Good buffet breakfast, staff could be a lot nicer, but decent value. Easy to park and close to the freeway.

    Pretty and decent breakfast options

First time there with my gf. Comfy bed and chill service, the room service was pizza guys

Clean bathroom liked the lighted mirror.

Clean room the beds were very comfortable and pillows nice and fluffy. Bathroom clean has all the basic needs I just wish they was a liquid hand soap. There's only bar soap. The shower tub was low which was good for my mother, easy to get in and out. Check in was fast and easy. I did a pre check-in process before arrival.

The La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dublin - Pleasanton was a decent stay. The room and property were clean and the staff was really friendly. The rooms are quiet and you can barely hear any traffic in the hallway or out on the street. The only thing wrong was the refrigerator was not working, so I couldn't store any leftovers or drinks. I could have made a request, but wasn't worried about it. The hotel is located right next to IHOP and there are numerous other dining options within a short drive, since the hotel is off of a main highway. The free breakfast included: waffle bar, parfait maker, "sausage", "eggs", bacon, breakfast potatoes, biscuits, jelly/butter/honey, fruit, granola bars, and coffee, watered down juices, and ice water. The only things that were really edible were the potatoes, bacon, and biscuit. I'm not sure what that sausage patty is made of, but it made me almost gag. I do appreciate breakfast being included, so that was a great way to wake up. Next time I'll eat out though. I'd stay here again, but I like to hotel hop and experience other places, when I stop in the same area.

    Janky door.

I flew into town for a convention in Oakland, but when the convention was over, I drove out to Dublin to visit my family and stayed here for two nights. I checked in without issue. The staff were all very nice. Apparently I was VIP status so I got a bag full of treats and water and she said she was putting me in a quiet location of the hotel, which I really appreciated. I went to my room and although I agree, it was a very quiet room and it was a large and spacious, It was very very dirty. The walls, the shower, the carpet, the drapes, the furniture. All really gross. I just came from a Marriot in Oakland that was spotless compared to this room. Definitely felt the yuck but the bed was decent enough. Not the headboard which oof but the mattress. If I make this trip again, I won't stay here.

SERVICE & CHECKIN Early checkin available at no extra cost. Checkin speed wasn't fast and the customer service didn't make much of an impression. Phone service could be more timely & it takes a long time to service requests (towels). Uncovered parking is available onsite. LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS The lobby is designed around an extravagant winding stairway. This is great eye-candy & a pleasant change of pace from riding an elevator, but the carpeted steps need more attention (crumbs, dirt, etc). ROOM https://youtube.com/shorts/JFWwdUIJSbg?feature=shared I never really settled into the room; there was a bit of an odor when we entered the room, lighting was dim & depressing inside while absurdly bright flood lights are installed against the bedside windows outside. The room was still functional: spacious for 2, plenty of seating, dedicated ergonomic workspace, ample storage space, working windows, etc. But cleaning standards (cobwebs, stains) & the drab atmosphere just didn't live up to the 3rd party reviews & pictures. AC ( dated terminal installation) is noisy. BED We slept in a double queen configuration. The mattresses had great firmness & the bedding was decent. The pillows weren't at all supportive & lack density/body. The flood lights made sleep difficult if you're light sensitive & the curtain setup isn't a robust blackout design. BATH Medium sized bathroom with combination shower-tub & Dove shower products + toiletries. It was clean enough & the water pressure was adequate. The exhaust is very loud. WI-FI, CELL SERVICE, TV, & ENTERTAINMENT Severely unmotivated to review or utilize any of these amenities due to the quality of the room. FOOD & DRINK DoorDash friendly. Microwave, medium mini fridge, & mini coffee bar available in-room. There's also complimentary popcorn! NOISE The parking lot commotion can become an irritant but everywhere else on the property was peaceful. VERDICT Not what I envisioned for my first la Quinta, or maybe that's the status quo & I just wasn't aware. Either way, it wasn't comfortable & I don't see myself returning despite the enticing living-room tubs pictured online. 2/5

We have stayed in half a dozen La Quinta locations, and I must say that this one is the best so far. It is a 3-star hotel, no special frills, and quite standard for the business traveler. The room was the typical layout and amenities for a 3-star hotel. What made this hotel better than the other La Quintas? 1. The people. From check-in, to breakfast, to housekeeping, to check-out, we got smiles from everyone. It made me feel good to be there. 2. Queen size beds. The other La Quintas all had double beds, which are a little uncomfortable for taller folks. It was an extremely pleasant surprise to get queen size beds. Loved it! 3. The food. We know what to expect for breakfast at La Quinta. The included breakfast is one reason we choose La Quinta. But this breakfast bar was a little upgraded, not much, but noticeable. There was the standard LQ waffle, but they also had a pancake making machine. The pancake maker didn't work well, but it was a bonus item anyway. Then there was yogurt, but also Greek yogurt. And the sausage was a better quality than you usually get in free breakfasts. If you would rate an LQ breakfast a 5, then this one is a 6. And if you're not happy with that, there's an IHOP next door, which is open 24 hrs on weekends. We are already planning our next stay in this hotel.

