This is husband & wife operated, the wife I don't think ever smiled. Very rude staff & many are not qualified. Don't waste your time!

The last two times I went were an awful experience. My pedicure last week the lady kept yelling at me to relax my big toe, but it was relaxed, I just have some arthritis so it's stiff. Then she told me not to help her out on my flip flop and I didn't but she messed up the big tie anyway and then had the audacity to yell at me saying that she told me not to move and I messed it up?!! Today I was surprised and disgusted again when the man who did my nails was not only rude, but when he hurt me he never said a word, just looked at me, and was totally distant and said almost nothing to me the whole time. Customer service is the key people. There are lots of nail salons and I guarantee o won't be back to this one. I don't give reviews but felt the need to give this one. Poor customer appreciation, and I'm an easy customer. She sad. read more

Allen Nail has a great atmosphere, great music that put me in a relaxed place. You can request a private room for girls day. I can always get my man Ken to do my pedicure so good I would pay for an extra 10 min. He does such a great job I don't want anyone else. Everyone are so nice and sweet. You will not wait long because he always have Techs ready and waiting. He keep it moving. I tell all of my friends to try it out just once and tell me what they think. I can go on and on about Allen Nail but it will take me a long time so i say try it oit and make sure to ask for Ken if you want the best foot massage ever. read more

This is my go-to spot for getting my nex-gen (dipping powder) nails and pedicure. They are always very accommodating to the newest style I want to try and are great with my two young girls when I bring them for a special treat. The place is clean, which is incredibly important to me being a nurse. I have tried other places in the past when I am already out and not near the house but always regret it. I really like this nail salon, I have never had to wait. They have done exactly what I wanted both times I went. They are always asking if you need a drink and they have a rewards program that saves you money. read more

Very nice nail salon! I was able to relax and enjoy a nice pedicure from Ken. The facilities were clean and volume level was perfect. I actually almost fell asleep while getting my pedicure! Lol there are many TV's to watch and enjoy HGTV or cooking shows. I'll definitely be returning to this nail salon! read more

I have been coming to this place off and on - alternating between another nail place close by. It has been a good experience overall all the time. During the last visit which was over the weekend, the technician was very friendly. She took time to make me comfortable and didn't rush thru the pedicure - time kind of slowed down and I felt very relaxed and left with creamy and fluffy feet - and of-course with stunning nails. I believe anyone can do the nails but the relaxation and pampering I got from visiting this place made the experience wonderful. read more

I have been to this salon a few times and loved it because it they were always able to fit me in! The customer service was great and the person doing my pedicure was intentional with getting to know me (and my feet lol). However, I went back a few weeks ago and it was a completely different experience. I got a pedicure again but the woman who did my nails was extremely aggressive- yanking and pulling out the skin on the side of my toenail. Even she commented that it must've hurt... Yes! It did! I ended up getting the worst ingrown toenail I've ever had!! My mom and sister were with me- my sister got an ingrown toenail too and my mom also mentioned that they were very aggressive with her pedicure care. The customer service was lacking too, they didn't talk to the three of us much at all throughout the entire pedicure either. They were so careful and kind when I had first started going there, I'm disappointed because it seemed like a great place. Maybe it was just one bad experience for me that tipped me over the edge. Service was slow and they are super expensive and charge more for a coffin shape. I got them done and they looked great once done but after I left I went shopping and I noticed that my nail was bending and was very flimsy so I had to peel it off and i don't even know if I should go back there and fix it. read more

I went with a friend for a pedicure this weekend. The technicians were very nice and did a great job. However, the man at the front counter was a bit shady. We asked for pedicures and my friend asked for their basic manicure as well. He continually tried to up sell her on a more expensive manicure. She had to firmly state that she wanted the basic. Then, when we were seated in the chairs, we clearly heard the man tell the technician she wanted the more expensive manicure. We quickly corrected him and he just laughed it off. Up selling is one thing, but that was just sneaky. Because of that we will not be going back. But other than him, it was a very nice, clean and friendly place. Just be sure to have your wits about you when you are telling them what you want :) read more

I had been here several times before so I decided to go back again. I got the NexGen, and Kelly did my nails. First, there was no one waiting it wasn't busy at all! She rushed through my nails, didn't clean up my cuticles before she started and when she finished my fingers were covered in the powder and nail polish from the nexgen! I washed my hands several times and it didn't come off! She did a horrible job and I will not go back! They didn't even compensate for the fact that my nails looked terrible and I spoke with the manager! read more

