Came in early in the morning to purchase a large dump trailer. Unfortunately the man who greeted (can't even say he actually greeted me) me who must be the owner was extremely rude off the bat. I just mentioned I was waiting for someone in the store to meet me and he went off on me with an attitude. A friend had gone there and they told him they didn't have what he was looking for. I called and they told me they didn't have what they were advertising but had a different trailer. Gave me a price . My friend went back (not realizing it was the same place he had been to until he got there), they told him they didn't have what they told me they had and quoted him a higher price. He was ready to pay cash. But they were incredibly rude again. I would never do business with these guys. Very dishonest. When I called back he told me he didn't say any of the things he said to me. It seams there was a short term memory loss. He told me he didn't have time to talk to me he had other customers. No problem you won't be getting my cash! I don't often write reviews, but every now and then there's an experience that needs to be acknowledged. My brother and I's first trailer purchase at Sac-Valley Trailer with Bernie was one. We had done a lot of research on dump trailers and thought Load-Trail was going to be the best option. My brother visited Bernie and got a good explanation and very fair price quote. We both went back on Friday to make the deal. Don't worry if it's raining...Bernie and his team will be there ready to help and make a deal! We had several questions and Bernie was awesome at sharing his opinion and thoughts on what was really needed and what wasn't. Don't waste time going somewhere else. I researched about a year for what I wanted and then called Barney, simply put he wanted my business. His price was by far the best. "Yard Dawg" was the nickname of the gentlemen who helped me. I was a little pressed for time, busy with work. I came in the day prior and he and I walked the yard. They have an extensive selection of trailers from cargo, flatbed, dump, service, and equipment. I was looking for a dump trailer that would fit the needs of my company. Yard dawg walked me around until we found the trailer I was looking for. I gave him my business card, and asked him to get it ready. We set an appointment for the following day. Upon return the transaction was seamless. Trailer was ready to go, paper work was in order, and battery was charged. In and out in about a half hour. I've been looking around for a dump trailer for a little over a month, and the quality just wasn't there. I visited just about every trailer yard in Sacramento, and the trailers they carry weren't the same quality as the LOAD TRAIL I landed on. Wish I would have come here first. Don't come here unless you want to take the risk of being attacked by their dog. I went in 10/26/18 at 9:15am and was immediately attacked by their dog. It lunged at me and went for my arm. It left bite mark on my right arm. I confronted the guy working there about his dog biting me and all he said was my dog don't bite. He just gnaws! What a way to chase away customers. We live in Sonoma county and were looking for a new dump trailer for our construction company. We went to several trailer dealers and they just didn't care if they sold us a trailer or not and told us we'd have to wait at least 6 weeks for delivery. We reached out to Sac Valley Trailer and Barney answered all our questions. He invited us to look at the trailers on his lot so we took a trip to Sacramento. Terrible dealer. Don't buy from them. Purchased a trailer and paid a $95 for document fee and five year registration. They never completed the paperwork with the DMV leaving me with an unregistered trailer. After two weeks of politely calling and getting the run around I suggested that if they were unwilling to do the work they should refund my fee. They Hung up. Who wants to buy from a dealer to lazy to complete the paperwork with the DMV? read more

Poor service for warranty repair! I am a small, veteran-owned business owner and on April 24th, 2017, I called the Load Trailer Warranty Department for a trailer issue and was recommended by the Load Trail Company to go see Scott at Sac-Valley Trailers in Sacramento, CA. I sent my driver (who is my spouse) to Sac-Valley Trailers but the business didn't have part and was given an alternate part. At that time my driver was told by Scott to come back for correct part when it came in from Load Trail. We followed up with Sac-Valley later in that week and was able to set up a time to come in the next week. When my driver arrived to have the new part installed, he was then told we would have to pay for the correct part and the labor to have it installed. Sac-Valley Trailers then said they had told us when we left previously that we would be stuck with the alternate part. This was not true, we would have never left and been stuck permanently with an alternate (non-warrantied) part instead of the warranty part on a 10-month old trailer which my company purchased brand new. This is at a minimum "shady" and actually seems fraudulent. I called the business with no answer and then sent a fax to them with no response. read more

I recently got a used trailer from a private party, originally sold by sac valley trailers. I was driving and I hit the rim and damaged some parts. I figured I'd go back to where the trailer was first sold. I walked in with the old part and Burne met me at the front. After showing him what I needed he went into the back, grabbed one for me right away and brought it out. After asking him how much it would cost, he told me it would cost nothing. Keep in mind I had mentioned I didn't buy the trailer here so he had no reason to repair or replace anything. I'm not one for writing reviews but I can honestly say I will be back here whenever I need more stuff for my trailer. The process was quick, easy, and in this case, very affordable! I have to take the time to write this on behalf of the owners and workers of Sacramento Valley Trailer Sales. I had a trailer hitch installed somewhere else and when I left there I noticed that the trailer running lights did not work. I was already unhappy with the way I was dismissed by the trailer hitch company so I thought I would just leave and get the wiring corrected elsewhere. Less than 5 blocks away I saw this company on the right side of Auburn Blvd. Their signage said sales but I thought what the heck let me stop by. They looked at it and told me to bring it back at 730am the next day. I did and they spent time finding the wiring issue. It turned out that Ford had put in the wrong wiring harness from the factory in 2013. Instead of them sending me away to the Ford dealer they just did it! No complaints, nothing! They rewired the truck from front to back and everything is amazingly safe and works great.....thanks to all of you! I want to mention they have a HUGE inventory of the dump trailers. There asking price for them are less then some of them I have seen for sale on line used. Check them out. They are an amazing crew and knowledgeable enough to do this entire job without any assistance from Ford. (Let me add that they added a trailer brake for me as well) Thank you, thank you!
