We haven't had any routine maintenance done for our HVAC system since we purchased our house in 2016. Joe was able to come out the same day we called for an appointment. He was very transparent with what the process of the maintenance would be, as well as the cost. Throughout the inspection he took pictures to show us, explained the different readings and whether it was considered in range or not, and he suggested a couple of ways to optimize our HVAC system/additional preventative maintenance without being pushy about it. I contacted Joe Sandavol after searching from an older Nextdoor screenshot I had taken last year of someone who had said on Nextdoor how great he was. I contacted him after wasting over $1100 to an A/C company through my own warranty insurance who sent out American heating and air conditioning to repair both my units. All type of add-ons racking up additional charges for customer out of pocket is what they did. Anyway, Less than 30 days, my A/C units, both had shut off, completely stopped running. It was sweltering hot as temperatures outside were approaching 103, inside it was 98 with electrical fans. I called and left a message on his cell. He called me back to let me know he'd come over after he finished up where he was. I asked him if he could come take a look at it for free if I agreed to let him fix it. He said yes, he'd come. This was a couple weeks ago. He texted me when he was on his way. Mr. Sandavol is an ole-G, meaning he's from old school where you were taught to go out and Earn a respectful honest living, and not taught to gather your $$$ by cheating, and misleading. He's very courteous, prompt, he notifies you if there's a delay, he understands that money is tight these days and he's not out to sell you something that's not the solution Just to fatten his pockets like so many do. He will explain to you what's wrong and offer you the best possible solution and even cut his fees a little to help. His professionalism is highly distinguished. He fixed both A/C's by installing a motor in my smaller unit, replaced a bad wire that the other company supposedly done in my larger unit, checked the hot attic where the other parts of the A/C was located for leaks, installed refrigerant, and installed 2 new thermostats inside the home, all for way less than I had to pay out of pocket to the company that my insurance sent, who did a horrible job by the way. Mr. Joe Sandoval called the next day to find out if everything was operating properly and if my house was cool. I haven't experienced service like this since I moved here 2 years ago. Best A/C system service I've had in years. Met Joe for the first time two months ago. I called to get on his schedule and then, because he happened to be goin through the area, stopped by to look it over. Took him only 15 minutes to get us up and running again. The second time was this week. The furnace blower fan in the attic unit started making noises. Again Joe came by, removed 15 year old unit (shaft bearings bad) and replaced it. Attic is very hot this time of year of course but he was prepared so work went quickly. All is good and much quieter now. THX! read more
