I'm writing this because of how many negative reviews I've read and how I had the opposite experience! My ultrasound tech Sara was so loving and kind during my whole appointment! She made sure she had everything measured correctly and gave me such wonderful photos! Even when checking in it was very efficient and the receptionist were very helpful and friendly! I'm excited for my upcoming appointment with Dr. Yang and I know I'm in very capable hands going to AllSafe Medical Group! read more

I came to this clinic because it was recommended by my insurance. The office itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained. My first appointment went smoothly, and the ultrasound technicians and front desk staff were always kind and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctors and providers was extremely disappointing. I had a prior sonogram from another clinic that clearly established how far along I was, yet at every appointment they continued to reference the wrong due date. Even after their own ultrasound confirmed my gestational age, my records were never updated correctly. As a result, I was sent for early testing that I explained was being scheduled too soon based on the incorrect due date. My concerns were consistently dismissed instead of being addressed. My worst experience was with Dr. Ken Fan. He arrived late to my appointment, and when he finally came in, he sat across the room and appeared completely disengaged, as though he didn't want to be there. I tried once again to explain that the early testing had been ordered because of the incorrect due date and that I had not requested it. Rather than listening, he argued with me, rolled his eyes, and seemed visibly irritated throughout the appointment. He also didn't appear to review my chart or verify how far along I was before meeting with me, despite the information already being available in my records. I don't understand why he is still in this field. Patients should not have to repeatedly remind medical staff how far along they are, even after the clinic has performed its own ultrasound confirming the correct gestational age. I don't understand why my records were never updated appropriately despite multiple opportunities to do so. Trying to reach the triage department was equally frustrating. Getting answers was nearly impossible, and I was repeatedly transferred between staff members or told to come speak with the front desk in person, wasting both my time and theirs. The technicians and front office staff deserve recognition for being courteous and helpful. However, because of my experience with the medical providers and the lack of attention to accurate patient records, I cannot recommend this clinic. read more

Do your uterus a favor and don't come here. They're only in it for the money, and will make sure they milk you and or your insurance for every dollar they can. Though I did like the doctor I saw, the practice as a whole is ridiculous. My visit started with check in and the waiting room. Loud with a movie (comedy) that seems to be so the front office can be entertained more than to create a calm welcoming environment. I arrived early and the right half of the waiting room was empty, so I chose a seat and sat down. Five minutes later a gentleman came in and sat two seats to my right (more seats to the right of him). Then some woman came in, checked in with the staff and turned to take a seat. She stood in front of me and told me to move. (Why you ask, there was a seat open to my right and to my left). Because she wanted the seat next to the man and the seat next to her to be vacant.... I didn't realize she was with the man since they arrived separately, but the man said "sit here" referring to the right of him. Ridiculous, the reception team didn't interject but gawked and waited to see what would happen. So I moved, and as I did the woman was called for her appointment.... (Thanks for looking out for your patients team!) When I was called for my appointment, I went into a room, where I noticed the patients bed (gynecologist patient bed/exam table) faced the door (which is odd for gynecologists visit to have your who-ha facing the open door, right? After the Physicians Assistant (PA) took my vitals, she left and the doctor came in. My exam began and then the PA walked back in. No knock, no covering up my vagina she just opened the door and joined the exam. I do understand the reasoning to have two people in the visit at all times due to the nature of the exam, but maybe the doctor should have waited to begin until her PA arrived or at the very least tell her she should have knocked for patient privacy. It's then I realized the window blinds weren't even pulled all the way down, so maybe since the neighboring buildings saw me disrobe, might as well let the whole office see my bits as well. Again, the doctor was fine, but she should have apologized for the PA's lack of knocking during a pelvic exam! Then back to the reception desk, to make a "results" appointment. Wait, just mail them to me.... "We don't do that, an appointment is needed. We can do it via video. So I begrudgingly made a return appointment to "get my results" because I get it now.... They want to charge you for a second appointment to return and or a video appointment. Rather than just mail them or send them to my doctor. They rather make you have to trek back across town and traffic to what tell you all is normal see you in a year and waste a days pay? I get it if your results required a consultation, but it is EXACTLY what it feels like, a money grab for a second appointment. Because if they really cared about your health their bedside manners would be better. The doctor would spend quality time meeting a new patient and making them feel comfortable, apologize when the door to the exam room was opened during a pelvic exam or be more understanding when you arrive late fora results appointment that shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. *And also, when I made my appointment I was asked if I had a male/female doctor preference. I said female(which I assume if they asked they'd note it in my file.). When I arrived for my visit they asked if I'd like to see the male doctor, he was available now. I said no, I'll wait for my appointment. Then when making the results appointment I was asked "do you have a preference for male or female" again. So obviously they don't ask to know they ask for their convenience. Find a better practice, this one doesn't make the standards. And why on earth do the arrange the exam tables with the patients bits towards the door? They should be named "all your bits for all to see" or maybe "all your money". read more

