Candi and Shamus have consistently jumped through hoops for me to provide great product at pricing I could fit into my budget- or my client's budgets. Their installers are educated and follow the manufacturer guidelines for install - which is hugely important as to not void any warranty. This last project they helped me with required same day delivery and unload. 2 of their managers took the time to follow the delivery truck and unload my flooring! If you're looking for great products and service, I recommend Into The Woods. Shamus is also a GA Licensed Contractor so he is a wealth of information. I highly recommend and am grateful for their support.

If you value your time, money, home, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The work on our floors and dry wall required multiple return visits. After the second flooring visit, we told them the floor was still uneven and that the vinyl continued to pop up. On the third visit, a team member stepped on the area that was popping up and said, "There's nothing wrong!" After we insisted they open the floor, we discovered that cardboard packaging from the vinyl floor boards had been used underneath the floor to address the leveling issue... When we finally thought the flooring was finished, another problem surfaced. The trim at the top of our staircase that had been installed only about two weeks earlier came loose, and I fell down the stairs as a result. We then discovered that our replacement dry wall was visibly uneven and not flush with the existing wall. Even after their team came back to work on it, the transition was still not flush, if not worse! Regardless of whether subcontractors were involved, we hired Into The Woods to ensure the work was completed properly and ultimately hold them responsible. On top of having to repeatedly identify problems that should have been caught through proper supervision and quality control, the most frustrating part has been communicating with Into the Woods direct team members, especially their owner, Shamus. We constantly felt like our concerns were minimized and dismissed. Even if the work had been perfect, the interactions with the company throughout this entire process made us wish we never signed anything with them. *Additional Review After Owner's Response* Unfortunately, Shamus' response to my review is itself a reflection of our experience with Into The Woods. Throughout the project, our concerns were repeatedly reframed rather than addressed. We were reassured that issues would be taken care of, only to find them unresolved on subsequent visits. When we continued to speak up, we often felt our words were misconstrued, our concerns minimized, and the burden shifted back onto us. The response emphasizes that the company made 7-8 return visits. But the number of visits does not mean the work was properly completed. In fact, having to repeatedly request corrections is exactly what made this experience so frustrating. Many of those visits were to address warranty or punch-list issues that should have been resolved as part of completing the original work. I also want to correct the characterization of the financial accommodations. The nearly $10,000 shortfall was not covered by Into The Woods as a "good-faith discount." The remediation company that referred us to Into The Woods chose to cover the additional costs after we shared our negative experience with Into the Woods. They asked Into The Woods to go above and beyond to restore our home, and we are genuinely grateful to the remediation company for stepping in to help make things right. Separately, Shamus offered us a $1,000 "gesture of goodwill," which we declined. This offer came after we discovered cardboard packaging from the flooring underneath our floor. The stair-nose explanation in the response is particularly frustrating. The response leaves out the fact that approximately two weeks had passed since its installation. When the stair nose came loose, we photographed the underside and found a substantial amount of adhesive that appeared not to have properly bonded. The company subsequently returned to repair it. We don't expect construction to be completely free of problems. We do expect a contractor to listen to concerns, supervise the work, communicate accurately, and make sure problems are actually resolved. This experience cost us an enormous amount of time, frustration, and peace of mind. After everything we've experienced, we would not hire Into The Woods again, and we hope prospective customers consider our experience before making their decision.

Words can not adequately express my appreciation for and satisfaction with this family-owned business and the level of service they provided. Owner Virginia responded to my inquiry/request within minutes of submittal to discuss a flooring project at my mother's home. The following day she visited my mother at her house with samples and an abundance of advice on new carpet and lvp flooring. I had also hired a painted for my mother's home at the same time which turned out to be a disaster. It wasn't until Virginia met with mom that I realized Wilson Flooring handles painting projects as well. WHAT A RELIEF!! Virginia and team coordinated the take over of the painting project, as well as carpet removal and install, ceramic tile demo and install of lvp flooring throughout the home. Virginia remained in constant communication with myself and my mother as I live out of town and could not be physically present. Virginia went out of her way to ensure that my mother and I felt at ease and that I remained aware of all that was taking place. The quality of work is impeccable, and moms' home has been completely transformed. More so, Virginia treated my mother as family and as if she was her most important customer. Countless trips to moms' home to check in on progress, trips personally to the paint store to ensure paint colors matched... what business owner does that? If in the market for flooring, painting, counter tops... Please do yourself a favor and consult with Wilson Flooring Pros You will not be disappointed, and like me, will continue to use them for all projects in the future. Thank you Virginia and Wilson Flooring Pros for a job perfectly done

