This place initially blew me away with their design and modern looks. That was short lived when we encountered the worst experience ever. Make sure fine print is read before signing any contract, this place provided verbal agreements and went back on their promises a week prior to event, this eventually led us to cancel the event. What an amazing event venue! We had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration at Allure a couple of weeks ago. David promised us a "Club" vibe and he really delivered! Seriously delivered. He even had a security guard play up the role of "Bouncer." The lighting and special effects were unmatched by any other venue I've seen in the San Fenando Valley - neon walls, LEDs, uplights, moving lights built into the ceiling, projecting moving images onto the dance floor. A drop-down screen projected our photo/video with amazing sound. Fog machine for the grand entrance. A stage. All in-house! Our seating assignments were projected on mirrors in the foyer with a custom image and logo - no need for place cards - they took care of everything. And, outside, there was a full red carpet with stancions and a step & repeat - everyone loved it! I was tentative at first, but we served adult food family style, and I'm glad we did. It was really fun, and the food was GOOD...unusually good for a banquet hall. Even the kids ate! And, it was presented beautifully. This is a one-stop-shop - David makes it easy and worry-free for the customer, but there's still plenty of room to customize your event and "make it your own." Don't let the word "banquet" fool you. This venue is "cool" whether you want an elegant white wedding or a club party. High end finishes make it sophisticated. They book fast though, so get over there! read more

Wow. Everytime we look back at the pictures and videos from our wedding back on 11/10/17, we become speechless. Quick story from my wife and I. We originally had our eyes set on a few other venues for our wedding, we even coordinated with the church and these venues for a specific date already. Through some sort of a miracle or divine intervention, my Wife received an e-mail from David a week after we've made some pretty concrete decisions for our reception venue to tell us that we can come in and see Allure for a tour. My wife saw pictures from various sources of Allure and really wanted to see it in person as it was at the top of the venues she wanted to book even though we sort of made a decision already. So we went, we first went into the Crystal ballroom which is the smaller one and it already set the tone for us, it was beautiful but did not have the capacity for our expected guests. Then there it was, the Star ballroom. The moment we walked in, I saw the eyes of my future wife glistening, she gave me a look and at that point I knew, this was it. She made up her mind and my mind without saying a word, we just instantly knew we found our venue. We then took it to the office to talk about numbers, I was apprehensive because I just knew such a perfect venue would not be feasible for our budget. Boy was I wrong, I was dumbfounded when he finished explaining the pricing and contract. I could not agree and try to sign the contract faster than I could ecer have. We even had to call the Church to move our wedding day because our original date was already booked (understandably so). From that point forward, David really went out of his way to accommodate us in every way possible. Their staff and business partners were beyond helpful. The open bar they provided was top of the line and had everybody ready to party. They were professional in every sense of the word. I was connected with Mrs Annie Levonian to help me with the catering. Annie was very professional and helpful. Not only did she help me with the menu, she put together almost everything, rentals, staging decorations and more. Full service. The night of my party, Annie came to make sure everyone and everything was done properly, that made me feel relaxed. This place was beyond perfect. I booked the venue for my son's first birthday. I have never thrown a huge event before and didn't know what to expect with my limited budget. I was so skeptical about it because I recently lost two of my sisters and am struggling with funeral expenses and taking custody of their children. I was very scared to throw this event but so insistent upon making a happy memory for my family. David, was the person who helped me plan. He was so caring and ready to accommodate all of my wishes. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually wish I could've paid more. I was so pleased with the service that I hugged him after! Everything was managed so smoothly. What an amazing staff, not to mention the beautiful designed Banquet. In the last 28 years I have been a guest at banquet type restaurants and hosted many events at banquets, never EVER had I ran into amazing staff!! The staff were beyond helpful and accommodating. They were kind and generous with their work ethics. I messed up on the seating but they kept reassuring me to relax and enjoy my event and let them handle everything, while calling it a little obstacle. The sitting situation is one of the most difficult and anticipated obstacles of Armenian events even when you do your best. This was not a little obstacle. It was definitely avoidable on my part. I felt sad for the stress I caused them. They pulled it through with such professionalism and grace. It was a breath of fresh air. I love Allure's management team. The worst experience ever!!!!! Just want to preface this by saying this rating is solely on the customer service experience. Booked a wedding here and David wanted to charge extra for the tables, chairs, clean up after the event if the place was left too dirty by the guests (seriously? that's what a banquet hall is for!), etc. Everything "additional" seemed to be $250 more (when other banquet halls include everything in one price). The place is beautiful, so against intuition, booked this place for the wedding. 2 weeks later wanted to go with another hall that didn't charge extra for everything so asked David for the deposit and he refused to give it back - which I understand the deposit is to secure the date...I get all that, but there was still 9 months until the wedding. In this business, customer service is the key and such a crucial part of the interaction, but he didn't want to accommodate at all. A few months later, at a wedding at Allure he saw us and apparently wanted to do service recovery and he mentioned that he wants to make things right and we should go back to him, but the other hall was already booked so we said we might go back for a shower. He said sure, that would be fine, just to let him know when so he could make sure the date is available. We didn't have a good experience with him the first time, but we decided to go back to give him another shot. First, I texted him on a Tuesday and said I'd be there at 6:30 (which he said was perfect) and I arrived around 6:45 and called him, he texts me back and says "sorry I can't talk right now" WTH??? I made the trip there and you can't talk right now??? So I left and he texts me an hour later saying "sorry I was with clients, can you come on Thursday? WTH???? I'm not a client? What kind of customer service is this? And apparently, that same day, on or around the same time, he was "with good friends having dinner after a nice hike" (according to a social media post). So I go back on Thursday even though I didn't have a good feeling about it already, we talk about the details, sit down to talk about the cost and using the deposit for the shower and he says straight out that the deposit can not be used for the shower. WTH???? You said we can do that, but no, he said he left that option on the table and since we didn't say anything, the offer didn't stand anymore. Basically the offer expired. WTH??? That's not what he said earlier. What a LIAR!!!!! Anyway, David just seemed like a dirty, crooked businessman. I get that he didn't want to give the deposit back, that's all fine. I understand that, but not being able to work with us to use the hall for a shower after he specifically told us that we can do that, was just so rude! David has no level of professionalism and no understanding of what customer service is about. Customer service 101 - always make the customer happy...David failed miserably. Didn't want the money back, just waned to be able to work out another day/a different event. Seems like he was just after the money. read more

