This was my first time coming here, but it definitely will not be my last. Brunch was AMAZING!!! The flavors were all on point. Staff was friendly and service was fast. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The meals were all unique with their own spin on some classics. I had the Superfood power bowl, which I was not expecting to come out with alot of Kale and looking like a salad. But I took the first bite and I was hooked! It was delicious! It felt like a very healthy breakfast and I really enjoyed it alot. Then I took a taste of my friend's Cajun Shrimp with Crispy Polenta cakes and promptly decided I would be coming back for that the next morning for Sunday brunch. Definitely do yourself a favor and ask for a side of the candied bacon as well!

Let's talk about this little gem. Are you looking for a quaint spot to take a date, or maybe a girls night out? Look no further. This place, although small packs the perfect punch for romance or for a nice night out for a few drinks. The food is delicious and the display was just as amazing as you can see in the picture! If you are in town and you have the opportunity to stop by, do it. This one may not be for the kids though, due to the limited room and unique menu let's keep this one reserved for the adults, trust me you won't regret it.

Good vibes & live music. Love that if u miss happy hr 4-6, it's again 9-11. Majority of their cocktails are on happy hr. There are also a few bites. I didn't enjoy the mahi tacos but the shrimp ones are tasty. My friend really enjoyed her poke bowl. Pretty decent portions. The Capri spritz & cherry good thyme are nice cocktails. The other few cocktails (watermelon one & both margs) were a bit too sweet for me. Service is friendly & attentive. Outdoor seating area is nice.

It was the perfect day for an outdoor lunch in downtown Melbourne, and I finally got to check out Alligator Reef Club--a place I'd been meaning to visit for a while. As soon as I walked in, I knew I'd be coming back! The décor, both indoors and outdoors, creates such a welcoming and cozy vibe. The staff was incredible, with Sam going above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how I liked it. I sampled a variety of dishes and already have a list of what to try next time--LOL! The combination of top-notch service, atmosphere, and mouthwatering food made for an amazing experience. Can't wait to return!

Alligator Reef Club, 529 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, FL. 32901 2.5 Stars Located in the brightly refurbished one-time carbuncle at 529 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, FL. is where one will find a new entrant in the growing field of eateries aptly named Alligator Reef Club. The estiment may be new on the scene, but the owners are not. The owners, very well known to the Big Boy, are well-established veterans of the local restaurant scene. Darlene is our oniduro today and she did not leave us hanging long. Darlene possessed a charming demeanor and seemed genuinely delighted we walked in the door. Taking a seat at our table, I began to take in the complete remodel of this longtime Melbourne haunt. The place is bright, open and exudes an extremely welcoming atmosphere with a succinct ocean vibe. Well done! Keeping it simple today, I placed an order for their Tuna tacos and a Key West Sunrise Burger (because who doesn't want an egg on their burger?) Tuna tacos are one of those dishes I crave on a regular basis. As these were advertised to be served on the grilled flour tortillas with the traditional cabbage as well as their take on the sushi staple wakame (seaweed salad) and topped with a Balsamic ponzu sauce I was looking forward to the sample. The Key West Burger certainly read well on the menu comprising as it did of an Espresso rubbed blend of ground beef short rib, brisket, and chuck and including candied peppered bacon. That was about as far as I got on the description as the drool began to pool on my menu. Again, knowing the owners as I do, and looking at the fare offered, I was really looking forward to chowing down on this grub. Unfortunately, the line cook must not have cared about the quality of the protein he was slinging as my tacos smelled a bit like the infamous red tide dead fish. To say it was foul would be a gross understatement. My second even commented from across the table that they could smell it. I have to say it again. If your fish smells like fish, it's not good. I know for a fact that if either of the owners knew about this, the cook would have been unceremoniously tossed out on his tuckus (along with the tuna). While the Key West Sunrise Burger was not advertised as "smashed", it came that way. I still don't know why this is a thing. In my humble gastronomical opinion, it ruins a perfectly good burger. Fighting through for the purpose of this review, I found it to be edible, but nowhere near as succulent as the menu leads one to believe. The décor and Darlene saved this place for sure. While the food wasn't spectacular and cost over $60 while not being worth $10, the vibe is great, the drinks looked interesting and I know the entrepreneurs in charge will get this right, however, until further Big Boy notice, I say, "skip it."

