You call the place all that Broadway, cause for two and half hours they performed nothing but Broadway Show Tunes to packed house. The service was fast, the food came out hot, and the desert was Carrot Cake part of the package for dinner. I ordered Louisiana Creole with pasta, thinking it would spicy, and it wasn't, sorry to say. The wife ordered Chicken Parmigiana with pasta, no complaints from her, both arrived steaming hot. The performances were outstanding each and every singer pitch perfect, and if you were into Broadway you would know the tunes. This little restaurant and music venue is tucked away on a mall-plaza, lots of parking places, and opens only On weekends: Thursday-fridays- Saturdays. Owned and personally tended to by the local owners, it is mainly a music venue with food: they always have a show , live music, sometimes bands and sometimes special shows going on.. The show side is awesome! It is great to have a local venue that supports artists and in doing so makes for a very entertaining evening out! The food side is just okay. The food is a bit bland, nothing spectacular- served cheerfully although sometimes slowly, specially considering that there are few menu choices and the restaurant is small. But we didn't care: we were there for the show, supporting local talent, so we had a happy evening. It did bother me a bit when they (the owner making sure patrons were ok) talked during the "showtime" moments, sometimes loudly, so the "service conversations " interrupted our enjoyment of the performances- (did you want another beer? No? Oh yes it's on its way- ha ha ha- no it's ok... Omg can you use an inside voice? Am I being too sensitive? I have been in restaurants with shows and the staff tries to be very unobtrusive while the performances are going on... ) In all: a fun evening supporting local artist : go there for the Fun in it!! Love this place so much we came back to celebrate ANNIVERSARY... Great spot for an intimate, romantic evening. Came here for my boyfriends birthday as he loves jazz music. We drove from St. Petersburg to have a change of scenery and glad we found this gem. The live music is fantastic, food was amazing, and the owner Dave was a good host. My bf and I eat gluten free and Dave was able to accommodate us, which was great! My boyfriend ordered the jambalaya and I ordered the Caribbean sauce gf pasta with shrimp. The food was delicious and couldn't ask for better service than what we received. Great decor and the music was just amazing. My husband loved that they had AmberBock on draft. The pictures don't really do this place justice. I decided to go the other day because I was looking to try something new. I was blown away to say the least. The live music was incredible (didn't realize I would love it that much). The food was amazing and felt really authentic/home-cooked (we got Jambalaya and Grandma's Shrimp). Our server, Seth, provided excellent service and went above and beyond all night. I had an excellent conversation with the owner Dave about how the restaurant started and how happy he was to see the younger crowd there. Feels like a family owned business should and I felt right at home! It's truly a gem in the town of Sunrise and I encourage you all to give it a look. The service was both attentive and personal from the moment we walked in the door till we walked out the door. Absolutely amazing! My wife and I dropped off the kiddos at bowling and we were looking for something different and found this hidden gem. I called Ester who is a spitfire with a great personality and we were on our way. We ordered the shrimp and calamari Louisiana style, then the jambalaya and for dessert the bread pudding. All three dishes were superb. The jazz band was awesome and played steadily throughout the night. We will be back for sure ASAP. I went here one evening with some friends. We were hoping to hear some live music and have drinks. From the minute we walked in the whole place felt hostile. We waited waaay too long for someone to come over to us. I explained that we wanted a table even though we could clearly see that there were empty tables. The maitre de said they had no tables. I asked if we could wait at the bar and the guy said "No, not unless you have a reservation". It was RIDICULOUS! They were so rude. It's not like we were a biker gang, we were six older people! Wow, I could get used to that! The owners are very involved in every operation of this facility. One cooked, one played base, one came and checked on our table and chatted with other customers. The family that keeps this lively place movin' and groovin' aren't just friendly, they are damn good at what they do! Food- Home-cooked heaven! I cook a lot at home, and I know what it tastes like when someone puts love and thought into a dish. My jambalaya wasn't concocted by an assembly line of young punks eager to get off work. No, this jambalaya was crafted my hands that are blessed. My partner and I were scraping rice remains off the plate. A must must order! Take note, All That Jazz NOW HAS A FULL BAR. One of the owners kept the cocktails going and if you chose to sit at the bar, you have a great view of the stage. I also recommend saving room for dessert because the brownie explosion was not spared from our forks either. Eating a warm fudgy brownie with cream and chocolate with a jazz band playing in the background, now how else do you want to spend your night? Service- Immaculate service with a smile. We got to meet the chef, another server, heck, I think some of those chummy customers came to check on our table! lol. This place exceeded my expectations and was just what I was looking for in a jazz lounge. I have been searching for months now for a place that serves good while listening to live jazz music. There isn't many places like this and I think it makes it all the more special. All the staff was incredibly welcoming, especially Jay who was our waiter and made the experience even better. He gave solid recommendations and was extremely attentive. My partner got the create your own pasta with penne pasta, meatballs, and puttanesca sauce. She loved it. I got the