I've been there a quite a few times now and thought I'd give them some love. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how nice and clean the salon looked. The ladies were nice, but I only deal with Jackie, and she is a real gem. I know I get carried away sometimes and can be a little demanding, but Jackie always works hard to accommodate, and I wanted to let her know I appreciate her. My nails always turn out great. If you're like me and dislike waiting too long, which can happen anywhere really, I'd suggest coming in on the early weekdays when everyone else is at work. Btw, what's with all the hate? Came in for a pedicure. The lady wasn't gentle and didn't take her time. The pedicure I choose was $38.00 because I like the extra massage. She only did 10 of the 15 min and the hot stones were cold. Not impressed at all. I will not be coming back. The only good thing is it's clean and they play good music. Too pricey for the work they do. read more

I think this place needs to work on their customer service. After letting one of the employees know that I need a fill, I sat down. I was next in line. Then, I proceeded to wait for 45 minutes only to have the only lady there that did manicures, take another customer before me. When I politely asked her how much longer, she informed me that I would need to wait another 30 minutes, but that they would be closing soon anyway. I was extremely disappointed that no one bothered to let me know 5 minutes in, 10 minutes in, 20 minutes in, 30 minutes in, that I shouldn't waste my time. Will not be going back to this place. The nail salon is really nicely decorated. They had time for me (I was a walk in) I went in around 5-6pm and it wasn't busy. They don't advertise prices well. SO many color to pick from!! Like almost too many! It's also not noted that some nail colors are more than other. They have a big screen TV where they play music videos on. (At least that's what was playing when I was there.) I hate to bash any business but some deserve it. I came here on a Sunday late afternoon and there were 3 ladies working. Two were working on the only customer there. The third one was just chilling waiting for a customer. She seated me quick and started my pedicure quick. I went for a regular mani and pedi. I dont like the price options. The price goes from $29 for basic to $52 for upgrade to callous remover and massage. Nothing in between. They did such a poor job with all of it. Not worth an upgrade at all! She doesnt know how to masage or use the hot rocks. She rubbed the rocks on my skin as if the rock was a toothbrush. Why offer this service without any training? The massage chair was terrible, loud, and only worked in the neck area. They have at least 10 chairs and they were all vacant so not sure why I was told to sit in a chair that doesnt work! The worst part is the terrible quality of the polish and the paint job. I also didnt get the much needed cuticle trim instead I received no effort to even remove my old polish all the way or decent cuticle removal. After I went home. I ate dinner and was washing my hands when I look down and see my polish has basically deteriorated with in a few hours. I have to take their polish off and re paint myself. Wow. Never had polish come off the SAME DAY! I think she left my nail bed oily before painting. Poor quality, waste of money. I will not go back! It's hard enough to afford this and I only get to a salon a fee times a year. This is so disappointing. read more

Nail salon from hell..! Walked out furious. Called in made an appointment to get a manicure. The manicurist started, filed my nails, removed cuticles and started buffing, another customer walks in wanting to the whole package, she abandons me and asks the receptionist to take over mine...ok unprofessional...it doesn't stop there. The receptionist could not identity the difference between a base coat and a top coat and trouble identifying the nail vials. She walks over to another manicurist and gets the stash. When the receptionist started applying the base coat, her hands were so shaky it was making me so nervous. It does not stop there. I asked for an upside down heart on my ring finger (reverse heart) she said she can't do it because the nail artist was not there...she gave me the biggest attitude. She was not apologetic but was a total B! Seriously young receptionist you are in a customer service environment, get your attitude together and be more courteous to you customers especially if you are doing my nails illegally! (You are violating the law) I will never recommend this place to anyone because my experience here obviously proved to me that they discriminate against minimal paying clients. My mom and i used to come here a lot until they got new management i assume because it was not like it used to be. We came here in May 2021 when things started to reopen and when we left we knew we were not coming back. Our pedicures were extremely painful as they kept picking and digging deep into my cuticles after i told them it hurt. My mom has sensitive nails and when we left her fingers were sore and pretty red. I definitely don't recommend this place for anything. Also Jaclyn is so rude. So, I desperately needed a lip wax and decided to give this place a shot since it's close to work and I was on my lunch. I walk in and there is only one lady getting a pedi on a massage chair. There is a man at the desk whom I tell what I need and ask if they accept card. He points out a sign that their is a minimum of $14 for card payment. Since it was my first time he said it was fine and asks me to wait a minute, waited about 5 min. I sit down and am looking around and notice that besides the girl working on the pedi and the man at the desk their are 3 other employees. They are not doing anything or helping anyone including the man at the front desk. I also notice that they do not have any signs posted of pricing for services ,which I find sketchy. The place however looks nice and has a TV inside. One of the workers calls me back into the room and tells me they will be right with me. In about 3 minutes the girl who was working on the pedi, Hana, walks in to do my wax. She was super sweet, talkative and thanked me for waiting. This whole time I am thinking "from all the workers they had me wait for the one that was already doing something,"but I figured she was done. Once we are done I see that the lady getting the pedicure is still waiting and Hana goes back to finish the job. I felt bad for her and thought she was the Cinderella of the place doing all the work while everyone else is twiddling fingers. When I go up to pay the man which checked me tells me it's $8. I give him my card and let him know to please add $2 for Hana since I did not have cash. He says yes but sighs and gives me an ugh face. He gets up to swipe my card on the machine and I don't know what he did but slams his hand down hard on the card swipe and the roll of paper receipt pops out and the machine flips over. I was shocked and wondering what the hell was his problem. He composed the machine and input an amount and slid my card again. He gave me my receipt and asked me to sign. He was pissy and had that UGH LOOK. I will not come back but feel bad for Hana:-( read more

