Original request: 10/3/18 needed an inspection for the sale of our home. Bobby was genuine, thorough and informative. He broke down everything inspected. Good news we didn't have termites, just some dry rot spots for concern that would be easily treatable for reasonable costs. $75 inspection fee and this amount would get credited to the remaining "fix it" amount should we get the work done with them. Work Request: 10/5/2018 dry rot treatment on home @ very economical cost. Bobby came out again on short notice to get it all handled (after rain/before the weekend). All areas treated and patched up, he even offered to paint over the patched parts at no cost-- we didn't have the spare paint but the consideration just goes to show you. Payment info handled by Nick over the phone with ease. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If we were staying local and ever needed an honest opinion or termite inspection again, we would definitely have Allied Pest Control be our designated go to. read more

I wouldn't recommend! I had an issue with the technician servicing my rental property. They needed to spray the inside, upstairs balconies, and the garage areas. I let them know that my tenant would need to be present so we'd have to ensure it was a day that she would be home. We got the schedule worked out and when the technician came, he didn't bother to ring the doorbell or knock (remember the whole purpose for them coming out was to have them spray the areas they couldn't access without my tenant present). My tenant took notice of the time and went outside to see if he was in the area. She didn't see the technician, but noticed an invoice taped to the gate. I immediately called the office and they told me that he was already on his way to another job and we would have to reschedule. I asked to speak with a manager to see why this happened and was told she was on another line and would call me back. Didn't get a call. The following week I tried calling her and she wasn't available, but she would call me back. Later that week I got a text saying that they would be out to service my other property. I called the office again to let them know that I was still waiting for a call back from Nancy and I didn't want them to service my other property until I got the issue with my rental resolved. That's when I finally got a call back from Nancy. I began the conversation by letting her know that they currently service two of my properties and before I could explain what my concern was, she cut me off asked what my address was and once she recalled who I was, proceeded to let me know how I inconvenienced her and that they needed a gate code to access the community, etc... First of all, that wasn't the first time they've been to that property. If they needed that, they should have asked in advance. This typically isn't an issue as the gate is always busy. They could have called the tenant,as well, to gain access. Secondly, if I'm providing a service, my needs are secondary - I'm looking to see how I can make things right with my customer. That never happened. She just kept telling me how she had to rearrange her schedule to accommodate the availability of my tenant... (okay?). AND if all that wasn't annoying enough, she kept calling me sweetie! Look - if I don't know you, you have no business calling me sweetie, especially if the tone of our conversation isn't pleasant. In summary, their overall service was fine (we only used as preventative - no real pest issues). The technicians were always very friendly. My whole experience with the office staff and Nancy was subpar (most communications were argumentative and condescending). I ended up canceling their services and Nancy voided out the invoice for the incomplete service. read more

Their new Customer service representative was very unprofessional in dealing with 3 missed appointments. We tried to escalate to management which was pointless. We were patient and understanding knowing things are a bit difficult during these trying times but all they had were excuses about "their new system". What was most annoying is that we would get a new appt date and not only would no one show up ,we would have to be the ones to call them and have to start from scratch, explaining we were 3 weeks out from our quarterly appt. We own a property in the Inland Empire that had a really bad Ant problem. Ants were in the kitchen and bathrooms. They were jumping on me when I stood near a counter top. It was awful! I found ALLIED PEST CONTROL via the Internet. This was long before all the other reviews listed here. We have been using ALLIED PEST CONTROL since 2010. What I like most about Allied is that they work with our schedules and they did not pressure us into a contract which is big deal for me. I hate when companies try to force contracts on me. We do have fluctuating scheduled services with them, every other month during the hotter months and every two months during the colder months, yet we are not bound by a contract. This is how I like to conduct business. Their Field staff members sent to our home always arrive within their scheduled time slot, they arrive in uniform, they inform you they have arrived. They are nice, polite and do their job. We no longer have an Ant problem or any other issues since they started servicing us. The only downside as another has stated, the office staff is not great. My experience has been they do not always answer the telephone. You may have to leave a message and wait for a call back. This is not good customer service. They may be missing out on new customers as I myself would have continued to call other service providers had they not answered my first call. They accept American Express, which means we can pay them and earn miles while we spend. If you do not want them to keep your credit card on file, say so. There was a time when I issued my card number after a service and they billed my card after their next service call without my permission, when I called to address this, they said, "we had it on file". I told them I never authorized that. I now call after every service to approve the credit card charge. If I could, I would give them 3.5 stars since I am basically happy with their services but want them to improve their office staff availability and performance, but since I am forced to issue an even number I'll go with 4 stars because I think 3 stars is too low a rating. 7/18/17: Update, The office services have improved since my first review. Set an appointment for 9 am on Saturday. No show, so I called. No answer-left two messages. No response. Tech arrived around 11:30 am and called me. He was given an arrival window of 9-12 (I was told 9 am-no window). Very polite and apologized. Too late though-husband already missed 2 hours of work and was too far away to come back home. Very disappointed. It's now Wednesday, and no one ever returned my call from the office. A top notch company. Nancy and her crew have been serving our homes for over 25 years. Their work is the best and they will come back in between calls if we have any issues. Nancy and Ryan (our tech) are very knowledgeable and their personalities are a plus. In the last 25+ years they have NEVER called off or were late. Their billing and scheduling is very easy and efficient. *Since the city has stopped treating the sewer lines because of money cutbacks you may be noticing more bugs. I took a bug into their office and they quickly identified it and came out the next day to spray our garage. In my opinion that is going over the top to please and keep a loyal customer. They also sprayed around the wet/dark utility areas where creepy crawlers like to hang out. I have never seen an unwanted bug in our home. I have used Allied for several years at two different homes in Corona. I tried 3-4 different companies, including some of the big names, before I found them. Once I started with Allied, there was no reason to look for another pest control company. At both homes, we had severe problems with ants especially during the summer. Once they started, we NEVER saw another ant inside the home. Don't waste your time looking for someone else to service your home. They have reasonable prices and superior service. After making my choice she set me up for service the following day. The technician showed up on time and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have to agree with the rest of the reviews, horrible customer service when it comes to their office. I've been meaning to write this review for sometime but my recent call this week really got to me. I called in a complaint about being billed for a service that was done after it rained. I spoke to the wife of the owner (She made that clear) whom of which was extremely unpleasant and rude. I'm reading another review and seems like that person had the same issue I had. I called another pest company and they do a reminder call and email before they come out a spray which is very convenient since the last thing on our minds is our pest control company. I would have given 1 star however the tech I have is super awesome and is such an upbeat positive person. kind of makes it worth putting up with their office's shortcomings read more
