I take my reviews seriously and it comes with great disappointment to leave this one. After coming to this nail salon for about a year and a half, I never expected to have any issues. Each person I've worked with has been professional and happy to help with my gel manicures or pedicures. Since I work with a different person each time I come in, it was no surprise to have been paired with (name unknown-typically wears red framed glasses). She was very nice, talkative and enthusiastic about having me as a new customer. I had never worked with her before but ultimately I was satisfied with the result of her skills. Typically, the gel manicures and pedicures will last me a week and half up to two. Yet, after working with red framed glasses, my nails barely lasted one week. So I decided to go back into the nail salon and either get a refund or my nails redone. The cheery receptionist greeted me and I told her my issue. She then asked me to point red framed glasses out. Bad move. Next, she tells her manager about my issue and the manager agrees to speak with me about it. Long story short, the manager said she can't offer a refund without approval from the owner. She suggested I wait for her to finish with her customer and then she could redo my nails. In the midst of my waiting for the manager to finish, red framed glasses comes over and asks to see my nails. She asks if I did this to my nails and I said no they started breaking off on their own. Then red framed glasses decides to raise her voice at me and tell me I'm the one who caused the breaking. I tell her no I am not. Red framed glasses continues to get in my face and scream at me. At this point, I'm extremely embarrassed and annoyed that she's insulting me in front of the entire salon. I had to ask the manager to speak with me again so that red framed glasses would stop and leave me alone. Reluctantly, the manager came over and I asked for a refund instead. The manager said she would have to give me her own money to give a refund. Finally, the manager suggested I come in the next day. I tell her I can't it's the holiday season and my trip tonight was the only time I could get this done. So I tell her to call me and arrange for my refund. As a repeat customer, I expected a little more effort to make me happy to come back. Instead, I was left annoyed and insulted. There was poor attention given and the manager did not handle this properly. She should have just given a refund; regardless of red framed glasses agreeing with me. I'm the customer and my needs should be priority. This is horrible customer service. I will never go back there again. read more

Today I had a mani/pedi (I don't usually treat myself to both) and while Tina worked on my pedi, Wendy gave me a manicure with a buff finish. The manicure looks so perfect that others will probably think I have acrylic nails! The pedicure was very relaxing with the perfect spa water temperature and gentle techniques by Tina. Trust me when I say gentle, I have been to some salons where the pedicure felt like a new form of torture. I also discovered today that both Wendy and Tina provide eyebrow tweezing! I can't remember the last time a salon offered this service and I couldn't be happier with the results. Avoid this place! I walked in last resort, because all of my other nail places were booked and the place was so empty... that should have been my first clue. I got a gel manicure, which I thought went pretty well while it was happening. Another girl came in to get her nails redone the she said several times to her nail tech that she was getting her skin with the electric filer. It was pretty obvious that she wasn't paying as much attention as she should. The real annoying part is when I went to go check out. The total was $26 for a gel manicure. I noticed a sign saying that an additional charge would be added when you use a debit/credit card if the charge is under $10 or $15 (don't remember the exact number). Obviously I was over at $26 yet my card was charged $26.35. I'm not sure where the .35 cents came from. I can get over it though, it's .35 cents. But as I was filling out the tip portion of the receipt, the nail tech tried to tell me that I can't tip on a debit card. I asked why, and she couldn't tell me. All they could say is that only tip works on a credit card. The whole thing seemed super shady to me. I didn't have a credit card on me, so I just said I was sorry and filled out the tip portion of the receipt anyway and signed. I checked my bank account and the tip was accepted. I'm not sure what the deal is, but it seemed pretty shady. As for the quality of my manicure... it started chipping the next day. Within three days, half my nails had peeled. It's really not worth it to go here! Update: I do not take the time to review a place I have not been to. However, I did mistakenly report the amount of my charge. My charge was for $26.45, not $26.35. And here is a picture of my nails less than two weeks out to which they claim no chipping within 3 weeks. read more

