Unreal. Three weeks of broken promises. Called and scheduled for someone to come look at a rodent issue at my grandmothers for Sat 10/28. Called to confirm appointment on Friday and was not on the schedule. I can understand things happen so rescheduled for the next Saturday 11/4. Yes a gentleman showed up and said he will need to come back to set traps. This is a second home for grandmother so we scheduled for the following weekend 11/11 between 10-12:30. My 83yo Grandmother drove 45 miles out to meet the guy. 12:30 come and gone. No Show. Called the office number. No answer left multiple VMs. Never even received a call back saying sorry or anything. Extremely happy with the service that Allied provides. Was with another well known company for many, many years. I was also happy with them until they changed the benefits they offered their employees a few years ago. Many long time employees had to leave because they couldn't afford to stay. I absolutely hate to see this kind of behavior coming from a large profitable company so I switched to a small local service. I called 3 places to come out to my house to check on my posts for termites. Thank you so much to Bobby Olsen who came out as my 3rd inspection. I have it in one location and couldn't imagine spending $800 (quote from another place) he told us we can easily treat this area ourselves but if we wanted he could do it and it was 1/2 the cost of the other people who inspected it. I am truly grateful for his honesty and will definitely be calling Allied Pest Control again if we need anything. We also had some strange looking bugs in our backyard I wanted to know what they were and he quickly snapped a pic and sent it to a co worker that deals with insects and they told us they were just yard shrimp. The co-owner, Ron, offered us a free service to remove my bad review. I never agreed to the service because what I said was TRUE. We paid our account in full and they removed us from collections. As a follow up, Ron just left a message at my home & said that they "did the service and removed any charges and would appreciate me holding up my end of the bargain." I never agreed to anything other to pay my account & have no further service from this company. I returned his call and I told him we never agreed to his offer to a free service in return for removal of my review. I asked when they came out because I have not heard from them in over a month. He said "I assumed we came out and took care of it." I told him that I had not heard from anyone at his company & noone has been out to my home. Ron then said, "fine if you are going to lie to me, I'm going to return you to collections and add charges to you." I told him this was bad customer service and he hung up on me. They must have changed their formula or either are not spraying enough because the ants and spiders have returned in full force. When I called to complain I was told that the outdoor area was not guaranteed and that I would have to upgrade from quarterly to monthly if I wanted the job guaranteed. That is not what it says on my initial contract. We are dealing with ants and spiders again indoors and when I mentioned this, the owner dismissed my claims. He said "If it's just a few that's not a big deal"...Well it's not just a few they are showing up in every room. I hired Allied Pest control to do termite inspection on a house that i am buying. This house has a termite clearance but i wanted to make sure its termite free. Ray came out and did a thorough inspection and he not only found termites but also convinced the listing agent (very tough person who wouldnt agree there is issue) that his recommendations has to be absolutely carried out to fix the issue. We were told that Allied was great for getting rid of pesky creepy crawlers...but we have yet to be able to find that out for ourselves..we wrote to them through their website..called 2x and messaged them through Yelp..and nothing. This is the 3rd company I have used at my home in the last 5 years. We have the basic issues, some ants and other crawlies but spiders have been our main issue. Mike is our assigned exterminator- he is awesome and really knows his stuff. He put me at ease the second I met him. I also have talked with a very nice woman at the office a few times and I wish I remembered her name because her customer service is ideal! Ryan came out yesterday and today to fix our attic rat problem. I have never had trouble with technicians not showing up. They consistently have been within their window. Anyone that can gain the support and positive comments from my husband stands out in the crowd. I've been using therm since I bought my house, in early 2011. I love the service every time they schedule they show up, the FIELD staff is great. My only qualms about the service is the OFFICE staff, doesn't return calls in a timely manner if your call has to go to voicemail. But that's it any time I have need a re-spray or a early treat, they have always been accommodating. Would I recommend them .... YES, I got both my neighbors to sign up with them too. Originally, we still had a problem after the initialy spraying. After the owner found out he personally came and sprayed our house twice and gave us some good advice on our bug problem. And it helped. He also talked to my mother-in-law at length about how to properly store and dispose of our food. This is a very good company. We bought a house that seemed to have a raging mouse problem in the kitchen. I was afraid that we might never be able to get rid of them. Most places I called had never-ending subscription plans that would "control the mouse population". Basically, a lot of the big name places do things to lure the mice out with phermone traps- but they don't do anything to keep them out. So once you stop paying for the service all the mice come back. Allied was different. A really nice guy, Ryan, came to my house three times. Each time he evaluated where he thought the mice might be coming in- and he blocked their entrance. For a fraction of what the big companies charge they eliminated my mouse problem. Had a bird problem on the roof, and knowing how corrosive bird poops are, as well as the feces around the floor and on the wall, decided to yelp a few nearby pest control companies. Allied Pest Control was listed as 5 star and decided to give them a call. Phone was answered promptly, courteously, and felt genuinely interested in the bird issue. Scheduled for a technician to come out for price quote a few days later. Ryan (the technician) arrived promptly, is well versed, and knowledgeable about all sorts pests and their behaviours. Prevention is the key for keeping birds (or pests) away, which requires someone with knowledge and experience with more than just who is "hired to spray everywhere." Ryan definitely knows what he was doing, and most of all he is thorough. He explained what he his plan of attack was, scheduled the work a couple of days later, and thoroughly laid down the bird gel in all the places on the roof and rafters. Allied Pests' pricing is more than fair for their approach in pest control, as it seems one gets a more friendly and people who genuinely care in their jobs/company compared to the chain pest control stores. 5 stars all the way. read more

