I was at the store a few days ago with my wife to shop. I was just walking around and browsing while my wife was doing the actual and real shopping. Before I knew it I was surrounded by obnoxious, rude and super entitled individuals, people who reminded me why Beverly Hills customers - generally speaking - are some of the worse customers on the planet. I am a firm believer that the customer is not always right and it is up to the store to ensure that both, customers and employees are both behaving properly and in a humane way. But this is when it gets nice. Since this was for a very special occasion, I was excited and made the trip out to Beverly Hills specifically for it. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing almost immediately. When we asked an employee for help locating the dress, the interaction felt very unfriendly and dismissive. I completely understand retail can be busy and stressful, but the tone and body language made it feel like asking for assistance was an inconvenience. It made the shopping experience uncomfortable instead of welcoming. Things became even more uncomfortable when I was in the fitting room trying on a dress and another employee entered without knocking while I was changing. There was no warning or pause before entering, and it caught me completely off guard. Privacy in fitting rooms should really be handled more carefully. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave. The only employee who made the experience better was Tiffany, who was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She was the one bright spot during the visit and I appreciated her professionalism. To make matters worse, I was then told to go to the Melrose location because they supposedly had the dress in stock there. After spending another 30 minutes driving over, I found out the dress was not actually available. The inaccurate inventory information made an already frustrating experience even more disappointing. I am intentionally avoiding personal or physical descriptions in this review, but I believe management should be able to determine which employees were involved based on the timing of my visit and the interactions that occurred in the fitting room and sales floor areas. I asked her to call the manager, she instead called another clerk (a more seasoned one) who instead of offering assistance and and an apology, nervously wrote down generic information and fumbled a few words. When the manager finally came up, he looked annoyed that he had to deal either the subject and let the other clerk finish writing the info. He did not even attempt to say hello. All in all, disastrous costumer service. These people are the reason why stores close down and online shopping takes over. No disappointing, and rude interactions with dense humans.