This woman is the worst nail technician I've ever been to, she cut every finger with the drill instead of taking off my cuticles with a cuticle remover tool. The pain was so bad I almost walked out, on top of that she left a gap between the acrylic and my nail, I kept telling her and she kept saying no nothing wrong, I had to tell her three times for her to actually see it. For $27 for a manicure and a pedicure I thought it was a great price until the end. I had the worst manicure ever and my husband even commented how it looked like a little child painted my nails. As soon as I got home, I ended up wiping off the polish and when I finished removing the polish, I was horrified how terrible manicure and trimming job she did. The pedicure was okay. It wasn't anything special either. I was excited about this new salon being opened but after my first experience, I can say I will not be returning. She cuts and cleans up my toenails so well that I don't even want to put polish on them they look so perfect! What I love most about Lin, despite her thick ascent, she makes a real effort to converse with you and not with her co-workers or the other person on the phone. She's very respectful and SUPER SWEET! The lady that attended me was very much ignoring me throughout the whole pedicure process. I told her I wanted a glitter polish and she said it was and when I asked her to see it it had no glitter and she continued to apply it to my toes when I kept asking her where is the glitter she would ignore and ignore me. No communication between worker and client. She also left my toes blotchy she aren't fully painted some areas look more bold then others. I found the ignoring pretty rude because if I am paying I want what I ask for. Got mail nails done yesterday. It took 2 hours and looks horrible. Jacqueline was the person who was helping me. She would not listen to me at all. She was rough and cut me. I told her I didn't like the color, she painted it anyways and said it looked nice. Jacklyn straight hustled me not once but twice. For starters I asked how much the ombre full set would be. Posted price is "40 and up". She commented I will do it for 38. I told her that I will have to come back to get it done because it was my sons birthday and I needed to be out no later then 12:30. My appointment for my toes was at 11:45. As 11:50 approaches she tells me no problem I will be done by 12:30. I say ok! She proceeds to put the tips on ALL 10 of my fingers and tells me " The ombre nails are 50 dollars... are you ok with that?" TBH I would have paid 50.. However I am livid that she said 38.. Has a second amount of 40 and up posted.... Then throws out 50 dollars without asking how long I wanted them. My response was "No I will take the regular acrylics. It would have been nice if you would not had mislead me then put tips on with super glue." She finished my nails at 12:45. my toes at 12:53. I messed up my toenail polish because I had no time to let it dry because I was already late to my sons birthday lunch at 1:30....I was VERY specific I could not leave later then 12:30..... I have been getting my nails done for 20 years and have ALWAYS left a tip.... I tipped neither one of them.. Now on to the pedicure.... Wendy did my toes and I would LOVE to see proof she has a license... She nipped me twice with the cuticle cutters and drew a little blood. She took a hour to do a basic pedicure.... I went here on my lunch break today. It took about 45 mins for a hard gel fill, and glitter ombré. I made an appointment prior to coming and was seated immediately. The manicure was nice and quick. I would definitely go back. I have very thin nails that break, and having hard or builder gel is the only way I can keep my length. I came here about a week ago for a pedicure, and it was fine. No complaints. I think I might've found my new nail salon. We'll see how the next visits are! read more

I stopped coming here several years ago because of a bad experience, but I came back about a year or so ago to give it another chance. In the past year, I have come in from time to time, and things were okay...until today. Now I remember why I stopped coming here. I wanted ombré nails and a gel pedicure. It wasn't busy, so I was able to sit at a pedicure chair right away. I picked a color and the lady got started on my pedicure. She was doing a good job, but nicked me with the nail file and I started bleeding a little bit. I wasn't going to say anything or be too upset about it because I understand that those things happen. The experience I had with my nails was what set me over the edge. I told Jacklyn I wanted shorter nails (coffin shape) which she acknowledged. She did say that shorter nails with coffin shape wouldn't be as pretty, which I get. But...I don't like long nails. I should get what I want. When I looked at the length after the acrylic powder was applied on my right hand, I mentioned that one nail in particular looked pretty long compared to the rest of the nails on that hand. I wanted to say something right then, before it got too late. She assured me she would file them and even them out once the powder dried. So I let it be. I noticed other nails not looking symmetrical compared to the others on that hand, but figured I'd wait until she finished the powder and the filing. Once she was done filing, I still wasn't happy. So I said something. The one fingernail I was referring to still stood out to me, like it didn't fit in with the length and look of the other nails on that hand. My thumb, index finger, and middle finger looked pretty good, but the pinky and ring finger especially looked like they needed to be filed down to match the other three. She compared each pinky to each pinky, each index finger to each index finger, and so on. But, I was telling her how my ring finger (and pinky) did not look the same as the rest of the other nails on THAT hand. She kept comparing the ring finger to the other ring finger, and the thumb to the other thumb, etc. She filed a little more, but never fixed the issue I was talking about. She then told me to wash my hands and see what I thought after that and that I would see that they are fine. I know there was another lady she was waiting to finish up with because she had bounced back and forth between the two of us. I washed my hands and said for the third time what I wanted fixed. By this point, her attitude had changed and she was visibly upset. I understand that mistakes happen, but getting upset with a paying customer when they make a request for how they want THEIR nails to look is not professional. She even asked me "are you happy with them yet?" in a tone that made me feel uncomfortable. I felt like she was drawing attention to me. To be honest, I wasn't happy with the way my nails looked, but even more importantly, I wasn't happy with the way I felt like I couldn't speak up about a service I was paying for. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there. I paid my bill and left. A professional business employee would've offered a discount, or at the very least a rescheduling for an unhappy customer. But instead, I was made to feel bad about speaking up for something I was paying for and something I have to look at on my own hands. I had to pay almost $90 for a job that I wasn't satisfied with at all. Once I got home, I had to try and even out my nails myself. I'm attaching pictures of my nails right after I left the salon, and after I evened them out myself. She scarred up the top of my nails with a regular nail filer, and tried to buff it all out with the sponge. I ended up with shinny scarred up, scratched up nails. No way to fix it. ***Update: Went back. The manager was very nice, and gave me the money back for the manicure, but the damage had been done. Nails still scarred.