I just had my wedding their last night, and it was amazing; from the service, the food, the lights, the sound, the staff, each and every aspect was on point and provided with the upmost care and professionalism, yet they made us feel right at home. I look at the details when it comes to a venue, and the two most important details I look at is the service and the food. The service, bar none, is without a shadow of a doubt has been the best service that I have ever seen with any other venue I have been at. Caring, always asking if we need anything, always looking out for the guests no matter what it was; that is top notch service! And the food, my God is it impeccable! This isn't your cookie cutter, kabob and fish type menu. You have choices of lamb, filet mignon, tiger prawns (if you haven't had these, you should, outstanding), different other delicious main courses, the appetizers were amazing, not your traditional salads either. The venue itself is very beautiful, very modern, clean. Lastly, I just want to recognize David, the manager, the man that runs the show, for giving my wife and I along with our guests the most amazing wedding experience we could ever ask for! This man went above and beyond what we possibly could even imagine, and it was genuine, you can tell him and his staff cared about our wants and desires and made them happen every step of the way, from catering my in laws home in the morning, to the ceremony at Malibu beach, down to the reception party to end the best day of our lives. I just had my wedding at this venue and all I have to say is it was a great experience. David was available when I need to confirm things or if I or my mother had any questions (we had a lot and he was still super pleasant and kind). Payments were easy to make with him, the food tasting was amazing and it gave us our opportunity to pick out our napkins and table linens (we were allowed 6 people to come when other places only allowed 2-3). We ended up having issues with our previous dj and David eased our minds by telling us he always had back ups and back ups for back ups. So just knowing if anything went wrong with our vendors we had another option that was easily accessible through our venue definitely eased my mind. The wait staff the night of our wedding were amazing. They were very attentive and so helpful whenever we had questions. They made sure we had everything we needed and if we did need something they brought it to us within seconds. The venue itself is so beautiful. It is clean, big, and the bathrooms and bridal suite are so beautiful and clean. Now if none of that convinced you to go to this place then hopefully this will... we had a bag of money that we forgot at the venue. Of course we thought it would be like any other place and they would give us a hard time with getting our money back or our bag would be open and money would be missing but nope. David made sure that we knew he would check all the videos but before we even had to do that the wait staff had left the bag of money, unopened (tied the way we left it), with all of the things I went to pick up the next day. So, the waitstaff definitely was AMAZING. If I had another event I would come back to this venue for sure. read more

My Husband and I chose to have our wedding at Allure for multiple reasons. The interior decor where the ceremony and reception is held just takes your breath away. When we sat down with David and asked our questions, we received back elaborate answers which led to more questions that we had not thought to ask. David took the time to sit with us and walk us through what the event would entail from beginning to end.The price for such a beautiful place is more than reasonable and if you book in advance, he allows for you to make small payments. If you budget and book with ample amount of time, you won't feel like you are being drowned with bills! We booked majority of our vendors with him too (catering, violinist, photographer and full bar)! The ability to keep track of all the event items in one bill was amazing. David and his team set their standards so high that we had to book at Allure. As the months progressed and we closed in on our event we waited for something to pop up at the last minute but it never happened. David and his staff always seemed to be three steps ahead of us and always making wonderful recommendations. The ability to interact with someone on a regular basis made us feel very comfortable due to the personal relationship that developed. Relief and relaxation emerged as our big day neared and our bill was finally paid in full. You also get the benefit of food tasting! If you want to spoil your guests, this is the place! I was looking for a place to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were planning to invite about 150 guests and wanted to have great food, great atmosphere, music, dances. Many of our friends professional singers, musicians and dancers and we needed a place where we can let them congratulate my wife in their own unique way. We found it all in Allure. First, the management is really accommodating. They helped us to plan the whole ceremony, to decorate the foyer, and helped with lighting. They even had a surprise for us - during our dance (my wife and I) suddenly was a colorful fog and lights. The guests cheered and clapped. It was really beautiful. The food was superb, the waiters and the whole crew very professional. Two huge screens at the two sides of the hall allowed us to show our videos that we prepared for the birthday girl - and everyone, from all places, were able to see the screens.