I really liked this place, I never had an issue and it was close to my house. Two weeks ago I decided to go in for a regular pedi and a gel with hard gel which is $5 extra on top of the gel mani. The lady who did my toes did great but the girl who was doing the hard gel had absolutely no idea what she was doing. They told me the total was $50 which sounds reasonable, but when I got home I noticed I was charged $60. Yes, I tipped cash. I called the manager back and let her know what had happened, she said it'd be fine to go in and talk to her but I told her to just discount it off my next mani since I'm always there every two weeks. She agreed, now I called she said it was a color removal fee. Wtf? Lol. I didn't argue, and I said okay but I will not be coming back. I went in thinking of getting a pedicure to try to relax and was overwhelmed by the fumes of products. In addition to the headache inducing fumes employees were bantering back and forth in an aggressive manner apparently arguing about something (I think Vietnamese) but it wasn't in English so I have no idea what the perceived dispute was over. A lady in a rude fashion motioned me to have a seat and wait but I opted to flee the premises. If you enjoy this unventilated sweat shop then more power to you. But I will stay away from the human trafficking vibe. I had noticed another nail salon in the same shopping center and plan on giving that one a try as this is obviously not the place for me. read more

I am SO RELIEVED that a clean, friendly, and cost effective nail salon opened in this shopping center and is giving me an alternative to Professionail (a business which is flawed in many ways, but that's a different story). If you look at my reviews, you can see that I've been to my fair share of nail salons and that I usually expect a top notch prices/service/results. This place knocks my socks off. Seriously, this is the greatest thing to happen to the neighborhood since the renovation of Target. The staff was pleasant, the prices were reasonable, and the work product was on par with what I usually expect. Vietnamese chatter was kept to a minimum, there were no high pressure upsells, and I was very pleased with the overall atmosphere. The night that my mom and I went in, our nails were in terrible shape and we needed mani/pedis in the worst possible way. We stopped by to check things out, only to find that they closed in 9 minutes. We were willing to leave and come back another time, but the fantastic staff at Allure took us anyways! Okay before you come here, make sure you ask the prices of what you're doing. They seriously were trying so hard to squeeze the money out of us. My sister got acrylics on two fingers because they were broken, and they charged her $10, $5 a nail, even though they told us that a full set would only be $30. We called over the phone to ask prices about gel pedicures, and they clearly said $26. When we went to pay for our services, they claimed t was $34. Absolutely ridiculous. She also got her nails cut way too short, even though she said she just wanted a trim. I got just gel color on my toes, and they painted it on my skin.. on each toe. The lady doing my nails did it so haphazardly. She literally wasn't even looking at what she was doing 70% of the time. She was just looking out the door and day dreaming. But the male worker and the front desk worker were so rude. I even heard a lady next to us say "ow you got my skin." And the lady just nodded and didn't even apologize. Unbelievable. I've had way better. I would come here in a pinch, but would never go out of the way to come here. They are very sloppy with their paint job and they don't have a bunch of good colors. My pedicure was just ok - they didn't seem to mind that I was in pain when they were cutting my nails but I've also had worse. My toes came out super sloppy but I didn't mind because it's just my toes so you can barely tell. On the other hand, my mom was not happy with her manicure. There was paint all over the sides of her fingers and after 30 minutes of lamenting, she went back to get it redone. read more

Very nice, clean salon, the nicest around here I've seen. Most salons are usually kinda dingy with cheesy decor. The staff are very friendly too. I get my nails done by Cali, he's a cool dude! He is speedy, without taking away any quality. I was there today, and I noticed how involved the owner is. He walks around to all the customers and makes sure everyone is happy, and that his employees are all stocked up on their items. Their pricing is very fair as well, which is nice. The only thing is that you cannot add a tip to credit card payments, so make sure you always have some cash on you for tipping! read more