The worst OBGYN office that I have ever experienced. I had Optum as my medical group which did not have any OBGYN doctors available so they sent me to All Safe. I went to the Huntington Park office. Super ghetto location and the office looked like it had not been renovated since the 80s. The front desk staff were not friendly at all. I had already confirmed my pregnancy with Optum and was told I would get an ultrasound with All Safe. To start, I had to speak to a so called "nurse" through a tablet. The "nurse" barely spoke English and I could barely understand her. She asked me all the same questions that I had already completed in the pre appointment check in online. So that was a total waste of time. Then the doctor came in and just told me that I was pregnant. Which I already knew. She said I would have to schedule another appointment for an ultrasound. Then another appointment for blood work. Then a 3rd appointment to get my results. This is outrageous! My other OBGYN (Optum) scheduled a single appointment to do an ultrasound, blood work, and talked to me about the results of the ultrasound as they did it. And bloodwork results were sent to me in my chart. All Safe is a scam of a medical group. They want you to schedule another appointment for everything so they can get more money out of you. It's a total waste of my time and money. And to top it all off as they still scheduled me for multiple appointments after I told the receptionist that I would not be coming back and would find another OBGYN. So I had to cancel the multiple appointments that I never asked them to schedule. I'm sure they were hoping I wouldn't cancel in time so they could charge me the copay. The reviews are true for the most part. It depends on the location and provider you see. My review today is for the back office. The lady that handles disability paperwork . If you made it as far as having surgery with this company you will need to make sure to stay on top of them including paperwork. I submitted my disability paperwork via email like they told me to and two weeks went by and nothing had been done. I end up calling them and the lady I spoke to said she never got such email. I sent the information to the correct email. The one they gave me. Having surgery alone is frustrating enough and now having to wait for someone to do their job.. ugghh Fast forward to they made a mistake on the return to work date and I had to call them back for a week straight. I couldn't get a hold of vilma the person in charge of disability. I left several messages with someone and vilma never called me back. Until one day I told the receptionist who do I need to speak to because vilma hasn't responded and I been trying to reach her for a week. What do you know? This is like a baby factory instead of a doctors' office. You never know which provider you're going to see, so you don't have any sort of personal relationship with any of them. They are terrible with following up on prescriptions and forms required to get short term disability. The whole system is horrible and impersonal. read more

This is a sham of a medical office. Once I found another local one covered by my insurance I was able to confirm that the way this place operates is NOT NORMAL. My biggest grievances are them having a nurse call in from another country (probably getting paid way less than local nurses) to do your initial intake, getting all of five minutes with the doctor, having the doctor completely disregard my desire to do my tests in-network and recommending me to a third party clinic that my insurance will not cover at all when I specifically said I needed to check on things following major surgery, and the attitude of the front desk when it came to basic insurance and imaging questions. If you're thinking of checking this office out or a current patient all I have to ask you is WHY? It was my mistake to not check these many, many reviews when I made my first appointment. Came to an ultrasound with my pregnant girlfriend, and the technician just did the ultrasound without letting us see anything. She didn't even explain what was happening or what she was seeing. Dr Yang had very limited experience treating HRT and limited information so she said she had to refer me to ANOTHER Obgyn at a completely different doctors' office. Okay first off you can't call directly to anyone that works there you have to talk to someone who is most likely working from home and usually doesn't speak very good English in my experience and then they send a message to office and you'll be lucky if they get back to you the same day. You don't get to have the same OB it's someone different every time. The two male OBs I have seen are very dull and not welcoming at all on the other hand the female I've seen once was amazing and actually seemed to care. They don't really listen to your concerns and the front desk lady's are not very friendly or personal. There is one young lady that works there that is super nice but the others again are just whatever. ALSO THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD HERE EVEN IF YOU'RE A MINUTE BEHIND THEY WONT TAKE YOU. This Practice has gone down hill I have been with them since 2014 had two babies delivered with them but now going through my miscarriage in 2025 horrible customer service and lack of empathy I found out I had a miscarriage in September and it's November and am barley getting my D&C I have left every visit crying because of their lack of compassion and to help in this vulnerable state I was in. Scheduling is horrible they told me they can not squeeze me in for a post op like the dr recommended a week from Sx they gave me one for 3 weeks out they are waiting for a liability lawsuit to happen with their patient care. read more