create your pasta as well but instead of pasta, I got rice, with chicken, and Caribbean creole sauce. The sauce was delicious, had such a great flavor and a kick of spice that still allowed me to enjoy the flavor without being so overwhelming. And last but certainly not least, the music was everything I hoped it would be. I love jazz and to be able to experience a band playing live with such passion and rhythm. We were here back in April but never yelped about it. We had guests from out of the country who loved jazz music & I happened upon this place. We had a good experience then & the same today. This time we brought our friends. They were leery about where we were taking them because we never told them where we were going as we wanted to surprise them. I had the Jambalaya which had shrimp, scallops, sliced grilled chicken breast, Andouille sausage with rice. The Jambalaya was delicious with a little bit of heat. My husband had the Gumbo which had chicken, shrimp, Andouille sausage with rice. My husband loved his meal. Our friends also had the Gumbo and the Create Your Own Pasta Shrimp entree with the pesto sauce which was made with fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts & parmesan. Our friends polished off their plates. My husband & I saved some room for the bread pudding which is a must have if you come to this restaurant. It's a huge piece which is served with ice cream & homemade whipped cream & is enough for 2 (or even 4) to share. We ordered 2 so that our friends could have their own. As much as they didn't want it (because they were so full), they cleaned the whole plate! This place has a jazz band that starts playing around 6:30 pm. Sometimes they have theme nights or guest performers. They say that you don't need reservations but I suggest that you make reservations otherwise you may end up waiting for a long time. If you just want to listen to the band, they charge a small fee. This is a family owned business. The mom is the hostess and one of the sons, Michael, is the pastry chef & bass player. The other son, Dave, looks like he runs the house & Dave's wife is the chef. You can tell that everything is homemade. This is a unique bar and restaurant because they have a live band for most days of the week. We went in on Saturday around 7 and it was pretty packed. The band that was playing was a jazz band and they were uberly talented. There was a singer who played the saxophone and flute, a pianist, a bassist, and a drummer. They only served wine, beer, and daiquiris. The daiquiri was pretty weak my friend said. I ordered a glass of house merlot with my dinner. I had the penne with vodka sauce and three meatballs. The food tasted pretty good and from scratch. Our waiter was eclectic and weird but friendly; we couldn't tell if he was rude or just a weirdo, he was loud and sarcastic. The drinks came out quick but the food came out kind of slow. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed my overall experience. I had their special soup of the day as an appetizer; it had white beans and tomato in tomato purée, it was actually really good and vegan. I can see this being a great spot to take a romantic date or have a girls night out. They also have blues, 70's, and the Beatles tribute bands play throughout the week. Not too many (if any) restaurants like this around here. I loved the music, and the pasta was delicious. The main reason my wife and I wanted to come here is that we were meeting some friends, and both couples have infant children. Our baby loved the jazz, and it drowned out the sound when he was getting fussy. I had the linguine with olive oil, garlic, and scallops. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the toppings were fantastic. The bread pudding we had for dessert was incredibly tasty! I do have to say that the price was a bit high for the meal. I would assume the cost is meant to also be reflective of the experience, and including the cost of life entertainment. Why did it took me so long to post this review!? I don't have the answer but here is the story; I learned about this place over a year ago while Googling & Yelping for live Jazz. Then early this year a fellow Yelper (Lisa C.) hosted her first UYE in here and when I saw it a knew I must be part of it! That night was memorable, the music was phenomenal, food very good and service super friendly. More recently, on Friday March 17th I returned with my girlfriend and brought 2 bottles of good wine, they charged a corkage fee of $7 per bottle which is great and makes a lot of sense since they don't have any high end wine. This time we ate the New York Strip, mine was plain, medium rare and hers medium with Au Poivre sauce! Both were delicious. The Garlic Bread was another highlight of the place. My main take of this place is the super friendly service, they recognized me just by coming once before, they made every effort to make our night magical and the music, OMG, the music was great. Real Jazz very well played. For all of the above I will keep on coming back to this place every other month despite being a 40 minutes drive from home... read more

I got the create your own pasta using linguine , chicken & shrimp in a vodka-tomato cream sauce. I paired it with their garlic bread with pesto and mozzarella cheese. On Saturday night I hosted my first UYE (unofficial yelp event) here and had a really great time. (Shout out to everyone who rsvp'd and showed up! This is the most important thing to do when you rsvp, especially when a place at the table is reserved for you. Just a little RSVP etiquette). The music was great! I wish I had a little more time just to sit and really take in all that jazz sound but there's always a next time. The musicians were amazingly talented, one of them played with Ray Charles for 16 years. It was a pleasure listening to him share his sound with us. I hope to see him again. If you love jazz I highly checking them out. It's a great way to hear a variety of tunes while enjoying the company of great people. Since they don't have a liquor license it was good to see they allow you to bring your own. The cork cover is $17.50. read more
