I came in for an oil change and right before I went my car was slow to start, when I got to Allstate transmissions , I told them that. I also said it only happened once. They didn't experience any problems with turning it off and on but tried to tell me I needed a new starter and quoted me $1225. I called my dealership and they quoted me $1146. When I actually took my car in, the dealership said I didn't need a new starter, my starter was fine. Instead they replace my coolant valve, which was under warranty. In addition, they almost would not honor the coupon I brought in. First they said it was old, I explained I received it a week or two ago in the mail. Then they said my car took a special kind of oil and pointed to the fine print. They tried to only take $20 off of a $125 dollar bill, the coupon was for $59.99. After having an aggressive and tense conversation with the manager regarding the fact that this should have been stated at the beginning when I showed them coupon, he begrudgingly honored it and stated this would be the fist and only time he would honor it! We agreed on that because I will never be back!!!
