Casual spot, very talented live musician playing tonight. Mostly a beer spot but they did have a small selection of spirits too. Service was average. Hard working, but a little standoffish.

There's just something about the sound of live music spilling out of a doorway in a Nashville alleyway that puts me in a good mood. Stepping into said doorway and being greeted by the resident bar dog? (I think her name was Lou Anne...) Well that's just the icing on the cake! Alley Taps is not an intimate romantic get away, and isn't a hipster kombucha pub, it's the perfect little Nashville dive bar, just a quiet hole in the wall to go in, have a beer, pet a dog, and have a great time drinking and listening to some good music. One of my favorite stops of the night.

Found this place down a dark alley; heard this incredible music and I had to turn back and wow I found this bar very cool ordered an Old fashion got to keep it classy it's 95 degrees outside by the way. But omg I really love this place. And the drinks are amazing. Once in a while you run into a gem of a place I highly recommend it. Amanda Ray with her band were performing excellent that's what brought me into this establishment.

Great lil place in Printers Alley. It's dark inside but has a decent layout. There are some couches in an area on the way towards the restrooms. The bar area had a good seating as well as multiple tables. There was live music but the musician wasn't playing when we arrived and was actually on a long break (in my opinion). Once he did start playing it was pretty good. They had a good selection of beers and whiskeys/bourbons. The bartenders were friendly and we were served right away. I'd check it out again the next time I'm in town. Honestly, there are a lot of places along that alley and all had live music going on. Loved it.

First stop in Nashville and we really enjoyed the ambiance, beer and music! Our bartender was attentive. Plenty of TV's to watch the games.

My girlfriend & I were on a weekend trip in Nashville and we really didn't have a set agenda but we knew we wanted to just grab a drink somewhere nice and cool. We stumbled upon Alley tap in Printers Alley. It was a nice vibe and not too busy inside. It'd be super fun to come there on the weekend when it gets a bit more busy, but it was nice for what we were looking for. For the drink we got whiskey cocktails and beers and it was just a fun time. They had some good music, the bartenders were nice and we were able to just sit down and just have a quick drink before we went on our way.

The best, most fun downtown bar without question. Awesome music and great servers. Wish every bar was like this place.

The Chicago-style thin crust is killer and they have so pizzas to choose from. My personal favorite is the Peppy Boy. If you love curled pepperonis cooked to perfection with a drizzle of hot honey, this is the one for you. Plus, they have the best homemade ranch I've had in Nashville! Service is super quick, and even if you don't sit on the patio, the open garage doors keep the space cool and breezy! Just be sure to time your trip right since it gets super busy, and don't forget to get your garage parking validated down the street!

To be honest, I've only tried the pizza, so I can't speak to the sandwiches. The Caesar salad is really good, and the tater tots are definitely worth ordering. The pizza dips add an extra layer of flavor, although the pizzas themselves are so delicious that they honestly don't need much help. Where I do find some inconsistency is with the wine selection. There have been quite a few times when the bottles we like aren't in stock. The other is the pizza toppings--sometimes the pizzas come loaded with toppings, while other times they're noticeably lighter. Overall, though, the pizza is very good. The atmosphere is casual and easygoing, and the gluten-free pizza is excellent--a huge plus for us. Despite the inconsistencies, we'll definitely keep coming back!

Frankie's -- Our New Go-To Italian Restaurant!…read more Frankie's is definitely not a restaurant you want to judge by its cover. Walking in, we honestly didn't have the highest expectations--but our perspective changed very quickly! The service was friendly, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. Our waitress walked my wife through the cocktail options, while the sommelier offered to take our bottle of wine and chill it in their cellar. Those little touches made a great first impression. And the food? An absolute 10! As our waitress highlighted the menu, I asked if they had bruschetta. They didn't, but she suggested combining two dishes to create our own--and we did! Their Heirloom Tomato Salad was fantastic, especially paired with their olive oil. The flavor was terrific. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Tennessee Corn Ravioli with Crispy Prosciutto, and I had the Cavatelli with Hot Sausage and Browned Sage Butter. Both were absolutely fantastic. Since moving here, we've been looking for our "go-to" Italian restaurant--and we found it! Overall, we couldn't have been happier. The food was a 10/10, and the service and care from our waitress and the management were excellent. We'll be back over and over and over! Our only suggestion: as the sun sets, several tables get hit with direct sunlight. A little shade would make the experience even better and keep guests from getting blinded during dinner. But that's a very small issue compared with how great everything else was. Frankie's is a winner!

The Bianca bread has nice flavor, but ours was rather charred. The meat and cheese plate is a good sampling for 2-3. The seasonal pasta with Tennessee was delicious but overly salty. I wanted the corn to shine a bit more, but the crunchy prosciutto takes over. The cavatelli with spicy sausage is a rich, oily dish with gummy texture. I wouldn't get that dish again. Dessert was a perfect end. The peach cake is not too sweet, while the chocolate tort is rich and happy. Service was great, and the interior is refined, warm, and restrained.
