Well, I hit the jackpot with this studio recommended by one of my good friends. I've had Amanda and Doug, both excellent! Doug shines amongst the brightest in terms of the many instructors and trainers that I've had. He's the only person aside from my doctor that can accurately describe what chronic fatigue feels like. That is simply amazing considering he doesn't have the condition himself (that I know of). His empathy is genuine, not superficial. In spite of all the instructors I've had, I've learned more from Doug in two sessions about managing my energy than anyone else. My session today was very seriously life-changing. When I walked out of that studio today, I had more hope for the future than I've had in years. Instead of being fearful of physical decline and inability to do things, I felt like I had a legitimate, sustainable way to increase and maintain my energy. I am genuinely grateful that I found Simply Pilates and am looking forward to continuing there. Highly recommended! Note: During my first visit, Amanda explained that they do Classic Pilates, not Contemporary Pilates. That means they do exercises created by Joseph​ Pilates without modifications. A distinction like that is important to me because form is very important to me and I know I'm learning something that can be replicated if I go to studios in other states or countries.

Last year I was in a major car accident and left with lifelong injuries. I received nine months of care under Dr. Dickerson and the team and Dr Joel has stepped into that role. It should go without saying that this team is so good at what they do, I justify driving from Casa Grande to this location at least once a week ~ 65 miles and 1-1/2 hrs in traffic) It's worth every mile, every minute, and every dollar spent on gas. I could not be more thankful to Spooner Scotsdale and its employees. It's a long story, but something I feel worth telling incase any one else has the same hesitance or is scared. I'm a young man, and I'm not very open to physical therapy with the preconceived notion that it's only for old people, and isn't for debilitating issues like I have, more for stretching and general pain. I was extremely self conscious about coming in, and I am not comfortable with people touching me at all. I also delayed coming in for far too long, which I regret, because it was honestly, I feel, the only thing that can and did help me. I herniated a disk, and couldn't move after lifting something far too heavy. I couldn't move, I couldn't lay down, I couldn't sit or do anything without complete agony in my lower back and leg. I was unable to put on my socks, or do any normal daily tasks. This continued for about 3 days not getting better until my partner forced me to go to Spooner Scotsdale. I was very, very scared that they might tell me it's unfixable, because at the time, I didn't know what the issue was. The drive up was incredibly painful, but so worth it. I came in for an initial evaluation with Geoff, and cried pretty much the second he started talking because the pain was just unbearable, and also worried that this is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life, but Geoff was incredibly reassuring. He closed the curtain to give me some privacy, and calmed me down. He evaluated me, and after some movements and assessing, he explained what's happened. He had some spine models he pulled out to show me what's happened and helped me visualize the issue, and he kept talking to me until I fully understood what was wrong and how it happened. That was incredibly valuable to me, since up until this point, I didn't know anything except I couldn't walk or do anything really. He then helped me do some stretches and exercises, which before his explanation seemed incredibly counterintuitive to me since it just aggravated the issue more, but he explained it in such a way that I could see how it would help and was incredibly appreciative for showing me. I then explained that my schedule is very fluctuating due to work, and it would be very difficult to schedule additional follow ups, which was another big fear for me since I always thought you needed to come in consistently for a month for physical therapy, but he was extremely accommodating and showed me some home exercises and stretches to do, and printed out a sheet to take with me incase I forgot. I am genuinely impressed, that only after an hour with him, that the pain had been relived that much to the point I was able to get a ride home without much issue. Which is saying something, because before my only solution was to take enough ibuprofen to make a pharmacist queasy, which didn't even help the issue, just lessens the symptoms temporarily. I cannot put into words how phenomenal he, and every single person in that clinic was, at every step of the way. I am genuinely thankful to everyone in that clinic, and I will be every single time in the future I'm able to bend over without gritting my teeth. I will be recommending Spooner to all of my coworkers and friends. Thank you:)

I worked with Austin years ago when he had another employer and stayed in touch... So when I had a super painful pickleball injury, he was one of the first people I reached out to. I was pleased that he was able to fit me into his busy schedule with short notice and 24 hours after my injury, I felt a major improvement! I hobbled into PT3 unsure of what to expect, and admittedly wasn't pleased when I learned that they don't accept insurance, but the facility, the one-on-one attention, and that vibration modality that others have mentioned, were super worth it! Austin is amazing with not only identifying the pain, but explaining the injury in layman's terms and also what the patient can do to improve. He connects with each patient and has a ton of experience as an athlete and a PT. He is patient and kind. I can honestly say these people don't care about their patients. They are solely driven by taking ur money, with providing the least amount of service and hospitality possible! Essentially once they have your insurance, & don't have to rely on you paying every visit. After a miserable experience, I was bombarded with emails and phone calls to get you back in. Few years passed, & after suffering a shoulder dislocation, I set up another appointment two weeks in advance, thinking they might be under new management. I showed up within minutes of my appointment, and 30 minutes gone by with the receptionist only coming out from the back once. She notified doctor Sonya I was waiting to see her, patient after patient came in, all but one was complaining about how these people always make them wait in the lobby for ever. With one lady arguing with her mother, contemplating just walking into the back and interrupting the lounge session. After occupying the lobby for over an hour and half, the doctor finally comes out and apologizes because they made some mistake and probably double book. Despite pulling up my appointment on the computer, I was asked by the doctor to wait 30 min and they will see me. I waited 30 minutes, then the receptionist came out and asked me to wait an additional hour and half, at which point I walked out. I have never met a company more deserving of bankruptcy. We have to stop funding subpar business or they will never change! If you love your country, & have any respect for Pat Tillman or his family, I strongly urge you to avoid this establishment.
