So in complete honesty, I wasn't even looking for a brewery. I was 2 doors down getting a complimentary facial and the smell of pizza caught my nose. So I followed my nose to this place and boy was I happy I did. I didn't try any of the beers but I tried all of the ciders (cans only). They were awesome so I even to some home to share. Like 16 for a 4 pack but you can mix and match. The pizza was brick oven and very crispy just the way I like it. Pepperoni and margarita all day. The place was so cool and they had live music( it was on a sat). The bartender was so friendly and attentive even though I told her I was only there for a quick drink. My family and I decided to try this spot out after we were told it was over an hour wait to go to the Cheesecake Factory. We were able to be seated right away, service was nice but it looked like there was only one waitress. The atomosphere is nice and they even have outdoor seating but it was a little too cold for us to sit outside. My husband ordered the IPA Wally Wilson and said it was okay, but he wouldn't get again. I ordered the red sangria, I definitely wouldn't recommend that, it tasted like box wine over ice and that's it. As for our pizzas, they were amazing! We got margarita pizzas and the PBC pizza. The Capricciosa pizza was delicious. Beautiful flavors blended perfectly on a thin crust. Cooked perfectly for my taste. I don't particularly like my pizza over cooked. Crust was golden brown not black. Perfect! Was extremely happy with my Burrata Caprese Salad. So fresh and chilled to perfection. Just the right amount of balsamic dressing drizzled on top. The burrata cheese was out of this world. So fresh. I couldn't get enough. Loved the touch of artichoke in the salad. I'm not a fan of artichoke...but this I LOVED in my salad. Nothing goes better than brick oven pizza and cold beers. Pocono brewing checked both boxes and I would highly recommend taking a break from your mall shopping to stop in. The staff was great, the bartender was full of suggestions on beers and food. They had a variety of house beers along with several guest beers. The pizza menu is extensive and both pizzas we had were delicious. During our visit we caught the end of some live music which was great, so overall I highly recommend Pocono Brewing. read more

Friendly staff, they present you patiently with wide variety of options. They have peanut butter beer that gives a very nice flavor when you gulp it, I liked it the best since i do not like beer being too bitter.. Pizzas can definitely get a lot better, with more toppings. . especially the white one which we ordered had scarce amount of toppings.. both my pizzas were supposed to have garlic in it but I barely got any garlic flavor. .n there was very less or no salt.. I've been a couple times. My first visit was good and I've given it multiple tries but it just seems to be declining. Food overall is good. Love the cook on the pizza though the red sauce can be a little sweet. Nachos are a different take with alfredo sauce and crumbled cheese instead of the typical shredded or nacho cheese. Pretty good just wish they were served warmer. The burrata caprese salad is pretty good. I just wish it had a creamier smooth center. And you can't go wrong with a Bavarian pretzel to go with some beer. This last visit.. I went with my husband and it was my first time sitting at a table instead of the bar since it wasn't busy. Which turned out to be a mistake. The food came out at a good place, but it was someone other than our server bringing it out. Our server never checked in on our food. We had to ask the hostess for a box. My husband and I both finished our beer and set our empty glasses to the side. We waited for our server for 20 minutes. Once we were done with our food and our second round we waited for the check for 15 minutes until going up and asking the hostess for our check. The staff went to the back a good amount. And there was one handicapped lady and another with a walker - both struggling entering and no one was around. The one eventually received help from one of the staff while the other's elderly husband finally managed the door. Next to us there ended up being a party of 10 sharing 4 tables. Between the two of us, we needed 2 tables due to everything being served on a pizza paddle/peel. I attempted to offer one of our tables while we waited for the check but the group didn't hear me. Once an 11th person arrived they asked the server if they could add another table. We then proceeded to hear our server basically blame us for taking too long. As soon as we were seated there was staff organizing the tables next to us for the reservation. When we were seated we stated we had no preference (besides not the one window table bathed in sun) where we sat so they could have easily moved us. It was a negative experience to say the least and if I was to ever return it would be for takeout only. The pizza cook is great. read more

I would recommend only ordering pizza from the menu. It seems it would be the only thing fresh. (They have a pizza oven) We ordered a caesar salad with chicken and the chicken was not freshly prepared. It was precooked and heated in the microwave. (Totally dry.) Dressing tastes like Kraft brand. The salad including chicken was $19. For the prices they are charging, food quality is way below standards!!! My wife had a sangria but tasted like sugar water. The structure of the restaurant is beautiful but service and food preparation as well as quality leaves a lot to be desired. Whoever owns this chain should seriously look at elevating the food and drink quality to match the picturesque nature of the restaurant itself. Most likely won't return. read more

