good job and the price was reasonable. Thanks for helping me out in a pinch and being a good guy. read more

I had them clean my carpets on Friday October 5, 2018. My carpet tech Victor arrived when scheduled, was very personable, and didn't try to hard sell me on extra services. He was VERY fast, he cleaned 3 rooms and the hall in less than 40 minutes. and my only reason for not giving a higher star rating is that it took almost 45 HOURS for my carpet to dry. Victor said it would be totally dry in 5 or 6 hours, and it was still very wet ( as in put a towel on the carpet, step on it, and you have a very wet foot print on the towel.) in a few places, and very damp in other places 8 hours later. I think he went a little fast on the fluid extraction. The carpets are clean , and now ( finally) they are dry. Overall, I am satisfied with their service. Next time, I'll check all of the carpets to see if they need more fluid extraction before the tech leaves. read more

SHOULD BE "1 STAR STEAM CLEANING" Their customer sign off paperwork, in the fine print reads: "...nor will All Star Steam Cleaning be responsible for any damage to fabrics or carpet cleaned or wood and tile cleaned." SOUNDS LIKE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AT THE TOP OF THEIR PRIORITY LIST...RIGHT?!? Any damage that occurs is the CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY??? Whatever happened to taking care of things, and taking responsibility when mistakes are made? The fact that the younger generation in their early 20's aren't capable of taking responsibility for pretty much anything was made abundantly clear by Johnny when he stopped by to "clean" our tile about 2 hrs ago. Grow up, remove the silly diamond earrings, loose the One Direction haircut, be a man and take responsibility for your actions. Johnny, one of the technicians was extremely rude to me and my wife. (to the point of shouting) After trying to up-sell us on their services, they proceeded as quickly as possible to clean the tile and grout in our home. They "cleaned" 300 sq. ft in around 30 mins. Then upon our inspection, we noticed a fair number of broken grout lines and chunks that were missing from the grout. Also, and quite clearly, the grout lines were not cleaned around the baseboard perimeter of the entire tile area. When I pointed this out to Johnny, instead of offering to clean the tile around the baseboards, or even calmly explaining of the possibility of grout being damaged, proceeded to accuse my wife and I of causing damage to our own grout. And insisted that he cleaned around the baseboards... We've lived in this house for nearly 5 years, he's walked around in it for about 25 mins...and wants to tell us that we caused the damage to the grout. Blaming me, because according to him, we didn't note anything on our "walk through." This walk through was not a detailed examination of the tile and ground, but rather, me walking him through the house to point out which rooms HAVE tile. Nothing about the "walk through" had anything to do with existing conditions of the tile or the grout. To top it of, he asked for us to pay taxes for "services performed." I asked him to show me documentation that requires additional payment on top of the groupon which we had purchased and he was unable to do so. Criminals. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY 1 STAR STEAM CLEANING. First off the positives- They did do a good job and were very professional and nice. Johnny is the owner and knows what he is doing. He stretched parts of my carpet and replaced a little section that wasn't covering the tack strip anymore. Then his crew cleaned my carpets (about 2000 sq ft of carpet) and did a great job in a small amount of time. Now the negatives- They did show up 2 hrs late to fix the carpet and 3 hrs late to do the cleaning. Johnny quoted me $175 for the cleaning but then I saw on the van it says 5 rooms for $80 but when I asked about that I was told that apparently I need a paper coupon from a groupon. Then I asked about the advertisement on this very site (Yelp) for 5 rooms for $85 and was told the same thing. So needless to say I was little upset because that was a little misleading. All said and doneI might use them again but I might shop for a better deal. Also a one hour fix for my carpet costs $75... Little steep for cutting some carpet and glueing it down. read more

