The uprising is pretty much a tequila sunrise lol the only difference is they added whipped cream on top.For appetizers we order the sweet and hot wings with the bone(they have a boneless option as well). As well as the bacalaitos. For the entrees we order the surf and turf (lobster tail )mofongo with garlic sauce ugh just amazing. The other entree was white rice beans and toastones with churrasco . I was so taken back by the taste of this steak. I offered my daughter a piece and when she ate it she burst my bubble and said she could tell it wasn't real. It's about an hour and a half from my house, which makes it a really convenient spot for bigger shows without having to go all the way into a major city. The venue itself is well organized and the staff always do a good job keeping things running smoothly. I've always felt safe here, even when the crowd gets packed for sold out shows. Depending on the event, the setup can be seated or general admission, which keeps it flexible for different types of performances. Normally the acoustics are really good, although at the most recent show they were a little bit off compared to what I've experienced before. Ticket prices are pretty average overall not cheap, but not outrageous either for the artists they bring in. Overall, it's a great venue with a consistently good lineup, and I'll definitely keep coming back for shows here.

The tall dork in headphones is the one who calls the shots. He signals to the other event staff who he wants to throw out that night. They don't care who you are, but they do seem to target a certain type. We witnessed this many times, but always thought they were doing something wrong. NOPE! They are just looking for their bread & butter, and greasing the palms of Bethlehem's law system. You will get a nice sized citation in the mail with no way to fight it. By the time this "experience" is over, you've probably wasted $1000 of your hard-earned cash. Wind Creek and the Event Center are protected under the Patriot Act, where they can assault you and toss you out without any questions. The Bethlehem Police do not care, nor will they ask you any questions, because they are in cahoots with each other! Save yourself the money and trouble, and go anywhere else. The State Theater, Sherman, and so many others actually value your patronage and will treat you with respect. Wind Creek Event Center needs to shut down; they should be sued for running their scam on paying customers.
