This was my first time receiving eyelash extensions. I got a Groupon as a gift from my sister. I called Ally to make an appointment and the same day I got a text message to set up an appointment. The only appointment she said was a month out (unless someone cancelled.) Ally took me right in when I got to the salon. She was very nice and professional and she made me feel very comfortable. I upgraded to the next set (I honestly forget what it's called), but it was 20$ extra. The whole process only took 35-40mins. I've read stories on how this process takes even longer? So I was skeptical about the results. The process was relaxing and I couldn't feel anything. Even when the whole process was done - my eyelashes didn't feel heavy. I couldn't even tell the difference (weight wise.) I was very pleased with the results. She gives you some tips on how to extend the life your your extensions and I received a little eyelash comb as well. She said to wait around 24hrs before wetting the lashes (from the initial set up.) When wearing my extensions, I did not wear any eye makeup. My lashes lasted longer than 3 weeks (without a refill appointment.) Of course during this time, a few here and there, would fall off. A couple negative aspect of this experience is that sometimes my REAL lashes would fall out with the extension. It was very few, so I didn't think twice about it. The extensions sometimes would get all tangled, but I used the comb I was given and it usually took care of that problem. Let me start off by saying, during my lash session Ally was very sweet, nice and accommodating. I was a bridesmaid for my gf's destination wedding and decided it would be a fabulous idea to get lash extensions. I found Ally's service through Groupon but had contacted Ally directly before purchasing the groupon to see if I could get an appt in. We were able to set up an appointment very quickly for the following Tuesday at 9a. I purchased it through Ally even though Groupon was currently having an extra 20 % off sale on beauty services, because Ally shared that she does not make much if I purchase it through Groupon. The evening before the appointment Ally texted to remind me to have my eyes make up free and cleaned.On the morning of the appointment, Ally texted me only one hour prior to cancel the appt because she woke up with the flu. I was flustered since I really wanted to have this done for the wedding, and I was flying out the following day. Ally said if I didn't mind she will keep the appointment and wear a face mask. I felt terrible but really wanted to get lash extensions as I've heard it will save you time getting ready. So she kept my appointment but asked to see me at 1230 so she can get some rest. I asked her if 12 worked since I had to move around my work meetings because I had planned to see her at 9a. She responds with I have a client before so it might be more or less 1215. I was confused because she obviously was going to cancel on me but not on her other client? Anyhow, I felt bad nonetheless that she would be working when she's so sick so when I came to see her I was very grateful and even brought her cough drops. Ally went through the different lash options and explained that the best package would be the one with the refill so the lashes can last longer. The groupon package with just the one time full set is $55, with the refill its $79 and to upgrade to fuller lashes it's an extra $20 dollars. I honestly only wanted the one time $55 dollar package but felt bad that she had to see me under the weather so I agreed to both upgrades. I'm basically the easiest person to sell to. If you ask me most often times I will say yes. Ally was very talkative throughout. I didn't mind it because it helped make the time pass by much faster. However, many of the things she mentioned made me question her sanity. 1. She is adamant that her dad isn't her real dad because she thinks she looks white. (She doesn't. She looks more Asian or Vietnamese than I even do.) 2. She complained about her one customer who is super cheap and only gives her a dollar tip. (Granted. That is super cheap and that woman needs to start tipping better.) 3. She made racist remarks about Persian women --ranting on about how difficult and high maintenance that entire race is and could not stop venting about this one woman in particular. 4. She then ends with her true calling is to be a therapist because she has stellar communication skills. I prayed to myself while lying on her table that I must love my lashes because I was afraid I'd be the next client she talks about to her next client. Unfortunately, when Ally handed me the mirror I didn't like it. Inside I was panicking and I knew Ally could tell because I said "I'm probably just not used to it but it actually makes my eyes look smaller." The lashes were stiff and kept poking my eyes and when they started to fall off my real lashes went with them. And most had two lash extensions on one lash! :( Even so, I was still grateful Ally had seen me so I thanked her and we scheduled for the refill 3 weeks out. After returning from my trip, I let Ally know that they were falling off rather quickly so we shouldn't wait til the March 4th refill date. I told her not to fret because I actually like how natural the lashes looked once some started to fall off. So we moved up the refill appointment for the upcoming week but the lashes gave out before that time. I texted Ally to let her know there wouldn't be enough for it to still be considered a fill. I asked if I could apply the fill to her lash growing product that she had mentioned during our initial appointment instead. She agreed to give me a 20 dollar credit towards the product but worded it as though she was going so much out of her way to make this exception which offended me. I wasn't asking for the world! I reminded her that I could have easily bought her deal through Groupon and would have received a 20% discount on top of the Groupon deal but instead of saving myself money I wanted to support a small business owner. I wasn't trying to be difficult. I just didn't want the fill to go to waste. I guess Ally took a huge offense to this and rather than applying the credit she has deemed us to be not a good fit and refused to allow me to purchase her product. In short, Ally is unprofessional, uses really cheap, stiff lashes and will leave your eyes bare. read more

I'd like to start out by saying I am NOT a new person to getting eyelash extensions. I have to admit at first it was a little overwhelming talking to her, because she gave me so many different options of specials, deals and pricing I explained that I paid for lash extensions and I wanted the deal I purchased and explained what style of eyelashes I wanted. Emphasizing the full lashes. She requested more money for thicker lashes. Stating the Groupon is only for natural lashes. I hate when I buy a Groupon and then the company upsells or they complain to customers about not making money from a Groupon. She did both! So irritating. I will say this she was nice, but maybe a little to nice she kept talking while doing my lashes. Usually I fall asleep, but not this time! As I laid there in her cold little office, listening to her talk about herself and bla bla bla how she is so great I'm laying there thinking hurry up lady. Let me out off here! how unprofessional.. I hope she reads this and learms not to do this with her clients. .. talk to your friends about Groupon or take you offer down. just an odd experience, and to make matters worse my eyelashes look very natural, which would be nice if that's what I requested *sigh* SHE DOESN'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS! I've been contemplating on eyelash extensions for awhile now but didn't want to pay and arm and a leg for it so I bought the Groupon online and gave it a shot. So I paid $111 for a dramatic full set and refill, which is such a great deal than her regular $125 full set & $60 refill! The process itself took about an hour and was absolutely painless. It was honestly so relaxing that I felt that I could just fall asleep. Ally was very informative and explained to me why everyone has different results. I am Asian with sparse eyelashes so I wasn't going to expect the same results as someone who has a lot more lashes than I do. Overall, I was very impressed with the results and will continue to take biotin to help my lashes grow stronger and longer. Found a deal on groupon and decided to try Ally. She offers such a good deal even without the groupon and I love the quality of her work. Her hands are light and steady, the glue doesn't burn and after she was done, none of the lashes were stuck together! The only downside is that it took a month to get the earliest appointment with her (but this is because of the outrageously awesome deal she offered on groupon), otherwise I would have given 5 stars! I believe I spent 55$ on the groupon and used the contact information there to contact her for an appointment. This business is hers alone so she is usually booked. I waited patiently two months for my appointment because it was the soonest thing available. She does use her number as a text form, so if your not one comfortable to call, a text would work great. I went for the natural looking lash extensions. This was not my first time but since I had to wait so long I had to start all over again.
