Okay so in short: Millie is amazing. I've had my lashes done by a few different lash artists and one even ruined my lashes a year ago so I put off eyelash extensions for a while (over a year). I did a lot of research and Millie had great reviews (for good reason) and I'm so glad I decided to go to her! Walking into Allure, it's very comfortable and relaxing. Her entire set up is clean and cute! My first time visiting - I had no idea how lash sizes or curl works (no one ever really told me) but she explained it to me and told me what would compliment my eye shape. I let her do her thing and the results were amazing! I got a hybrid set and I go back every two or three weeks for a hybrid fill. I am more than satisfied every time! She also tells you how to take good care of them which I really appreciate. Millie is incredibly talented and a very sweet woman. You can tell she takes pride in her work and consistently strives to be better. She is also very gentle and thorough. I don't trust anyone else near my eyes. I have been going to her for a bit now and I will not go to anyone else! If you're looking to get your lashes done, definitely go to Millie! I came here from their volume training class (that was $50), and lasted 4 hours long. The trainee did great, despite the long while it took, although not the set I wanted (the trainee made sure all my lashes were properly isolated). I went in for an infill at their regular location and the lash artist (Cara) did great on one lash but absolutely horrible on the other. My right lash line was irritated and painful for a few days until they were available to fit me in to check my lashes. I had improper isolation throughout my lash line on my right eye and I felt Cara pluck my natural lash off my lash line. When I asked her, "did you pluck my lash off?" she replied, "huh?" and I then repeated myself, and she did not respond. I then felt her stab my lash line with a tweezer and that hurt quite bad. She was gentle when removing the lashes that were not properly isolated, but did not have time to do an infill for me so another lash tech did my infill after she removed a bunch of false lashes. The infill on my right lash line was not bad, but clearly was not as full as my left lash. It looked horrible after merely two days after a VOLUME infill. Disappointed and do not plan to go back. I messaged them about how my right eye is disproportional to my left and all they told me was that I can go in to have them "removed". WTH? They then told me that it was because of my lashes (that it is not full) which is so funny because my left lash is much more sparse than my right lash line. So how in the world were they able to achieve a fuller look on a lash line that had less?? All I requested was a full volume infill, and to look pretty. Yet I was met with petty attitude. First time customer and newbie to lash extensions. Had a great conversation on the phone and scheduled a hybrid lash appt - $189.99. Current discount price. Got a confirmation right away for a hybrid full set. When I met the lash technician she confirmed hybrid lashes. Then she asked what I like. I told her I wear wispies from Target. The cheap 6 pack that glue on. I wanted to do something special for an event I have next week but didn't want to look over done. She showed pictures and I told her which ones I liked. 90 minutes later I go to check out and discover she attached wispy lashes (didn't know this was a thing at the salon as I booked hybrid), for $249. What the heck. I feel like they took advantage of my lack of knowledge and showed me pictures of lashes that were not hybrid so I would be forced to pay the higher amount. I called the company as soon as I got home. She said she would look into it and call back. Never did. So disappointed in this experience as I am local and would have liked to have this as an option for special celebrations. The lashes look fine but not worth $249. They keep falling off as well. Maybe that's usual in the first 24-48 hours? I don't know. I was given no aftercare instruction other than don't get wet for 24 hours and use their pink bottle of soap afterwards. I'm not used to spending this kind of money on my appearance so I think I expected more. At the very least, if you do choose to go there, no matter what you confirm on the phone, double check what you will be charged right before they start the process. You are forewarned. read more

