I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed. The owners are absolutely wonderful and genuinely care about their customers. They were recommended to me when my AC died on the hottest day of the summer, so I cold-called them in a panic. Even though I ultimately needed a full furnace and AC replacement, they temporarily charged my AC for free to get me through the weekend while the new system was ordered. They then overbooked themselves to make sure my installation happened ASAP, which I greatly appreciated. When a small snafu occurred, they handled it immediately and made things righ,t including going above and beyond what I would expect a company to do to make things right. Since then, I've replaced my AC, furnace, and water heater with them, and also had a whole-house humidifier installed. They service my AC and furnace twice a year, and drain my water heater and clean my dryer vents once a year Their Comfort Club membership is absolutely worth the cost for the value and perks alone.