We came here specifically for the outdoor seating w/ live music and the drinks. Both of those were as expected. We enjoyed a seat on the patio overlooking the lawn and had the blackberry mule and the espresso martini. The mule was mine and was delicious enough to get 2! It was refreshing, cute, and not overly sweet. We ordered the bruschetta as an app. The bread was good but it was mostly just diced tomatoes. Nothing special. Then we each ordered the tacos. The tortillas were good. I was satisfied with the fair price so can't complain. This is a good spot to just come hangout and enjoy some good drinks and music.

Great Sunday Funday vibes on the outside patio!

Another great alligator reef experience. Quick drop in for drinks and apps! First time sitting at the inside bar, because it was too hot outside. The inside bar is the cutest with a gear selection of liquors, wines and beers!

We were in a party of four service was excellent, staff are quite friendly and attentative to your needs, the menu and drink are nice, there needs to be a more variety of Ses foods, especially local area fish, No fish and chips offered, in Florida a variety of seafood menu is a must. Outside set up is nice, we were out on a Sunday, a very gorgeous day. Prices should be a bit lower, a party of four with three well drinks ran me , $133.00, seems like Miami prices. Overall Very Nice.

Such a fun little local spot. Had mimosas and brunch. Loved the ambiance. Food was terrific.

Burger was delicious! I loved the vibe and ambiance of the place. Was definitely a good time for a Friday night! Breeze was a great waitress to us tonight. Very friendly and did a great job of explaining the different menu options. Definitely will be coming back again soon!

The food and the friendly staff was amazing the drinks were all smashing, can't recommend this places to people if your looking for a good vibe spot with friends and family!

The problem is the open patio door concept. It lets all the hot air in and the cool air out. The condensation is dripping off the vents and pooling on the floor. We tried outside and unfortunately the only tables they would give us as a couple were four seaters out under tiny umbrellas that do nothing to block the heat. They wouldn't let us sit under the actual patio at a larger table "just in case" a group came in. Well, no groups came but we sure sweated it out under our little umbrella. Fish and rock shrimp roll were great, regular fries great, but the upcharged truffle fries were burnt. They made a second batch to take with us... but didn't poke holes in the container so they were a soggy mess that went in the trash at home. I really did appreciate the effort and the server was so nice. But this is the second attempt to eat here. First inside where we all sweated and couldn't hear each other over broken blaring speakers and overcrowded dining area (not to mention inedible chewy snapper special), and now sweating outside with burnt truffle fries we paid extra for. It's just not fun and really starts being annoying to spend money for "upscale" dining in such poor physical conditions. I'm really hoping they get it together, but doubtful after two bad experiences in a row. Tips to owners: Expanding the patio cover. Get a door that closes. Fix the speakers inside. Wipe up the ac puddle (that won't exist if you close the patio door). And give your diners some elbow room.

Instead, one of the main seating areas was partially taken over by strollers, toys, and other kid gear. I understand that restaurants can't control every family that visits, but the overall atmosphere felt more like a playground than a relaxing waterfront dining spot. To the staff's credit, my server was kind enough to move some of the strollers and toys so I could get a seat. Unfortunately, it had just rained and the chairs were still soaked. While I appreciated her making room for me, it would have been nice if someone had also taken a moment to wipe down the seat before it was offered to me. Instead, I had the unpleasant experience of sitting in a sopping wet chair and spent my evening here with a soggy backside, which definitely put a damper on the experience... Pun intended. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which was good, although I was a little surprised to receive it in a plastic cup. Maybe that's standard here, but it wasn't what I expected. For dinner, I tried the mahi tacos after seeing them mentioned in several reviews. The fish itself was good, but the tacos were absolutely covered in sauce, to the point that it drowned out the taste of everything else. Also, thatsynot what they looked like on the reviews I saw. If I knew they would have so much sauce (or any sauce actually) I would ordered it on the side. I ended up removing most of the sauce-drenched toppings just to taste the fish. I also requested a side salad and was told the only option available for a side salad was a Caesar... despite several salads being listed on the menu. I guess it was too hard to toss some salad greens into a bowl with a side if vinaigrette The parking situation is also very confusing. All the spaces indicate that parking is for guests and there is signage along the fence threatening to tow anyone who parks along the fence. I had to call the restaurant to confirm where guests could park (along the fence, as long as it is not overnight or just to go to the beach) and fortunately my car was still there when I returned from dinner. Overall, the food was decent and the waterfront location is nice. If you're looking for a casual, family-friendly beach bar, this may be a fit. However, if you're hoping for a quieter place to unwind after work or enjoy a peaceful dinner by the water, you definitely want to look elsewhere.
