From the beginning Reggie & Margarita explained the funeral process to us; answered our questions, emails, and phone calls. They made this experience stress free and our family was able to focus our attention on other matters. The funeral was held at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. If I could give zero stars, I would. My family entrusted All States with my mother's cremation and memorial services, and what should have been handled with dignity turned into an ongoing nightmare. From the start, we made clear arrangements: a primary urn plus several keepsake urns for family, which we even purchased and dropped off ourselves. Despite paying in full and signing paperwork, All States failed to honor our wishes. On the day of my mother's memorial service, we were told "fingers crossed" the keepsakes might arrive in time -- they did not. Over the following weeks, I made repeated calls, left urgent messages, and even visited their Wheat Ridge office twice. Once, I waited 40 minutes only to be told they had "forgotten" to fill the keepsakes. Another time, I arrived during business hours, but no one even showed up to open the office. Calls went unanswered, and promises of management follow-up never happened. Finally, I was told our request was never properly documented by their own staff, and the only "options" offered were unthinkable: move my mother's remains from Fort Logan, wait for another person to die to place her remains in their casket, or go to court. As of weeks later, the keepsake urns still have not been returned to us. The level of negligence, lack of compassion, and refusal to take responsibility is beyond unacceptable. Losing a loved one is already devastating -- no family should have to endure this kind of mishandling and disregard. I strongly caution anyone considering All States: please think twice before trusting them with your loved one. read more

DO NOT USE ALL VETERAN'S FUNERAL AND CREMATION!!! See or ask about Department of Regulatory Agencies case #2021-565. They were suspended from operating or advertising for 30 days for: 1) Improper handling of Personal Property. They stripped the ribbons and medals that my Stepfather earned over a 30+ year military career from his Army Dress Uniform. These were never recovered. They also misinformed my mother that his dress pants were not needed for his funeral in North Dakota, so they removed them from the garment bag. They were wrong as the pants were needed and now unavailable. 2) The improper handling of his remains. They improperly embalmed him and the bag in which he was transported back to West Fargo, ND was filled with fluid and he was in an advanced rotted state. They were extremely rude and offered no condolences, no attempt to rectify the situation when the investigation was started, and absolutely no apology was given. read more

Maura McMillan and the rest of the staff were amazing. They assisted us with our Father's burial and again seven week's later with our Mother's. The attention given to us was beyond expectations. Maura was professional, sympathetic and courteous. When we met with her about Mom's service, Maura remembered details about our meeting for Dad's services; this was a special touch and meant a lot to us during a very difficult time. All Veterans handled every detail throughout the entire process. The cost for each of the services was very reasonable. This is the first loss my immediate family has experienced, and we were dreading the initial meeting to discuss arrangements. Reggie and Margarita, at the Colorado Springs location, were simply amazing.They handled things for us with warmth and compassion. Their ability to take a situation that is devastating, at best, and make it as painless and personal as possible has made all the difference in the world. This is actually for the office in Colorado Springs. My father's funeral was prearranged. When we arrived for our appointment, the Branch Manager, Reggie Barrett, could not have been more unhelpful. We had to play 20 questions to figure out what needed to be done and what our options were. When asked about honors, he hadn't even looked in the folder that was sitting in front of him to know that my father was a 20 year veteran and would be receiving full military honors. We kept looking for the obituary in the local paper and after several days of not appearing, we called the office and the admin said she didn't realize we wanted it submitted. Reggie failed to pass along that piece of information in our 'oh so informative' meeting. He was disgraceful. Can someone please give him a checklist to follow - Starting with 1. Say the following to the family, "I'm sorry for your loss. On behalf of All Veterans, we thank him for his service to his country." 2. Here are the decisions we need to make today... This is how the process works... The viewing in Denver was pretty cheesy, it looked as if somebody brought in their lavender floral bedspread to cover my father's body. Seriously? On a positive note, the Administrator, Margarita Douglas was awesome. She communicated well and got the death certificates right away. read more

Let me tell you about this place. My father passed away on September 6, 2014. He had a heart attack. Due to this being an unexpected death, the life insurance company needs a death certificate before they pay any type of funds. Due to this I had to find a low cost service for my father's planning. I chose All Veterans Burial & Cremation Service in the Westminster area (Wheat Ridge is the "head quarters" of this outfit. Low cost, I certainly can agree, comparably so, for that, I will agree. However, I have learned you get what you pay for. First, during the initial consultation, the lady that was the consultant, while on the face of things was excellent. She definitely could use some "people skills" brush up, but she was relatively fair to deal with. The two issues I had with her were as following. The first was she caused my step-mother to cry on a few different occasions by not choosing her words correctly. I understand completely this happens, heck, it would probably happen to me. This can't be an easy job. However, never apologizing or showing empathy got to me. She has to realize she is dealing with people, who, may have no other option than the service this company is providing, but at least "fake it." Second, while picking out our arrangements, she was on the phone with someone. Not a big deal, but, when you're laughing and joking and having a "grand 'ol time" while a family is in the other room comes across as tacky. The next issue was the "guest book" package we ordered. It looked nice but grammar and punctuation was not proof read. We had the service in Commerce City and not only was it spelt wrong, the "C" on Commerce was not capitalized but the "City" was. I know I have grammar issues but this isn't MY job. The straw that broke the camel's back was part of the service includes a "free" death certificate (all others are at additional cost). They NEVER ordered it. When we contacted them to inquire where the certificate was, we were told we never requested it (we did, I have three witnesses). Besides, who turns down anything free when you're paying $3,000. When we called, we were told that they would "look" into it and contact us back. Well, they never did. After a week we called THEM back and accommodating they were not. We were told, "my mistake" they would not "fix the issue" but for $45 we could get a death certificate NEXT week. Not only that, during the "final viewing" of my father, which occurs in an unmarked building downtown, whomever the crematory specialist is, you could hear him, what sounded like, cleaning the kiln they were going to place my father in. NOT A MEMORY you want to have. Metal scraping against metal, yeah, awesome. There were other issues with the final viewing cosmetically, but they are too graphic to post (and you thought the cleaning the kiln was bad). So this is my experience, if you can afford it, please take your business elsewhere. You will be glad you did. read more

My father-in-law was not big on contemplating his own final arrangements beyond expressing a few wishes verbally and had even not thought much about setting aside funds. Mom was anticipating over $8,000 in debt with a recommended funeral home in the area, until a church friend spoke of her wonderful experience with All Veterans the previous year at the passing of her father. The initial call to All Veterans brought a huge sigh of relief as the cost would be about a third for our situation. Dad requested his woodworking buddies make him a casket of his own design, and they responded in the time of need with a great outpouring of love. Dad didn't want to have his casket at his memorial service. The professionals in the All Veterans Denver care center went far above and beyond all family expectations in making things just right for the family, and the All Veterans team serving us at Ft. Logan National Cemetery made it all work just as it should without skipping a beat. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family at a time when we needed the support most. Word of mouth is the least we can do, and do it we will. They even gave us a follow up call. And lest I forget, All Veterans "bent over backwards" to cut through red tape and make all of the arrangements at Ft. Logan happen in under a week so family members could travel back to their homes without delay. We so appreciate all you have done! read more
