Basically you go to the entrance of the mini golf and just let the people working the checkin of golf that you're going to Ally's and then you sign your name on a list and enter (no charge). A few picnic tables and very clean restrooms near by. Bonus Tip** Farmers Market in the same parking lot on Saturday mornings Ally was rocking the food stand solo (which I think she does often). This is the best food we've had on the island. The meat (pork) was so flavorful and we bought some of their sauce, it was sooo good! The arepas are perfectly crispy. Tucked away in the Kilauea community center, this little food truck is a HIDDEN GEM. This was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I was blown away by the flavors! We tried a chicken arepa - served cold with avocado, the pulled pork arepa with feta, and a platter w/ sautéed shrimp. All were SO good. The pork arepa was filled with meat, topped with feta cheese. The shrimp platter was delicious as well, it had a really nice kick! Will come back here again and again and again! read more

Coming back from Secret Beach we stopped to check this place out. I've eaten quite a few arepas and these ones were awesome! We got ally's plate and the king Kong arepa and we loved both. Very flavorful and lots of food for your money, which is a nice change for Kauai. The owners were very nice and our food came out quickly. Was In the Kilauea area and was looking for a new place to try and saw this Argentinian place on Yelp. Just opened a few weeks back. A little hard to find. It's a food stand located in the mini-golf complex at Anaina Hou Community Park. They have tables and shade. My wife had the shrimp and avocado arepa and I had the pork Ally's plate that comes with black beans, mini arepas, fried plantains, rice, and an avocado salsa. Both were soooo good! The shrimp was large and succulent and the arepa was soft and flavorful. Could eat it all day! The pork in the plate was very tender and moist and all the side dishes were tasty, especially the salsa/avocado. Would definitely come back! Currently open only Thursday through Sunday when the mini golf course is open. read more

These were the best arepas I have had outside of Central America. They were freshly made and perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and creamy inside. We tried the pork and avocado. This stand is hidden behind the mini golf building, and it must be a well kept secret cuz there's almost no one here while serving bomb arepas. We ordered the King Kong pork arepa, which was borderline overwhelming for a single person and too big to eat with hands alone. Delicious griddled crispy exterior, soft pillowy interior, and buried in well-seasoned slow roasted pork shoulder, the meat to everything-else ratio was out of control. The medium spicy Ally's sauce is pretty mild, we would have preferred something with more heat. We wished it came with a second egg, more salsa, and more avocado, because then it could've sufficiently fed 2 people with a single arepa order for a few extra bucks. If she ever offers a plate option with a bunch of mini arepas then I'd order that instead. Overall, this one-woman show is worth supporting and I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. read more
