After 3 different attempts at fixing my husbands transmission there was finally success or so we thought. The Yukon now slips into reduced speed mode on a regular and leaks oil like it's pissing to save its life. And that would be due to the fact that the rear main seal was not done as they said it would. And upon calling them to ask why we were hung up on multiple times, disrespected beyond belief and told that it wasn't included in the bill. But after finally being able to speak with some asshat manager he proceeded to read off all that was on the service order, and the very first thing was THE REAR MAIN SEAL. When we asked him to read the first repair on the list again he started yelling at us, told us we were crazy and never call there again. Now this is all after they called us and told us the Yukon was ready but upon "test driving" the Yukon in their parking lot there was a loud snapping sound and the Yukon would not move, shift gears and started smoking. Best of luck to anyone that is a customer at this place, is being referred by a customer or business or for the love of god himself has a vehicle there and is waiting the ridiculous wait period to get their vehicle back. If 0 stars could be left that's what I would leave. I strongly urge everyone to read their REAL reviews on yelp. 10 year track record of the same experiences from over 40 people. As a small business owner myself I have never left a negative review for anyone but unfortunately what I experienced here is absolutely unacceptable and fraudulent. I brought my car here after many lights randomly came up on my dashboard. Immediately upon walking in they talked to me poorly but I let it go. I was told it would be $150 for a diagnostic test that would be run that day (I later found out from the proper mechanic; places don't charge for diagnostic tests nor do they make you sign paperwork for it which is what All tech did) A day went by and I heard nothing. I called multiple times and got no response which was a pattern here. Finally I get a call from Kelly who plays a major part in their scamming and scheming. She told me that they are sending over the forms to be signed to run the diagnostic test (which I was told was done the previous day) she urged me to sign it immediately while I was on the phone with her. I explained to her it may be a few minutes because it was being sent to my mothers email and not mine. Immediately that angered her. She began to get aggressive and combative with me and telling me that's stupid and makes no sense even after I explained that's what the guy told me to do when I brought my car there yesterday because I had never used "docusign" before (which also frustrated him) after arguing with me for many minutes she told me to her my email and I stupidly did. She made me sign a contract while on the phone with her for the $150 diagnostic test which I then learned afterwards after bringing it to a REAL mechanic that diagnostic tests are free and you should never sign any contract for it either. I signed it without even reading stupidly because she was aggressive and pressuring me. There is a section that is already printed and checked off for me saying I do not request a written estimate among many other immoral things. I was told the test may take 3-4 hours (it doesn't) so I called at 4 (approx 5 hours after I was once again told the test was being run) and didn't get a response. I called again at 4:30 because they close at 5. When Kelly answered the phone she was stuttering and nervous at me asking for an update on my car. She dragged out a long story about how the technician who was working on my car miraculously somehow got run over my car tire!!!! And he's in the hospital. Not for one second am I believing this bs. She was completely frazzled and making up random details. She then asked me how urgent it is that I get my car fixed.. she asked me if I can just use another one in the meantime and asked me why I keep calling??? I explained to her I would obviously like this done as quick as possible and that's a very weird question to ask someone. She assured me they always try to get it done as quick as possible and that I would hear something the NEXT day. The next day I called 3 times with no response. I was then told my whole transmission needed to be completely taken apart and rebuilt. It would cost $1795 just for labor. When asked how much parts would cost or what parts were needed she didn't know. Cops were nearly involved for me to get my car back. After continuous argument she then said that if I get the transmission done she'll comp the diagnostic test price. lol. I took it to a reliable and trustworthy place afterwards and they told me there absolutely NOTHING wrong with my transmission. I had a faulty sensor and that was all. Diagnostic there cost me $0. And they get many of their unsatisfied customers. All tech tells everyone the same story. They keep their cars there for days and then tell them their whole transmission needs to be rebuilt. LIES. the fact this place is in business is mind boggling to me. The most dishonest, trustworthy people I have ever met in my life. Also 99% of their Google reviews are fake. Yelp needs a 0-star review. To say these guys are 'misleading' is well, 'misleading'. The website coupon is crap, they don't tell you that until they have your transmission spread all over the shop. My $2800 job ended up being $4400. Once again, they quoted one price and delivered another. Their Google reviews (the 5-star) are mostly lies. I was them giving away free oil change with every 5-star review. My transmission lasted 10,000 before it started dumping transmission fluid all over the drive way. Turns out they never tightened down the transmission pan bolts. The transmission shift points are way off. If I try to floor the gas to pass a car, when it shifts out of the passing gear it sounds like the transmission is about to explode. I'm just hoping to limp the vehicle for another year and buy another car. read more

