I've used Allbritten to clean my AC/Heater and they were great & knowledgeable. Today (New Year's Eve) our heater went out at 1pm. We called them at 2:30pm when I got home from work because their website said no fees for holidays or evenings. I was not expecting too much because it's a holiday and it was late in the afternoon. But they were very nice and agreed to send someone out before 7pm. Mike came out & was all done before 6pm! Wow!!! Wonderful customer service and quality work. I will continue using them! Had an emergency Friday night and I contacted Allbritten after searching for a company that could come out on the weekend. They scheduled me an appointment same day, came out and assessed the situation with my ac which now turned into a plumbing issue, thankfully they were able to have a plumber come out Sunday afternoon to inspect and fix the problem. Our heater went out last night, Feb 15, so called Allbritten this am as they helped us in 2015, and they did great work. I was able to get an appointment between 2 and 6. 4:00 they call, the technician is on his way. The technician, Ian, diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes! Explained the issue: the blower in our 30 y/o heater had burned out. He called the office and they actually had the part, but he had to get it. After about 15 minutes, he had replaced the part, and we again had heat! Ian was not only knowledgeable and efficient, but great conversationalist, polite, and friendly. My AC stopped working completely. It's almost 100 in my house and I had to make arrangements for my young kids and pets to be moved the week school starts. Allbritten claims to be 24 hours a day yet they are booked through Monday. She refused to tell me on the phone if they actually had an appointment at 2 or 3 AM today since they are 24 hours. This is false advertising at its best. That is my only complaint since I don't know the quality of their work. I am young enough to handle it however, this could have been a medical emergency and they don't prioritize or account for this. Their "maintenance" appointments should be pushed. read more

I called Allbritten for my annual AC Tune up having used them a few times in the past. The company that I had been using to service my AC for the past 10 years had recently in the last couple of yearsbeen flaking out; not showing up, late, etc. I am so glad I called Allbritten! They were so nice from the initial phone call to the service appointment. They gave me a 2 hour window for my appointment and had a great price of you purchase both the AC and future furnace tune up. As promised, they called me 20 minutes ahead to let me know the tech was on his way. Very nice man, professional and explained what he would be doing and why he was doing it. Monday 08/17/2020 - In the San Joaquin Valley, Fresno, we are in the middle of a heatwave and my A/C goes out. After hearing the adds and looking at the good reviews I decided to get ahead of any problems and get my air conditioner serviced. The unit was working fine but I thought I was being smart and getting it serviced would keep me from having problems. Great customer service and they came out and I paid the $180+. They found a couple issues with it and we paid $500+ to get it fixed. Three weeks later the unit stopped producing cold air and we had them out a third time. They found a leak in our hose and the Freon was gone which cost me another $178+ for the nitrogen test to find the leak. They gave me an estimate of $1200+ to fix the line or $12500 to replace the unit. Now all of this might be legit and I might have bad karma but I did switch to another company and I am saving quite a bit of money. read more

We had our furnace blown out by the mono winds and we're not sure why the heater wouldn't kick on and the fan was only running. I would bypass This company . Had a gentleman come out to fix my heater from intermittently turning off and blowing cold air and to install new dampers. 1300 dollars later I was told the problem was fixed . Now ten days later my heater is back to turning off so I called for them to come out again ... now apparently it's advised to just get a whole new furnace , I just bought a new AC condenser to which the salesman told me I should sell on EBay because it's crap .. all because it's not the one brand they try to sell you, which is Carrier. When I wrote to customer service he explained I am having a "separate" issue . Nope not a separate issue , the same issue that his first tech should have fixed and didn't. I had heard that allbritten was expensive but was ok with that to get quality work , turns out they are just expensive . Now Dave has to discuss with the two technicians to see if a refund will be granted . Had Allbritten out for a diagnostic. AC was blowing 'cool' not cold any longer and not getting house cooked off at all. 100+ outside everyday and inside temp kept climbing. Ian arrived. Checked a few things. Outlined what the diagnostic fee was and that any repairs would be additional (as was described by phone scheduler when appointment was made.) Asked where best to access AC unit and went to work. Not sure normal time involved for a diagnostic but Ian was VERY thorough. Seemed he ran through dang near everything that could cause the issue up there. Came back and told us what he thought the case was and that we should need a repair at this time. Gave some tips to ease the stress on machine. Let us know age of unit and what the next few years might look like repair wise as it is older but said aside from the $59 diagnostic fee, everything looks good for today. Air back blowing (pregnant wife happy!) and only out the quoted fee (I'm happy!) Ian even swapped in a less restrictive air filter as our return duct is undersized for the unit to hopefully ease its stress! Talk about service. I would certainly recommend Allbritten if you have AC issues in the area and ask for Ian! Made an appointment to have my dead furnace fixed or replaced. No one showed up or called to inform Me the appointment would be canceled. Had to call another company to look at my furnace. So I ended replacing my ac and furnace system since they were over 20 years old. They were very nice in the phone but their appointment process needs some fine tuning. Based on their reviews they seem to be a good company but they lost my business, having 30 degree nights and the wife wanting the furnace fixed or replaced are not fun. For the past week. I had a leak running under my washer and dryer(it wasn't a huge leak at first) and also this running water noise too. I thought it was my machines. So I called LG to have someone look at them. They sent a guy from sears. Who was the nice guy as well. Very patient with me. Especially when I was stressing out. He told me it was my pipes that were leaking. When we got our baseboard on , when we were redoing our floors. A nail went through a pipe over time it caused that running water noise and the water leak. The sears guy turned our water off and said to call a Plummer ASAP. I was so stressed out. I didn't know who to call or what to do. He recommend Allbritten. So Yesterday on 6/17/2019. I called Allbritten to send a Plummer before our house flooded out. Within 30 mins they sent JUAN C. Juan C was the nicest, and most professional guy I have ever met. He also put covers over his shoes each time he walked into my house. Little things like that. I appreciate. So he quickly diagnosed everything and gave me a final price. He also made sure he didn't cut a big hole in my wall. He cut a really small neat square. He fixed my pipe and turned my water on with 30 minutes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLBRITTEN. Ask for Juan C. He is seriously the best! If I need any Plummer service. The fan quit working on our newer split HVAC unit. I am a qualified do-it-yourselfer and quickly learned that it was either my fan motor or the main board that went out. I decided to call Allbritten because I lacked the proper diagnostic tools and expertise and I was busy with my own job. They sent a journeyman (seemed very young) serviceman who told me, after 10 minutes, that it would be around $1800 for the repair. I asked him why and he said that I need a new fan motor and main board! I told him that that was not an expert diagnosis, because, of course you can replace everything that it CAN be to fix the problem. He charged me $80 for the lack of service call. So, on the weekend, I took to Google and Youtube and learned that it was common (and widely-known) for these ecm-motor air handlers to burn transistors. I found and bought a transistor for !!28 cents!!! and the unit has been fine ever since. I called Allbritten and they wouldn't give me my $80 bucks back. Lessons learned. read more