Millie is amazing. She is always very accommodating with my schedule. I'm not as picky with the style of my lashes, but she introduced me to wispy lashes and I will not go back! My lashes are very weak and sparse, so we started off with classic lashes so that they can grow thicker and stronger with the serum she sells. (Eyenvy) now that my lashes are much longer, I am coming back for hybrid lashes! Half classic and half volume! You really get what you're paying for. You won't find better in the area. I love it when I can feel her removing the older grown out lashes so that she can apply fresh new ones! She also sprays your lashes at the end and fan dries them so that you don't have to spend as much time preventing them from getting wet! I don't even know where to begin with this raving review!!! First, I called Allure to see if they could squeeze me in that evening for a gel mani and pedicure and the woman I spoke to on the phone was so nice and overly accommodating! When I arrived to Allure, I was instantly blown away by the beautiful decor right when walking in the door. This place is decorated so beautifully and is so tasteful, I could not stop looking around from one pretty thing to the next. And let me tell you, you could eat off the floors in this place. SPOTLESS is an understatement. I was so impressed by how neat and clean Allure was. It was evident the staff here is taking extra precautionary measures for sanitation during COVID times and I felt so safe here. Also to note, I filled out a COVID waiver and they took my temperature upon arriving. The place smells SO nice and every product used smelled better than the last. I saw Kenny for my gel mani and pedicure and I am once again, so impressed. Kenny was thorough and even though I was the last appointment of the night and we went past closing time, he still took his time to deliver an exceptional experience and amazing services. He shaped my nails perfectly, which I have had a hard time finding someone who does!! His technique was excellent and I was so relaxed the whole time. The whole experience was beyond 5 stars and I cannot wait to go back again. Allure is my new favorite "me time" spot. During our first appointment, she was friendly, listened, and made suggestions on what style lashes I should try, what will look good, and what will work with the shape of eyes I have. Now, we're at the point where I just hand my lashes over to her while I take a quick one hour nap and wake up looking beautiful! She is a genuine lash artist with so much heart and passion in what she does. She is always continuing to learn new skills and refining her current skills to give her customers the best lashes. The only thing this place cares about is money and they do not care about the quality of work they produce or the experience that you have as a client. The first time I went here it was my birthday and as I was logging in to their system I was met with a message that said they do 10% off as a birthday discount. As it was my birthday I asked them if I could get the 10% off birthday discount and also offered to show them my license. I was then told that I was unable to get the discount unless I was able to show them in email that said I qualified for the birthday discount which they never sent me in the first place. They then let me know that they could offer me 10% off at my next appointment instead. So, I went back a second time and got an eyelash lift and tint. The entire time my lashes were being lifted my eyes were in pain and burning. She left the room and when she came back to remove what was on my eyelashes and I was able to open my eyes, my eyes were burning uncontrollably. They literally would not stop pouring tears uncontrollably and I could barely open my eyes to the point that she had to give me a fan to have aimed at my face for 20 minutes following my appointment. As I was sitting there she said that it was probably because I opened my eyes too early meanwhile all of my eyelashes were lifted in the completely wrong direction facing my inner corner which explains the pain/burning to me. And no 10% discount as they had told me I'd receive from my last appointment. I went back one more time solely because this is the only eyebrow location that is conveniently located for me and it was somehow the worst experience I've had thus far. I got a brow lamination, tint, and wax and during the entire lamination and tent process was hovered over by two workers who are laughing gossiping while they're 2 inches from my face with their knees hitting the table by my head. If the rooms are the small do you not have two people in them during an appointment. When I was finished, my eyebrows looked caked with wax and looked so bad to the point that I went home and tried to scrub off over $100 worth of the money I just spent. Not to mention, when I booked the appointment online they were advertising $126 for the service I got discounted from $140 which is why I booked the appointment. As I was cashing out the girl said it would be $140 so I showed my booking for $126. They told me this was only if you paid in cash which should be made much clearer on your website or I wouldn't have booked in the first place. She got her boss who told me she'd only give me the discount because it was during a snowstorm. I called the next day to let them know how disappointed I was in the service and they told me the girl was training which is why the were hovering over me. Even if that was the case, you should advertise these appointments as training appointment and should give a discount on the service because nobody wants an hour long appointment of two people hovering over their face while their eyes are closed. All that was offered was 10% off at my next service which they obviously won't honor and doesn't suffice to wasting $130. Needless to say I will never go back. read more