2/4/19 What a absolutely great experience having Bobby perform a termite inspection on my home. I chose Allied because of all the positive reviews here on Yelp. I had some visible termite damage on the 4x4 supports of my patio and feared they would enter my home thru the lag bolts on the ledger. Bobby did a thorough inspection and assured me the damage was minimal and confined to the support posts only. I cannot express how impressed I was with his honesty and professionalism. Very disappointed!! I called to see when they were coming out to spray and they said they will be there Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and no call and no show I called back Thursday and they said they would be there Friday.. again Friday came and no call and no show... when I called to check they said "oh no one called you". There customer service is awful.... and they have a gentleman there that answers the phone that you can't understand and he uses foul language... DON'T USE this company if you actually want work to be done! If your ok with bugs and them never spraying then go for it... read more

SUPER SATISFIED! I have been utilizing Allied Pest Control since 2004 and have no intention of stopping our monthly service. When we moved to Corona we discovered the huge ant problem that all Coronians face. One of my daycare clients recommended Ron and his staff and we are so pleased. We have never had severe ant problems since then. The few times we spotted a trail on the outskirts of our property, or for that manner, any bug concerns, Allied Pest immediately addressed the problem. We have also had bees sprayed and removed, which were spotted by the technician, not even by us (mind you, he took me out and showed me the hives). Later, we added a rodent bait box, which is checked monthly, and new bait added as needed. They are super affordable, and only raise individual rates every 5 years. In this economy, you can not beat it! They give me a reminder call each month, so I know exactly when they will be coming. They arrive in uniform, with professionally labeled trucks, so you never have to worry they are not who they say they are. They always knock to let me know they have arrived, but if I am not home, they still do their job. I just leave the gates unlocked and when I return home the invoice is in the mailbox. Since I have worked with them for years, I am more than comfortable with their team, and have no worries. When we had dogs, they were very careful not to let them out, and would even carry dog treats for them. If I want indoor service, that is included, but I have rarely needed once regular maintenance had been ongoing for some time. Additionally, they leave a professional, typed invoice in my mail and I can leave a check at my door or just use my bank Bill Payer to pay them each month with no hassles. I have a daycare, so I appreciate a business that helps keep my little daycare blessings, and my family happy and safe! I also love supporting a family owned business. In April 2012, I was all set to move into a rental on 10th street in Corona. The owner lived in the back house I had signed a lease, and all seemed to be going great. But, as we were re-cleaning to our own satisfaction, I noticed termite activity within an hour of cleaning the kitchen. I decided to have Ron come out and inspect before moving in. He and Ray came out and did a thorough exam, crawling under, and going into the attic, etc. They took photos and did a full report. What they found was atrocious: Two kinds of termites, giant roaches that had been allowed to go untreated, rats and mice (which incidentally leave black marks [dirt mixed w/their oils] on the outside of walls where they crawl in and out), black AND brown widow spiders. The owner dismissed all of their findings and claimed they were just trying to get his money. I terminated the lease before even moving in. I was not able to get my deposit back, but I believe Allied saved me much heartache in their findings. What's more, that entire inspection was at no charge. When I finally did find a suitable home in November, Allied came out and gave the place the all clear. And guess what, it was Ron who referred me to the Property Mgmt. when I asked him for help - seeing as how he is out and about in Corona. Now that is REAL customer service. He and his wife Nancy are genuine, caring people. I have continued to use them at this new property. We are once again getting Corona's ants under control here and dealing with rodents, since there are citrus trees. But, they are on top of everything, and making me feel comfortable as I start life over in this new house. One more mention, in regards to another post - during rainy season, the spray dries in just a few hours, so if it is not raining THAT day, they can still use the spray and it is fine. But, if needed the team uses granules so no worries on rain washing away the spray product. And re. the office: I have almost always gotten a return call if I had to leave a message because phone lines were busy, or if I called during non-business hours. In the event, someone accidentally forgot, maybe once or twice in all these years, well we are human, and sometimes we should allow others a little grace, as we would like "done unto us". In the early years, if I ever had a concern about a technician, Ron addressed it immediately. Now, he seems to have a really good team of courteous, professionals. I emailed them using their web site, but did not hear back from them. I waited a week then called and spoke with someone in the office. ( I told her I tried to contact her via email) She said "her termite guy was on vacation and they would call me back" I never got a call back. I had 2 other companies come out in the mean time and provide a termite inspection and report, free of charge. I thought Allied's charge of $85.00 would be incentive to come out. Guess Not! read more