This negative review is about Dr. Fan, absolutely more horrible doctor I have ever come across!! I was 11 weeks pregnant and he disregarded everything I was telling him about my cramping, spotting and lots of discomfort, as he cut me off by replying, "oh that's normal". He basically brushed everything off and told me to come back for another appointment, that's when I asked when am I going to see the doctor and he annoyingly answered saying, " I am the doctor " which caught me off guard due to the lack of care I was receiving from such a horrible human being. Ladies, beware and read this before you consider AllSafe. I remember reading horrid reviews and I wish I could go back in time and heed their warnings. If I could give zero stars, I would, but unfortunately Yelp doesn't let me. AllSafe was all in all a terrible experience. I dreaded every single appointment, and it only got worse with time. To sum it up, the lack of professionalism from all the employees from the receptionist to the OB/GYN was unacceptable. There was absolutely no bedside manner in a place where they serve women at their most vulnerable. Further, the incompetence. If it weren't for my husband advocating to speak to the doctor following an ultrasound, I would have left the office not knowing to expect a miscarriage in the next couple of days. And we were supposed to wait for over a week to speak to a doctor, but with a silent ultrasound tech and blood tests indicating dropped HCG levels, we deserved a conversation. Shame on you guys. I didn't get a good vibe at all with my first visit. At the front desk, I was told I could be charged for discussing my labs, which they had available. This conversation would have been less than 5 mins. I was told, after waiting for a while, that I would be seeing a male doctor, even though I made an appointment with a female. They didn't think to ask me about it earlier in the day. Lastly, my visit with the doctor was very rushed. He seemed very uninterested in my questions. I've been waiting since May (it is now October) to have polyps removed to only be rescheduled twice and then come to find out my insurance cancelled the contract with the hospital where the surgery was to be performed at the end of August. Honest review every pregnant woman should read. This clinic caused me trauma during what should've been a joyful time. I'm giving 1 star only because the front desk staff and medical assistant were kind and helpful. But Dr. Kenneth Fan and the ultrasound tech (NT scan on 05/22/2025) left me feeling dismissed, scared, and unsupported. At 34, first pregnancy, no issues -- yet all I got were generic miscarriage stats and cold answers like "If you're still pregnant, you're fine,". Worst part? During my NT scan, the tech asked if I was seeing a high-risk doctor -- with no explanation. That one comment sent me into panic and eventually therapy. Going to see a doctor can always be daunting, but AllSafe Medical Group surprised me with their "hip" twist on a doctors office. This was my first time at an AllSafe Medical Group facility. When I walked in immediately noticed medium-loud music, a movie playing on the tv, and green LED lights around their receptionist desk. My first impression was, "WOW, this is pretty cool!" As a woman in her 20's, I felt like the doctors office was geared towards me. After the receptionist told me what room to go, a medical assistant video called me on the computer to ask me a few personal health questions and sign a waiver. I do wish the receptionist walked me to the room and told me someone would be calling me on the computer. Afterwards, a really nice medical assistant took my blood pressure and weight. She was very personable, and I hope to see her again! Dr. Chang was amazing! He answered all of my questions and concerns in a thorough manner (and trust me, I had a lot). He was patient and he made me feel like I can open up to him about what I was going through. That's the #1 thing anyone wants in a doctor! Unfortunately he only works Mondays at this specific facility, but hopefully I can see him again. A few things that I noticed, but the doctors office can't change, is the lack of bathroom inside the facility. The bathroom was outside the office in the hallway. It was a bit awkward getting a urine sample outside of the office, walking back in with the cup, and placing it in the lab room. I can't really fault them for the walk of shame. read more

So, if you have any anxiety, trauma, or issues that might fall even slightly outside of the box, avoid this practice. Did you think that you would be getting an annual exam from your actual doctor? Surprise! It's a stranger that you weren't told about, an NP who is there to save costs (which will still be passed along to you). Did you need to keep your support person with you during your appointment? Surprise! The staff will separate you from your person, then leave you alone in an exam room for 20 minutes until they get around to doing your vitals. (I get that you're trying to make sure that people can speak freely without an audience, but you can easily do this with the color-coded cups in the bathroom that other practices have. Oh wait, that might cost you guys a trivial amount of money. Much better to give your patents panic attacks. Much cheaper that way!) Did you think that you would be discussing your health history with a doctor or nurse in the same room as you? Surprise! There's some dodgy setup where a woman overseas on an iPad will sit there and tell you about your cancer risk. Why? Who is she? What are her qualifications? Why can't the doctor say this to me? She came in two minutes after my mystery conversation over your probably-unsecured data connection. Did you want a referral for a mammogram? Surprise! You have to make (and pay for) another appointment for that piece of paper! I love Dr. Vu. She is amazing and has been nothing but help since I first started seeing her at another practice years ago, but I hope with all my heart that she can get out of this terrible place where every decision is made for the benefit of the practice, not the patient. These jerks are not at all forthcoming about how things are handled or what the policies are, although the assistants are good at bleating "THAT'S OUR PROTOCOL" over and over when you ask why your husband can't sit with you while your blood pressure is taken. Giving them one star because they've actually managed to improve the phone system somewhat--you used to wait on hold for 45 minutes to try and cancel an appointment and I kept getting kicked down in the queue. read more

