The nicest people! When I called, Lisa booked an appointment for an overdue maintenance service needed on our septic tank. We spoke 3-4 times before the appointment; she was so thoughtful & kind on the phone each time. It was well worth the wait. Her husband, Ron, and their son were at my house working late to help clean up that hot mess. Truly great guys! Nice to work with a local, family run business. They took such good care of us. We were out of town when the guy staying at our house told us we were having septic issues. Allards was very easy to contact and great with communication. Turned out we had a bit more work to do than just pump, and they worked great with the other company we hired - it was perfect. Avoid like the plague! There' has to be a lot of fake reviews here by friends and family to give this firm a positive rating. Ron was very unfriendly, full of himself, and downright condescending when politely asked very simple questions. My guess is that he had a bad hangover. He was also dishonest on my inspection report. He grossly overcharged for the amount of time onsite as well. I am a soft-spoken man, not prone to arguing. Ron did a lousy job, failed to return phone calls, and left a huge mess in his wake that took me an full hour to clean up. On a positive note, his wife, who answers the phone, is very kind and professional. Ron needs to take some lessons from her!!!! read more

These guys are awesome! We had a tank lid that was really difficult to get to (it was under a new deck built over the lids!) They crawled around, located and excavated the lid, and pumped it all quickly and efficiently. They then discussed the integrity of my septic system (it's 25 years old, and a dishonest company might have recommended costly and unnecessary repairs and/or upgrades). They discussed ways to extend the life of the existing system and said everything looked great. Before having the system pumped, I called 3 services to get rates. Allards was *by far* the cheapest, and I admittedly went with them because of their price expecting some sacrifice in terms of convenience, honesty or quality of work. But I found them to be a great company to work with, they were quick and efficient, and Ron was willing to work around my difficult schedule to get the system pumped. read more

I was having problems with my drain line and was told that I needed my septic tank pumped in order to handle the problem. Ron and his helper came out to my house, helped me locate the lid of my septic tank, and discovered that I really didn't need my septic tank pumped. What I needed was a plumber to come out and snake the waste line. Ron then called a local guy and arranged for him to come out that same day so my line could be snaked -- and they were not going to charge me anything for the service!!!! Talk about ethical! I ended up giving the guy who helped dig/locate my septic lid $20 to show my appreciation. These guys are great![ read more
