The menu offerings were not extensive yet the options to pair with the "long list" of bespoke craft cocktails were perfect. The assorted shapes, sizes and shades of olives were my first delight. I wound up with a charcuterie-esque combination of sour dough that included a creamy cheese smear along the inside of the dish, a prosciutto-like ham, and the most unexpectedly delicious bowl of warm, smoky carrots in a romesco. Not a drop got left behind thanks to the sour dough. Whatever music was playing in the background, added to the swanky vibe. This is the kind of gem that is meant to be savored by every one of your senses.

When the waitress brought the check for me to sign, I realized she had not returned my credit card. I had to track her down to get it back, and while doing so, I ran into another customer who had experienced the exact same thing. They have great drinks and normally provide a good experience, so hopefully this was just an off night. But on this particular Friday evening, with the bar barely occupied, the service definitely missed the mark.

The staff are incredible and the cocktails are cool. There is a feeling of a private club to the whole spot, but also having a very fun vibe. It's elegant and dark, it's unique and alluring. It's a place that any self respecting drinker should visit.

That only lasted 2 numbers and we were hoping for more. Nick also has a "potty mouth" with an occasional string of F-words coming out at odd times. But Holy Moly, could this band (especially the fiddle guy) play. If listening to the band wasn't your thing, the people watching was stellar. So was the Buffalo vs. Boston NHL playoff game on the TV.