Most of the staff members give huge attitudes. One of the doctors gave my wife a miss diagnosis without having her chart turns out he didn't even know what patient he was talking about. Every time my wife comes in it gives her anxiety. The staff fakes her blood pressure half the time. The front office looks great the rooms look in bad shape. They make you set an appointment to get any results will not call or upload to chart until you pay, Loud thumping music and loud cartoons all playing at once not relaxing at all. I literally needed 5 minutes to talk to the doctor and should not need to spend hours out of my day to come into the office for that. No one should. There was no exam or results involved in this visit. It's absurd in this day and age not to offer tele-visits. Every other medical office both myself and husband go to have tele-visits for something like this. I stand by my first review. I would not recommend this facility because they do not put patient health above insurance payments. I came in for a pap, but I have been having my menstrual cycle for 3 weeks. The doctor could not examine me while I was there because my insurance hadn't been billed for that service yet. So they reschedule me for an ultrasound, meanwhile I'm going on 4-5 weeks of being on my cycle and I get the ultrasound and still not able to see a doctor!??? I have to make another appointment to finally see a doctor the very next day! Meanwhile I have to continuously pay my co pay! This has been a two week process. At first, I wasn't really happy about the wait time, the lack of consistency of who I saw, and the inefficient delivery of results before my following appointment. But then, I got Dr. Fan. That changed everything. The service was more personable. It became my ObGyn office and I was very glad that I waited it out and didn't go to another office (per my PCP). Dr. Fan is very clear with what he communicates to me. He hears me out. When he's explaining something to me, he is genuine and uses vernacular that I can comprehend. I am taken care of by the receptionist and Medical Assistant every time I come in to see Dr. Fan. Now, I feel like I have a solid team. RUN AWAY!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. Such a terrible experience with this office/Medical Group. From trying to get an appointment, to my exam/physician's bedside manner (Dr. Fan), to the billing issues afterward, this has been such a terrible experience. The exam room was messy, that should have been my first clue. Then after an extensive wait for the doctor, while laying on the table, fully exposed in stirrups, he asked me why I was there and informed me that I didn't need to come see him and that I could have just had my exam with my primary care physician (ummm, he IS a gynecologist and I was going for my yearly pap/women's wellness exam - which I wanted done by a specialist since I have had issues in the past). He was so dismissive and made me very uncomfortable while in such a vulnerable position. Then, I was forced to set up a zoom call in order to receive my test results. What? Typically if nothing is found, they send a letter or give a quick call. Not with this group. So I go with their rules, and 2 weeks later I end up waiting on zoom for almost 45 minutes because the representative (Joy) was late joining...then she doesn't even apologize and says she was with other patients. Waiting all that time for her to tell me everything was clear...not cool. So, even with all that, I was just never going to go to this group again and not leave a review... but I just received my bill. They charged me $70 for seeing a specialist (women's wellness is a free yearly exam under insurance!) and then they also charged me $70 for the zoom call I was forced to take to receive my results! Ridiculous! So now I have to spend my time opening a formal complaint with my insurance to get the $140 I am being charged dismissed. Never again AllSafe. Proceed with extreme caution if you value your time and safe space. You have been warned. read more

The front desk clerk is never an help over phone if it is anything aside from check up. All Safe Medical needs better systems in place! I followed my OB/GYN from another practice to All Safe. While I still like my doctor, of course, my experience so far at All Safe has been terrible. The different systems in their office doesn't seem to communicate well and their communication with patients is lacking. I've experienced issues with lots of extra wait time for appointments due to the office not verifying insurance benefits in a timely manner and due to issues with their telehealth and referral/ order systems. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. For my first pregnancy, what a terrible experience. My first copay was $150 for what?! I have great insurance. The doctors are not friendly, they schedule you appts before the office is even open. When doing an ultrasound the "tech" didn't let us take any photos or anything and barely did it for 30 seconds and gave no further information. They don't have a direct line to the main office and the number you call the lady barely speaks English and doesn't understand anything you are asking. I did blood work to check my HCG levels and urine and it took them a month and half!!! To even give me my results back. I found a new obgyn by then and thankfully had everything had taken care of. Stay as far away from this place. read more