Came in for mani and got lured in to get gel instead. I always get gel and I wanted my nails to recover but I fell into this temptation. Solid colors are 25, which is considered to be a "good price" Only thing that made me raise my eyebrows was.... The lady didn't even soak my hand but went straight in to painting my nails with base and gel color and then AFTER (without soaking my nails) she put cuticle oil and took care of my cuticles.... She said something like gel would last longer if it's not soaked in water first... But I'm not sure about that. Because I know my cuticles are less noticeable when I paint my nails compare to when it is naked.... So I felt like she wanted an easy way out by not soaking it in it.... Because cuticle remover took less than 2 mins.... (Definitely questionable)..... Either way I'm satisfied with the result though, I'm not too picky. Just little confused with the method read more

Yesterday, while my mom had a dentist appointment next door I was browsing through yelp to see if there were any beauty parlor opened for waxing. Noticing that this store opened at 9am, why not? I walked over there and was informed everyone was on the way and it would take five minutes. I waited till 9.30 and left. Three women walked in and none of them attended to me. Seems like they were trying to get ready for the day. I did have eyelash extension experience here. It does burn your eyes. Not sure if that's a norm, due to it being my first time. The only thing that bothered me was that the fake eyelashes were tugging and pulling at my natural ones painfully every time I blinked. I ended up removing them within a week. read more

Ugh. you have no idea how much it pains me to give this place 2 stars. We own a business in the area and I've been wanting to try this place so bad and finally did. Last month my husband took my mother in law for a mani-pedi and I stopped in while they were getting their treatments. The guy (who was younger, asian- he seemed to own the place) and I had a great conversation- just about the business in the area while I looked over their menu. A classic mani-pedi is $27. I asked how much it would be for the gel and he said it's an extra $5 for gel manicures- and an extra 5 for callous removal. Great! 37 bucks is a really competitive price- it is just as much as the salon I'm used to going to charges. So I decide to go today. When I asked how much a gel manicure was, the older gentlemen said the manicure alone was 25 dollars. On top of that, the pedicure was 18. So all in all with callous removal I paid 48 bucks excluding tip. 56 bucks with tip. Here's the deal: I don't mind paying extra for fantastic service. My husband and I are in the service industry and know that great service goes a long way- but their service is extremely mediocre. They were quick- the polish on my ring finger is crooked- and as soon as she was done (even though they weren't too busy) she put on my flip flops, said thank you and stood there as if she was saying, "get out." Pros: Clean, brand new facility Con: Expensive for what you get, not very friendly- they even asked some people if they wanted water or coffee and didn't ask me if I wanted anything. So disappointing. Go to generation nails in Fullerton. They're a small, dinky little place- a little run down, but they give you amazing service. They remember you- and they do a fantastic job- 40 bucks out the door including tip. I think I paid 32 bucks for my last mani pedi! read more

I'm giving three stars because I like the work Emily did on my nails. They were done awesome. However this was my first time here......I had gotten my eyebrows waxed and wanted a full set. Well first was the eyebrows and they came out okay. I've had better elsewhere. And then some lady who walked in after me had herself and three kids with her who wanted their toe nails and nails painted. And idk if maybe this was coincidence or not......and maybe I'm dumb for being shocked that this happened....but that lady and her kids were asian and they all didn't have an appointment. And they stopped working on me....had me wait for 35 minutes....while two ladies did her kids toes and hers. I should have walked out. But did not want to search for another place. Kinda disappointed. But my nails did come out very nice, or at least I liked them. But the customer service sucks. read more

Don't go here! I went in for a simple fix of one cracked nail. I have a manicure done on my real nails and they could see it's my nails and tried to treat it as an acrylic nail. The lady filed my nail to the point it started hurting and I told her, "this is my real nail... why are filling like that now it's messed up" she tried to say "no no your fine I'll fix it" and then tried to grab my hand again and said "this is your real nails". Like seriously after I just told her...Worst experience of my life for a simple crack nail fix. Now I have to cut all my nails and let them fully regrow back because of that one nail that's now damaged and thin! read more

I went over the holiday season and they were so busy but never once turned people away. Therefore they became unorganized and inefficient. Forgetting about my daughter and using one tech per client. We were there for 3 hours! Today I noticed I'm due for a fill but there's a black spot under my nail. I wasn't sure if somehow I got something on the nail itself or if it was underneath on my natural nail. Overall, this place was a great one. mary was my nail person and she told me a rounded shape was going to cost an extra 5, and she asked if I wanted glitter on my ring finger, and she said that he another 5, and at one point when she suggested something else, I lightheartedly commented, "will that be another 5? Mary was really sweet, but very straightforward kind of a personality. I was amazed at how well and gracefully she filed and worked my nails. Her accent caught me off, And hers was okay enough for me to understand but I couldn't understand what most of her coworkers were saying. This was my first nail experience anywhere and I have to say I'm pleased. Acrylics + Gel was $45 and a few dollars more, I just can't remember.. I would appreciate any suggestions on places less pricey. One thing I would prefer next time was that the work be more meticulous.
