When I returned a couple weeks later, a different manager told me the card wasn't valid and that he couldn't help me. I asked if he could please call corporate and he refused. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE They had my van for 2 1/2 Days and when I went to pick up my van I had to wait at the shop because the manager had to go get my van from somewhere else why was my van not at the shop but I took my van in to get a new water pump and timing chain so I get my van back it's doesn't even look like anything was done so I opened the water cap and I see something on the water cap it look shiny like they put something in to for a quick fix so I call the shop and told them I didn't think anything was done to my van so the day after getting my van back I look in the water reservoir and it's like a creamy color it wasn't like that when I took it to this shop and now I have to take it back I don't even want to take it back to this shop I pay $2,100 just to get my van back with oil in my water SMH what do I do now I wouldn't take you car here to have anything done to it read more

four weeks ago I brought my car for an alternator that wasn't working. I purchased an alternator at the AutoZone nearby the area they alternator four weeks later the alternator was faulty be replaced again. I brought it back to the shop to be replaced once they finish installing the alternator again. They told even though I just paid them $300 to install the first alternator and now that the alternator it was faulty they again $250 to replace the alternator but this company is you bring the don't guarantee anything and when something goes then they make you pay again, but no report him to the federal trade agency and a better bussines bureau people off they nowhere on the shop or on the paperwork that is stipulate that if you bring the part from AutoZone that they don't guarantee work so everybody needs to be aware of this if you bring the part from AutoZone other auto place they're not going to make you pay again what you need to be aware of and that's the reason I'm gonna federal trade consumer I hope everybody think before you go to this shop because they're not honest they hide those terms. I've never had a bad experience with Allen Tire. All my cars for the past 19 years have been serviced here. Miguel is top notch in customer service. He can be trusted. One time I had a slow leak in one of the tires on my new car. I brought the car by and told Miguel of the issue. He said no problem, and immediately they fixed it. When I went to pay, he told me "no charge". Wait I told him, I didn't buy these tires here. No problem he said. Now that's customer service, and good will. So where am I now? Getting 4 new tires and an alignment at Allen. That small gesture of kindness by Miguel, ensured future business. As far as cost goes, I don't have to worry about that. I trust these guys. I brought my vehicle here for the first and last time. I brought it to do an oil change and after a three hour wait I was finally able to go home. A week later I noticed that my vehicle was leaking oil. I took it to nearby mechanic and he found a crack in it. I took the vehicle back to Allen's to see what they could do for me after they broke my property. They said there was nothing they could do and I was left with no choice but to pay out of my pocket to fix it myself. I've been going to this Allen tire since I've moved to the area 2 years ago. I've had them mount and dismount tires 3 times, do 3 alignments, rotate tires I've bought at Allen Tires in Lakewood, and balance wheels and tires 4times ... And I've never had issues till the last time I went there. I dropped off my 2014 4runner with a set of tires I bought else where. And had them dismount my old tires, mount and balance the new ones, and then do an alignment. I asked for the first appointment in the morning. And left the car with the Silvano; who opened the store that day ( march 15th, 2018). I instructed him I wanted the non-aggressive side out of the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the outside. Anyone who knows that Nitto; gives you the 2 different side walls... 4hrs later; I came to pick up the 4runner. And saw that the tires wasn't mounted; how I wanted. And told the guy that I left the 4runner with; that he mounted it wrong. And isn't what I instructed him to do... He was very stand off-ish and was pushing that that's how it's suppose to be and it should be mounted that way... I told him; it's not what I paid you for... And reminded him about Nitto's side wall designs. He got flustered and I told him; it's my car and my tires mount them how I wanted them... He then got upset and took my car back and told me it's going to take an hour and half... He mounted my tires and scratched my wheels... I spoke to Miguel Penalver (the manager) about it before paying $229 dollars of shitty service. And he was very stand