I bought a coupon deal for 3 rooms for around $100 to get the carpets cleaned because I like to get them cleaned every 6 months and then my cat decided to bring a rat in and kill it on the carpet....leaving a big blood stain in the corner. It was overdue! They gave me a window of 5 hours and arrived about in the middle of the time frame (calling first to let me know they were about 15 min. away). The guy on the phone was Johnny, a young energetic guy who arrived with another young helper. They took a look at what I wanted cleaned and then quickly got to work spraying the areas. They even moved some furniture out of the way to get to the main areas which was nice. My carpet isn't the highest quality and it's acrylic I believe, fairly basic. I think they were in and out in about an hour. An extra 40$ for the stairs. I'm not sure but I think they pour the dirty water into the sewer system. Anyway, the carpet is all fluffed up and most of the stains gone and it dried by the time I got back home. I left some ceiling fans on and it dried without having to open up windows and no smell of it being damp too long. First off - really wish I would have read other people's reviews and saved myself some time and money. I went through the same things listed on here ... -They showed up three hours late. -They tried to say up-sale from $85 to over $250 for tile and grout. -The owner, Johnny, was very rude and unprofessional. - They did a terrible job, damaging the grout, not cleaning all the way up to the baseboards and not bothering to pay attention to detail. -We bought a groupon and the owner told us we needed to pay an additional tax in cash ... weird right?!? I thought so too. If you go through and read the responses to the other reviews you will be able to see what kind of professionalism they practice. "Sorry we flooded your apartment with our machine but next time you call us we will give you 15% off." Or "sorry we didn't do a good job but next time we will give you a discount." Please don't waste your time or money! Pay the extra so you don't have to pay these guys and then someone to do the job right! read more

Well, I bought the infamous "Groupon" deal. I did not buy the $320 deal, all I had was 3 rooms and a small hallway. To clarify - I needed the carpet cleaned because I was selling the house. I made the purchase and when I called them and they heard it was a "groupon", the tone immediately changed to one of indignation. Not a huge deal, I was trying to do this on the "cheap" so.. who cares, right? I did what I needed to do to get the carpet clean for the new buyer. I scheduled 3+ weeks out, so plenty of time. Next week or so, I call back and need to reschedule because the carpet has to be cleaned AFTER I move out and the close date got pushed back till August 7th. So, I asked to schedule for August 10th. the person sounded like I was annoying them. They tell me I am allowed 1 reschedule, period, or the groupon would be void. I am nice and friendly and try to ignore the indignation again. I send the notice to the realtors and lo and behold they reply within minutes that the buyer requested the 14th but they forgot to forward the email to me. I call the company.. they are working, no big deal. I text them thinking it was a cell phone, I got a reply "how may we help you?" I reply how sorry I am.. I just called a little while ago. I understand if you are annoyed... can we reschedule or what?" No reply. I contacted Groupon who promptly refunded the cost of the groupon. I would say that if you plan to purchase a groupon from these folks.. you do so knowing they are going to treat you like you are inferior to a "normal customer". They finally replied with "we can reschedule but it will be $25....on a $55 deal. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Johnny and Irie did a great job at cleaning my SECTIONAL. My dog recently had back surgery and was having trouble clearing his bladder, so he has several accidents in the couch. The guys came and cleaned it and did a pet treatment (to break down the urine). LThey were pleasant polite and efficient. They were also extremely punctual. I would recommend their services to everyone. I would note that you should have a clear and concise conversation about what services you want/need and what size job it is. For instance in my experience I didn't realize that my sofa was not just a sofa but a sectional and that is different. But Johnny helped me clear it up and gave me a reasonable price! read more

All Star always does a great job, the carpets smell great after they clean and with our tile the tile and grout looked brand new, like the day we moved into the house. We tried another service last time we got our carpets cleaned because of a Groupon deal, a few hours after they cleaned and the carpets dried I noticed the problem areas still smelled like dog urine, we will never trust another service again. WARNING !!! I PAID CASH AND NOW I CANT GET MY MONEY BACK. i would have stopped payment on check or called credit card co. to stop payment. i've cleaned my own carpets before and done a way better job. i knew i was in trouble when i made the appointment, marked the date on my calender moved allll my stuff out of the bedroom, only to have johnny get the dates mixed up and make me wait an entire week living in chaos with my entire bedroom crammed into my living room. even though i noticed dark spots on carpet, i just thought it was still wet, i thanked him and said good bye. after it dried i went to look at the carpet it still looked really dark in a lot of the area. turns out its DIRT. not wet carpet, not stains,DIRT .he and his friend did a really REALLY shabby job. im not kidding you would do better to save your money and clean your carpets yourself, or spend your money on a business that will do a better job. on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being best i give them a 2. MAYBE they will contact me and try to right their wrong but .... i doubt it. ill let you know.
