My husband and I ordered red and green curries (dishes we'd usually order from Thai restaurants). I wanted the mango sticky rice, but they were out. The curries arrived quickly- probably around 10 minutes- with sides of rice. The curries were flavorful, and they used thai eggplants. Like other customers say, the portions were large, and we took leftovers with us (which tasted just as good the next day), but we needed to order more rice, and they charged $4 per extra rice- so it was $8 for us to have extra rice (which I understand is now the norm to charge for extra rice, but sigh). If we lived in the area, we would order takeout from here, rather than eat in. There are no bathrooms within the restaurant itself, but there's an exterior hallway with public restrooms.

Parking is free, there's a parking lot in the front, and also free parking is available on the street. I don't drive, and if you don't either, fear not! The PVTA G1 bus will take you right up there. Get off at Sumner and White St, and it's a short walk to Soc Trang from there. And to get back to Union Station, cross White St, to the PVTA kiosk, and take the G1 back to Union Station. This restaurant serves food all day, there's no closure of the kitchen between lunch and dinner, so if you're hungry at 3:30 in the afternoon like I was, you won't have to worry about seeing a "Closed until 5" sign. The restaurant itself is clean, and well organised. It's family friendly, and from what I saw, there's room for parties, family gatherings, or small receptions.