As I was pulling into Home Depot I see a lady throwing trash in the store drain on Seminole Blvd. I looked again to see her tossing a styrofoam cup in the drain then she went back to the building where a man appeared to unlock the door for her. After I parked I called the number on the building which I was looking at. A lady answered and I asked if it was her that was throwing garbage in the drain. She says "You have the wrong number" and hung up on me. This morning a lady calls me from Alltech to ask if I called for a transmission special so I explained my issue to her. She said I was mistaken and that it must have been a customer(remember she answered the phone). I told her that if a business or it's employees have this little regard for the law, common decency or the environment why would I think they will care one bit about doing the right thing for me as a customer. It makes you wonder if someone that works there will stand at the street in broad daylight and blatantly throw garbage on the street where it will end up in our Gulf how do you think they dispose of the hazardous waist a transmission/auto repair shop generates? Very disappointed. Took a bench job to this shop. Had it rebuilt in 2 weeks (not bad but they said 3 days originally). Put it in only to learn, drive was in first gear, neutral kept switching position, reverse was gone. Got the truck in drive, drove one and a half hours to their shop on their request. Told them it was missing gears multiple times. A few days in they called and told us it was a neutral safety switch failure. (That only affects what gear/ how it starts). Reiterated that it's missing gears. Then they said they forgot the roll pin for the shifter. After that they changed their mind and said they don't ever take them out for rebuilds. That they never said they "forgot it". They parked/got the truck stuck behind their building for 3 weeks and forgot about it, even though they were telling us what was wrong. 3 1/2 weeks in, they decide to go drop the trans pan to tell us that the gears were welded together, that the fluid was black and low. That it needed another rebuild. Told them to put it back together and we'd come get it. They called and apologized and said how sorry they were, but that it was because the shifter cable wasn't adjusted properly. Come to find out, the only removed the tran oil pan and told us all this was wrong. 3500.00 down the drain because their guy had no idea what he's doing. Owner even told me how he was in the field for ten years, then left it only to come back and get staff that quit on him. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Be wary, know your stuff. Getting a rebuilt transmission for less than we paid him from monster with a 3 year warranty. read more

Don't even bother. My boyfriend had to call the police in order to get his car back. The first thing they told him when he called is that they deal with this place all the time, multiple calls a day. You can directly call the Largo PD and ask them about it. Suzanne/Molly/Nicole (they're all the same person as she lies about her name) is psychotic. They didn't provide any receipts or information on charges for services rendered when asked until the cops came. Diagnostic was said over the phone to the tune of "yeah, what you said was wrong with it was wrong with it". Was that worth the $149 charge? No, but he agreed to pay that in good faith of having his car immediately back in his possession. It's only a matter of time before they get shut down, although I do have to say they didn't argue with the police when they showed up to help my boyfriend get his car back, probably because they know they don't have a leg to stand on. My boyfriend was kicked out of the place the day prior for simply asking for a receipt which they didn't provide at the time after asking for what they said they would do to be provided in writing, but not before Molly/Nicole/Suzanne claimed he was harassing her for simply requesting for the receipts and copy of the diagnostic information he paid for. She kicked him out immediately and "closed up shop" to withhold his car. Had I been in my boyfriend's position I would have tried to have them charged for fraud and theft. Pathetic. read more

Just don't. I left my car there for 3 hours before a bad feeling led me to check the reviews. First I was told that they wouldn't be able to touch my car until I signed a form they would email. But when I called and said I was coming to pick my vehicle up and did not want the $160 diagnostic test done, the woman said her tech was already taking it for a test drive. When I said I didn't sign the form giving them permission, she said they wouldn't charge me for that but I had to argue about my need and desire to pick my car up. My this time, my anxiety was at an all time high. When I got there, a man was wiping off my steering wheel and door. When I got in it, the drivers seat and passenger seat were covered in oil. I didn't think to look up until I got home. How TF am I supposed to get this out of the fabric??? Thank God I I got my van before anything else was done. Well let me start by saying that Kelly was nice for the most part when we spoke, we both had our moments. I called in on one of they're internet specials for $995, after speaking with Kelly for 5 min, I was up sold to $1395 because I had truck(ok I get it). Through conversation with Kelly, I had mention several times how great the price was for a rebuild on a transmission. She corrected me and clarified that I would have roughly $700 in parts, so now the job was gonna be around $2500, I even added another $1500 in my mind for the job. So I mediate to tow my truck down there at the cost of $200 each way. The shop had me sign a work order and explain that this would go towards the bill if I chose to do the work. A few days later I get a call from the technician, so I cal back in be told that it's gonna be more Like $7100 