Loved coming here when I visited PA! Josie was my server and absolutely incredible--so warm, professional, and accommodating; I have a ton of food sensitivities, and she and the kitchen made it easy to find something I could eat while making all the necessary substitutions/omissions so I didn't have to worry about possible reactions! The salad they put together for me was very fresh and fun to eat! The space is clean and the ambiance feels open and inviting. I look forward to stopping in again when I'm back in town, hopefully with fewer food sensitivities so I can try so many things on the menu that looked great! read more

I'm in town for a business and decided to stop on in. Best decision I've made. This place is super clean and has a lid back environment. Staff is friendly and patient. I couldn't decide which beer and pizza I wanted but the server was very patient and offered suggestions. As far as selection, the menu is daily short and simple. Fire oven pizza and salads. I'm surprised by the reviews slamming the menu here, because my friends and I ordered a ton of food and loved all of it. The nachos were a little underwhelming, but the giant pretzel (a special) was incredible and the pizza was delicious. With the heavy toppings, the pizza does get soggy quickly, so maybe order accordingly. We had the peanut butter pie for dessert, and it was like a giant peanut butter cup. It was great. My criticism of the restaurant has to do with the size and ambiance. First of all, I called 30 minutes ahead to get us on the list since we had a group of 6. They don't take reservations but do allow you to call ahead. When we arrived, we still waited over an hour to be seated. When people come to a taproom, they generally want to eat and hang out and drink, so the table turnover isn't as high as a regular restaurant. I don't think the staff were properly prepared for this. They brought us some complimentary beer tasters, but it didn't make up for the long wait. In addition, there was a musician playing in the corner and a very loud crowd, so it was difficult to converse with my friends. The beer itself was pretty okay. I'm surprised to find the lower reviews here. I had a good time with my visit. I didn't have a lot of time because I was killing time before going to a show, but I honestly wanted to order more and probably would have if I had the time. I will concede that the food menu is not particularly diverse - it's just pizza and some burgers and some beer. But do you really need much else? Pizza and beer are made for each other. I thought the pizza was excellent and the beer selection is fairly wide and you'll surely find a good pairing for your pizza or burger. Even the glasses they use are perfect for swirling and aerating your beer for your tasting enjoyment. The atmosphere is good. There was a live band playing while I was there, it was a folk arrangement with guitar and simple percussion with vocals. I'm thrilled by the idea of returning and spending some more time trying everything and listening to acoustic covers. If you're not in the mood for this simple pub fare then that's at your discretion. But it's my opinion that they had a vision for this place and they stuck to that vision with no additional frills and they executed what they set out to do well. read more

Came out today for a date day of shopping and grabbing some bites. Got a red and white pizza. Only remember the white as Bianca, don't remember the red. Pizzas were wonderful. So thin but still firm, and the greatest flavoring ;). We also got the buffalo chicken nachos, these were an absolute game changer. I would say they're the BEST NACHOS IN THE VALLEY! If you only do one thing, pizza, it had better be done well. Sadly, they just don't. For woodfired crust, it was limp. The red sauce didn't leave an impression. The rest of the toppings, well, they weren't memorable either. I would like to go back for the beer, but they have such a limited appetizer list as to not really make that appealing. Worst waste of money ever! My wife and I love to go out and try new restaurants- days later and I'm still extremely bitter that I wasted 50 bucks here. DONT WASTE A PENNY HERE. Do not go here expecting a large selection of food - it is salads or wood fired pizza with 2 appetizer options (oh yeah and a $10 pretzel). The beer was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The biggest issue was the staff. My wife left the table to go shopping at the mall. It's A great place to come and grab a meal or snack, they have a variety of wood fired pizzas and pretzels I recommend their margarita pizza it was great. If it's your first time like mine was I would recommend the beer flight that way you can find a beer you like and then get your self a glass. read more

Given this place a handful of tries. Every time the staff has not been very friendly. Watched a bartender yell at customers trying to come in because they were close to closing. We did like the beer, but the food is subpar. We did not try the pizza which from other reviews seems to be the thing to get. Low quality ingredients make low quality dishes. I imagine this place is still here because of the mall volume, but would not recommend this place. read more