I recently reached out to Darren about converting our guest bathroom tub/shower combo to a walk-in shower, this was on Saturday, May 4, 2024. I was asking if it would be possible to have it completed by May 13, 2024. Darren assured me that he could make it happen! I initially thought about doing a fiberglass surround but after my consultation with Darren, he explained that tile would add property value. My main concern was that it is difficult to keep grout clean, as I've had a tile shower before. He advised that they do smaller grout lines which would make it easier for cleaning and keeping clean. We went over the need for a built-in bench and tall glass doors because my husband is 6' 4". Darren provided me with samples of tiles and suggested an insert for shampoo bottles and such, as well as upgrading our "builder grade" shower head. We picked out the tile design and colors and it was on. Darren reached out to me on the following Tuesday and had the demo team at my home by Wednesday morning! I can't say enough good things about his team! The tile guy and the plumber were extremely knowledgeable and assured me that all my needs/wants that I discussed with Darren in our initial meeting were understood and would be executed as such. Both of the crews that came out made sure to clean up the debris before leaving for the day. We ran into an issue with my existing wall, which was not straight. The tile guy showed me and explained that it would require him to tear down some drywall and create a new frame so that the tile would sit flush. As the tile guy (Beto) explained, he doesn't just do a job to be doing it, he has a reputation and will only do the job the right way. This reassured me that the job would be done correctly and I would be satisfied with the outcome. I reached out to Darren a few days later because I noticed something off. Darren had someone come out the same day to make the correction to my satisfaction!! We ended up with not only an awesome experience; but also a BEAUTIFUL quality shower!! I would recommend working with Gemstone Carpet & Flooring for any kind of remodel or renovations that you may have. I'm looking forward to working with Darren again.

This review is to bring awareness and to serve as a warning to those seeking to do any business…read morewith a company called She Floors, LLC. A couple months ago, we contacted Maria (Noemi) Moreno the contractor/owner of She Floors, LLC to do interior house painting and flooring installation, which included high end porcelain tile and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring (that we purchased ourselves). First, the painting was not what we expected. Particularly, for the amount of money we paid. The walls were not prepared prior to paint being applied i.e. nail pops. Instead of repairing the nail pops they painted over them. Instead of removing air duct vents, the painters wanted to paint around them. We constantly had to point out areas that her painters missed. In other words, they were not detailed in their work. We did research to educate ourselves about certain types of paint to be applied in different areas of our home. You get the sense that Noemi didn't like that we asked questions as a result of our research regarding the work to be done. We were told we'd have a particular type of paint (spa paint) applied to the bathrooms and kitchen, but that didn't happen. Noemi suggested using this concentrated liquid (mold resistant) into a 5gal bucket of paint that she said would essentially do the same thing. But, that was an attempt to cut cost for herself. Then her workers caused damage to our window blinds and scratched our new LVP flooring and wouldn't say anything about the damages they caused until we discovered it for ourselves later. And as of this posting the window blinds are still damaged. Keep in mind, we purchased all the materials to install the flooring and paid for labor. So, the flooring that her workers damaged we had to pay for more materials in order for the flooring to be repaired. When confronted with the issue of damages caused by her workers, we were told that the workers were afraid of what Noemi and her husband/worker Carlos would say to them. Noemi expressed how she lost out on money with other jobs because she was doing work for us and how long the job was taking. Hello, aren't we customers too? This company will continue to lose money as long as they continue to treat customers the way we've been treated. First, one of her workers didn't show up for reasons unknown. Then, none of the workers showed up for a couple days, which contributed to the job taking as long as it did. And as of this posting, it's still not complete. And there was no issue with the weather either. My guess is she had her workers on another job site. Noemi then talked about how she miscalculated how much it would cost to do the work. How is that the fault of the customer? Again, more talk of her losing out on money doing work for us. Noemi was not concerned with making things right with us as customers. During our discussions with Noemi, she told us that she would provide shoe molding (quarter round molding) then we get an invoice for the very thing she said that she would provide. Not only did we get an invoice for shoe molding and her U-Haul rental, we received an invoice for everything; I mean every little thing. It was like she was simply trying to run up the tab in order to make up for lost money on other jobs. Noemi is not honest and forthcoming regarding her business practices. We've tried calling Noemi to discuss the incomplete work and she would just block our number, which as you could imagine is so unprofessional. We were just left wondering what was going to be done about the remainder of the work that was not completed (i.e. stairs, floor transitions). Noemi had us order materials for stairs and didn't return to do the work. As a company, if you continue to conduct business in this manner no good will come to you. Two years ago, Noemi did the same on another flooring project we hired her do that required removing a toilet. After the toilet and flooring was installed, the toilet leaked. We tried contacting her regarding the leaking toilet and she blocked our calls then as well. You might be wondering why again? Well, we figured two years has passed so we'd give her another opportunity, but we were wrong. Nothing about how she conducts business has changed. Back then, we ended up having to hire another contractor and spend more money to remove/reset the toilet and install a new wax ring; a new wax ring she's made claims to have installed because she gets wax rings for 50 cents and wouldn't have installed an old one. Well, the new contractor we hired disagreed as the wax ring that was removed and shown to us was in fact an old wax ring. Again, cutting corners at our expense. Don't let our mistake be your mistake. Save yourself the aggravation and hire someone else. We do not and will never recommend her or her company to do any residential/commercial remodeling work. Noemi has not only given herself and her company a bad name, she's also given a bad name to hard working small business owners as well.