to fix. I told them it wasn't worth the money to me to fix, so just button my truck back up and I'll move on. At this point I'm told that parts were broken and the truck could not be put back together. I admit the truck had over 280k, but when I brought it there the truck moved and ran. I argued for days with the shop about this unique situation and possibly getting some sort of deal worked out. By the end of all this, I had my truck picked up with the transmission in the bed of the truck in a box. I'm out $1395 for a labor only cost, because according to them that's what it cost to dismantle my truck. At this juncture it left a bad taste in mouth. Sure they offered to reduce the price down to $5500 which is miles away from the original quote. End of day, I'm sure they thrive and support this shop off the back of hard working people and they're "Iron Clad Contract". I admit I should of read the disclosures, cause they make sure you can't dispute any charges no matter what. It's been a hard pill to swallow, thankfully I will be ok without you his extra $1400 in my pocket. After giving them the specifics about our car we were quoted one price on the phone & then given a totally different price later and I mean thousands more. We requested a new written quote be given to us and they WOULD NOT provide one. They also wanted all labor costs to be paid UPFRONT. You should NEVER have to pay for labor upfront, parts yes but labor no. Hi, I called about getting my car's transmission fixed. Saved up to pay for their special (which sounds pretty nice, honestly). The lady taking my information then heavily pushed a credit company called "EasyPay." That was fine because, it would be nice to go ahead and get the car fixed while still having some money left over. However, even after agreeing to use the system, she kept selling me on it. Then, she started "advising" me on how to make sure that I'm approved. This continued as she kept asking more and more invasive questions about my income, about my job, etc. Finally, she asked me to pay the whole $950 before anyone had even LOOKED AT MY CAR! I told her that I didn't feel comfortable paying for something that hadn't been done yet and she immediately started criticizing me and told me that I didn't have the money. Look, I don't care. This guy, Mark, will not listen or do what you tell him. The temperature gauge on my 2008 GMC Envoy would intermittently not read anything causing an error light to come and keeping the air conditioner from running. I told him to check the connection to the engine temperature sensor or "sender" and sensor itself. Instead, he replaced a thermostat and charged me $300. A bad thermostat will not cause the electronic temperature sensor to fail to read. They held my car hostage because it would have been $188 to take it home with nothing done to it except reading error code that Auto Zone does for free and (they claim) 2 hours of so-called troubleshooting. This place does not troubleshoot; they just replace stuff and suggest you dump even more money into it for "preventative maintenance". I should have taken it to the GM dealer that has the proper analyzer and knows what they are doing! I was starting a new job and this situation had me riled up all week. Also, the woman there drove me and my wife nuts every time we called her with long winded stories about buying a new printer and excuses why they cannot assure me they fixed the problem. She was so evasive and full of double talk that even Donald Trump would lose a debate with her; she will tire you out. If the problem comes back, they are going to have hell to pay! I am tired of paying through the nose for lousy service by incompetent people! My wife spent half the day there arguing with them, and I spent hours hounding them on the phone trying to get them to do what I asked. They will not give you a copy of the contract after they charge you and you authorize them to do the work. Then when you come back to get your keys they won't give them to you because they "have to charge you more" for work that wasn't authorized and can't be proven that it was done. DON'T GO TO ALL TECH TRANSMISSIONS in Largo, Florida. I took my van there on 1/27/2020 to have the transmission diagnosed. I was told by Kelly and Marko Orlando that the diagnosis would be $149. I told them to let me know if it could be fixed and what would be the estimate to repair transmission. At 4:30 pm Kelly called me and told me the transmission had to be rebuilt and it would be $995 plus parts. I asked her the what the total would be but she would not give me a price after talking to her for 20 minutes. I told her I would pick up my van in the morning and asked her how much I owed her. She said $149. I went to pick up my vehicle the next day and Kelly said the bill was $338.66. I told her I thought it was $149, so because I didn't get my van repaired there, she more than doubled the price of the repair. I had to call the Sheriff's Department to get my van. In the mean time Kelly asked for my receipt which she altered while the Sheriff's were there and would not give me a receipt except the altered one. I paid the jacked up bill and finally got my van back. I have never been treated like this in any business I have visited. My review is along the same lines as Frank C. Maybe at one time they were honest. We had a problem with the throttle body on our 2011 Ford Fusion, and dropped it off to All-Tech because of the convience of being across the street from work. After searching the internet I found out that the problem we were experiencing was under a no charge warranty through Ford. We immediately called All-Tech and told them of the situation and to NOT do anything. They did a diagnoses anyway and charged us $190 dollars. Then the slick receptionist gave us a story of how Ford would remburse us,and a 1-800 # and a case #. Ford said no way. Not only did they scam us but were trying to scam Ford as well. Buy the way when we paid the $220 final bill,the battery was dead and had to be replaced because it had a crack in it fron someone jamming the negitive battery terminal back on. On Wednesday 11/1/17 around 2:30pm, I took my car to an Alltech located at 2227 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL 33778. Ph #: 727-559-5900. . A woman named Molly greets my friend and I. I informed her that I just wanted a diagnostic test to be done to see what is wrong with my car. She said, well it is $895 to reserve your car in the bay because you don't want to leave it outside because it might get stolen. The .price also includes other diagnostic tests. I handed my car key and two credit cards. She never once informed me that they were going to take my car apart. She told me that the $895 does not include parts. Molly never gave me a copy of the work order. The next day, 11/2/17 I called at 730am. I left a message. I didn't reach someone until 830 am, he said his name is Brian and he is the mechanic. I told him that I do not want anyone to touch my car I changed my mind. Then I called again blocking my number and a woman picked up. I introduced myself and what kind of car I owned? She starts to yell and threaten me. A few hours later, another friend of mine accompanied me, I also called the sheriff department. Two sheriffs arrive at Alltech. I informed them of what was going on. I told them that I was too scared to go to Alltech by myself because Molly or whomever had threatened me on the phone. They touched my car without my authorization. The $895 didn't include touching my car. It only included my car rental, diagnostic test, and to keep my car overnight in the bay instead of outside their shop so that it wouldn't get stolen. The sheriffs went inside the shop and were there for at least 20 mintues, they come outside and inform me that my car will not be ready until Friday, 11/3/17 at 5pm. They weren't supposed to touch my car at all. I didn't authorize that. I told the sheriffs. On Friday, (11/3/17) in the late morning, Alltech calls me and it is Molly's husband, he tells me that my car is ready now and all you have to do is pay the taxes of $895 and sign a release form to get your car back. I question him, "so what is wrong with my car?" He says, "Oh, I don't know, you told us to not touch your car so we took it apart and then we just put it back together and now you are paying the $895. They even put the diagnostic test charge on it but they never did a diagnostic test. After signing the fake work order also known as the sign of release form and paying the taxes of the $895. I was charged $478.82 twice which comes out to $957.64 plus $62.65 which equals to $1020.29. Alltech double charged my sales tax. read more

BEWARE! This is a very dishonest and unethical business. Mark and Nicole, the owners, gave my daughter an estimate of $1,030 to replace the clutch and a bearing on her 15 year-old car. My daughter agreed to have the repairs done, but when she came to pick it up her bill had gone up to OVER $4,000! Mark had done a bunch of additional repairs without so much as contacting her to get her approval. For TWO WEEKS the owners refused to budge (and Nicole acting violently angry every time my daughter came in to get her car). At one point Mark told her to come and get it but when she got there, he wouldn't go through with it unless she signed a note stating that she had agreed to the $4,000 and that she wouldn't write bad reviews online. We had to involve an attorney and the Sheriff's Department, and it was only after a very real threat of legal action against them that they finally agreed to let my daughter pay the initial quoted price and release the car. We have found out since that there are NUMEROUS complaints of similar cases against them, as well as some ongoing lawsuits. read more

Last night my alternator on my truck died at Pet-Land in Largo.First thing this morining I went to get info and a quote to get my alternator changed at ALLTECH, right around the corner on Seminole BLVD and they told me it would take a few days. my car was disabled in the parking lot of their business (dead battery). I told them I was going to look to have it replaced sooner but If I failed to find expedited services they would have the job. They said OK, just leave the key in the box when you are ready and we'll do the work. I went next door to HOOVER AND SONS and they said they could do it same day. That made me happy as I have work I need to do. I went to get my pathfinder move it to the shop that would be doing the work, while walking across the parking lot of ALLTECH I was approached by the owner MARC ORLANDO and was ordered to get off his property, I told him I was leaving with my truck in a few minutes. I also asked him to contact the authorities, as we had no further dialogue.. I was yelled at and cursed at by the owners and staff at ALLTECH for choosing the shop next door. I was insulted and threatened I began recording A/V for my protection and they retreated inside. I was able to move my car to HOOVER AND SONS by borrowing a battery from the owner, Chuck Hoover, he took it out of his OWN CAR to help me move mine (with dead battery). A police officer showed up when my vehicle was removed from ALLTECH and parked at HOOVER AND SONS. I explained how things went and waited for him to speak with MARC ORLANDO at ALLTECH to see if I was going to receive a trespassing warning.The police officer came back out and said 'that guy is an asshole, i probably would have punched him in the face, you're free to go' Marc Orlando or someone at ALLTECH called the police because I decided to have the business next door do the work and they didnt like it. I expect the service at HOOVER AND SUNS to be FAR SUPERIOR to ALLTECH.. The gang at ALLTECH was rude, belligerent and obviously disgruntled. I believe there is some 'beef' between these two shops. On one side there is ALLTECH: angry, aggressive and I'd assume they do crappy work. BEWARE. read more