offish and he said the side walls looked the same... I told myself screw this place and Ill never go here ever again... But that's not all of my problems!!! I drove my 4runner on the freeway when I hit 80mph. The 4runner shook and wobbled soo hard. I made the decision that I would bring my tires to America's Tire to have it re-balanced. After I finally getting time of work... I took it to America's Tire today and paid $80 for a re-balance. They told me that my tires didn't need even half the weight Allen Tires put on!?!?! Stay away from these idiots!!! I felt that this was retaliation in some way. My pregnant wife and kids drives this car more than me. This could have cause my wife harm. Screw this place!!! SCREW Silvano and Miguel!!! This is the place to go if you're looking for a mechanic you can trust. My sisters and I drove nearly 2 hours to pick up a special puppy carrier from a vendor in Riverside during Christmas weekend. On our way back stopped at a red light, the driver next to us rolled down his window and said that one of the tires looked like it was loosing air. Luckily, there was a tire store nearby (Allen Tire) so we pulled in to have it checked. The mechanic who greeted us (Ramon) was very nice and worked fast since we had a long drive ahead and wanted to get back before sundown. He checked the pressure on all 4 tires, put in air where needed and advised that we have the worse one checked for nail damage. He did find a nail and of course we wanted it patched to prevent a blow out on the freeway. We talked to the manager (Miguel) about price and it was pretty reasonable. About 10 minutes later, my sister went to get the car while I stayed in the waiting area to take care of payment. Much to my surprise, Miquel said 'no charge, it's all taken cared of'. I thought he meant my sister paid for it. It turned out that when Ramon removed the tire to patch it, he also dipped it in a water tank to double check the location of the leak. Once he pulled out the nail, he saw that it was a short nail that didn't actually puncture the tire. So he pulled it out, put the tire back in, replaced the valve stem cap that was missing from the tire and sent us on our way. We were very thankful, but also extremely surprised at the integrity and honesty of this location. Most mechanics we have used in the past, whether it be for repairs or simple oil change, would never let one of us out the lot without selling us something extra, let alone not charging us anything. It would have been so easy for Ramon or Miguel to push the nail into the tire 1/2 inch and go through with the patch, or slice it sideways to sell us a new tire and maybe a new set of brakes while they're at it.... We were 3 women in an unfamiliar city, in a hurry and a long way from home, on a late holiday weekend afternoon. We were easy targets. Most other repair shops would have taken advantage, inflated the repairs and the bill. The fact that these guys didn't, shows real integrity and deserved to be known. If we lived closer to Riverside, these guys would have a customer for life and we'd bring along family, neighbors and friends, because honest mechanics are hard to find. If you're within reasonable driving distance to this location, take your car there, it's worth the drive. read more

I have had all for tires on my car replaced and the price was so low, when I told the dealership where I got my car from (as I was complaining that they didn't do a proper alignment which caused my tires to wear out unevenly), the dealership couldn't come anywhere close to Allen Tires. price. I don't know the name of the tire technician but THAT dude is so fast...I gave him my key to replace a blown tire on my car and as I was signing the debit receipt for payment, he was handing my keys back! I needed my brake pads changed so I took my Chevy Camaro to Allen Tire in Riverside. I dropped my car off in the morning without an appointment. Miguel checked me in. I dropped my car off. In less than 30 mins I get a call back from him. He had checked my front and rear brakes (even though I told him I was only having problems with the front pads), gave me a quote and within a couple of hours my car was ready for pick up. The price was reasonable, customer service was excellent and the work was professionally done. I have not had any issues with my car. HORRIBLE service!! My sister in law took her car in for an oil change and in the process they broke a piece from her car and fixed it by sealing the part versus replacing the piece completely. We asked for a proper fix and had to take the car back twice, leaving the car for a whole week. They seemed bothered and irritated that we requested a proper fix because apparently the company had to pay for their mistake. It does not make it okay for them to be disrespectful over their own mistakes. The customers deserve high quality service and proper work done on their vehicles. read more