I went here yesterday and at first I hesitate because most nail salons just the money so they rush through everything and do a horrible job when I walked in I was greeted by someone standing by the door not someone sitting and never looking up at you from the nails that they are doing and you not knowing who is talking to you until they point to the place you should go he walked me through the price book everything was so clean and organized everyone was so friendly I got the organic pedicure and manicure with aloe Vera the manicurist came out and so super nice unfortunately she had an appointment and couldn't do my mani but she had a good replacement these wonderful ladies rubbed and scrubbed my hands and feet so well I didn't even want to get up then the massaged my shoulders I have finally found a nail salon that I can trust to do everything and more right I wish I would had gotten their names so I can request them every time I go read more

I am a regular at another nail spa in Allen;however, today I thought I would try this new place. The chairs are great. The atmosphere is calm and lovely. The chandeliers are beautiful. I had the Special pedicure. The girl was good but I am used to a really fabulous massage. I can paint my own toe nails. I go for the massage. She did a good but totally missed one foot. I was shocked when she quit. Overall I think this Is a good place. I will come back at least one more time and let them know I am here for a massage. A really good massage!!!!!! I tip really well if I get a good massage. I came at 1:30 and it wasn't crowded. read more

Made reservations for all of us bridesmaids to get our nails done with the bride the day before her wedding (last weekend). I requested NexGen and a deluxe pedicure (French instead of color). The NexGen and entire manicure was fine, but the pedicure was bad from the get go. The woman made multiple comments about the width of my nail beds, would never speak to me to tell me to put my foot here or there, she would just smack it. Not the little tap a lot of people do, actually smack it. It came time to paint, and she asked what color I wanted. I told her French, and she launched into this whole thing about how my nail beds are too wide for a French pedicure. I've been getting them for over 16 years and this is the first time someone has protested. Then she said she couldn't do it. So she said she would just do a solid color for me, how about black? I told her I didn't really want a solid color, but if that was my only option (after clearly stating at the beginning that I wanted French) I would need to go look at the colors, and it would be a minute, as my manicure was still in process. She kept suggesting black, and said she wouldn't wait. So I told her I would just paint my nails at home. She then said she would do French. I told her I didn't feel comfortable with that since she had already said she didn't want to/couldn't do it. I again just told her I was extremely uncomfortable and I would just paint them at home now. She sat there awkwardly for a few minutes then started cutting my nails shorter and shorter. She continued to grab my foot and tell me she would do the French. I asked her to stop, her coworkers advised her to stop, and she would not. She then told me I HAD to let her do it, and that she would be fired if I told her no. I told her I didn't believe that, and I really didn't want her to do something she expressed she couldn't, only to have to undo and redo it. She was making a huge scene, and now the bride was getting upset that there was this drama. We finally got her to leave, and the gentleman doing my nails said he would finish my pedicure. I told him again that really, I was just very frustrated with the entire experience, and that I had a color I liked just fine at home. He finished my mani and I told him again to please just let me do the paint at home. He sat down and started doing a French pedicure. I appreciate the gesture, but really the experience was already ruined. This is by far the worst looking French I've ever had, and imagine my shock at the bill when they charged me for not only the entire deluxe pedicure, but EXTRA for the French that I repeatedly declined. There was already enough of a scene, and the entire thing had eaten up so much of our time that we were late for our dinner reservations, so I just paid the bill and left. However, you better believe I will be shredding this loyalty card that I had with them and will never return. read more

I had been going here for a couple of months since it was located near my house. The night before my Christmas party, I went in to have my nails filled. The lady that did my nails had no clue what she was doing. It took 3 hours to do a fill (she had to keep filing product off and rebuilding the nail) and the end result was total crap! Nails were crooked, the white was smeared into the pink area, and they were lumpy and uneven. The guy manager came over & looked at my hands & shook his head in total disappointment. He even said they looked terrible and asked me to come back the next day so he could take care of me & he would make sure they were fixed. I come back the next day & when he looked at them, they were so bad he shook his head & decided to soak them off & start over. When it comes time to pay, instead of a reduced price as it should have been for my inconvenience, I was charged for a soak off & a full set of nails. Are you kidding me?? I'm done! I won't be back. I recommend you steer clear of this place!! read more