I thought the exterior of the hotel was nice. The location was also a good location. The price wasn't bad. A friend also recommended this hotel as they have a large jetted tub which I wanted to experience. I booked through a third party website so the description of the room just showed as suite so I thought this was the correct room. Unfortunately it wasn't. I was a little disappointed but it was my fault so I will accept that. Since I paid a little more for this room, my expectations were higher. The item that really made me write this review was I returned to the room after a business event and it was late so I wanted to take a shower however, there was an extremely loud horn type noise coming from the shower. I walked to the front desk and could hear this noise for two rooms through the walls (Yikes!). I was told there wasn't any maintenance available to look at it. I then thought they would suggest another room, they didn't. I returned to the room and my partner attempted to work on the shower head as the sound was unbearable. For the price I paid for the room, I should have reserved a room at one of my preferred nearby hotels. Pros Large room Nice variety for breakfast Good location

I say that so it helps the reader understand my perspective here in that, I'd stay with this chain again. All things being equal, I put it on par with a Hilton Garden Inn. The interior is nice and modern. For the most part, the hotel was pretty clean too. The staff was friendly. One thing I noticed is that there usually wasn't anyone at the front desk when I came down in the morning. In fact, when my room didn't get serviced the first night, I stopped at the desk to ask if I needed to request it. I stood there for about 5-7 minutes before I left because no one came out to help. That and the fact they don't put microwaves in the rooms were the only inconveniences I experienced. The rooms are quite small, but not too bad. I don't know how I feel about everything being in the same room, but at least there is a pocket door for the bathroom...but that is required by code. Lastly, if you are going to stay at this property, you need to be forewarned about the elevators. They are super slow. On at least 3 occasions during my week-long stay I had to wait 10 or more minutes for an elevator. Considering there are only four floors, I would have expected them to be faster. All in all, it was a good stay and I'd consider staying again. If you're in the Livermore area, and looking for a hotel, you should consider this one.

But, the host of the hotel was rude!!! We had paid for extra dogs and extended our stay. This is so very unprofessional, unexpected, unreasonable. I would not recommend this hotel!!! It shouldn't be part of the Marriott brand, this hotel ruins the name!!! I would never stay with this hotel ever again nor would I ever recommend this place, it's a shit hole! Wish that I could give it a negative star or zero star!!!

Not only that, I arrived 12 minutes after it was booked, and checking in was a breeze. Snacks and drinks were also available for sale in the lobby, as well as a restaurant on site, and there was plenty of free parking in the hotel lot. The room was more than sufficient for a one-night stay. Clean and spacious, comfy bed, temperature control, microwave, mini fridge, lots of hangers, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, plenty of lights and outlets, large flat screen TV, soft towels and rags (though nowhere to hang these in the bathroom), and Dove brand lotion, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The room even had a little outdoor balcony, a small space, but that's more than most hotels offer. Needless to say, I was happy with my experience here.

Luckily there was a staff still at the front desk and quickly checked us in. The carpets and overall infrastructure are definitely a bit dated. The elevator was also a bit scary as it shook going up and down floors. Only one of the elevators were working too. The fitness center only has one elliptical that was shaking quite a bit, one treadmill, and one seated bike. They have a full set of dumbbells and one bench, along with a few mats. It definitely needed some cleaning as we found spider carcasses. - EXPERIENCE - Our room was again, no-frills, but got the job done of letting us have a place to sleep and stay. It did smell a bit dusty/old, but overall seemed fairly clean. The bathroom had a nice big mirror and updated lights, but the toiletries were broken on one of the pumps. - OVERALL - For what you pay, this hotel will get the job done. However if I knew I was staying longer than 1.5 days, or knew I'd be idling in the hotel for a longer period of time, I would pick a different location.

ROOMS We were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite which was plenty of space for just the two of us. Ours was located on the second floor and I didn't look too hard but there weren't elevators around-- just a heads up for those who might need one. The two rooms and two bathrooms were spacious. The living room had a pull out couch. There was a booth dining table that seats 4 and the desk worked perfectly for my husband who needed to work. Each room also had their own desks. The kitchen was equipped with a stove, microwave, and fridge-- ample for anyone who has to stay for a longer period of time. I always appreciate when hotel rooms have a full body mirror, so thank you for having one. AMENITIES We didn't get to enjoy the pool but we were impressed with the gym! It had 3 treadmills, 1 Peloton, 2 ellipticals, and 1 low bike. They also had medicine balls and dumbbells, but no bench or barbells. The bed was comfortable (but lacked in pillows in my opinion). The sofa easily converts into a bed which is nice for having guests over. The kitchen is fully loaded with all the necessary dishes and utensils. The bathroom is a little small but the vanity is huge. The closet is also very spacious. There are large TVs in both the living and bedrooms which is a nice touch. The amenities are great too. There is a basketball/pickleball court, pool, grill, and hot tub outside. It feels very communal. People are always lounging out at the tables and around the pool. There are also fire pits to relax at. There is a nice gym, market, and small lobby bar. There is also complementary breakfast every morning (which is actually very good). They offer omelets made fresh to order with other items that rotate daily. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! One thing I did notice is that after a while, even with the constant room service and a clean room, the room develops a little bit of a stale smell. Unfortunately, the windows don't open, but if you leave the door open, it will air out. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A particular chill in the air. A look that communicates: you may exist, but you need not exist here. I had always assumed this gift belonged exclusively to the Parisian waiter -- perfected over centuries, practically a protected cultural institution. And then I met the bartender at AC Hotel Pleasanton. What she accomplished through a single look, a studied posture, and whatever words she deployed in lieu of a greeting was, objectively, extraordinary. I -- MaisOui Le Frenchy, a man who has approached bars on three continents without once questioning his right to be there -- found myself thinking: what did I do wrong? This is not a sensation I know well. It is also not a sensation any guest should ever know. I did not order a drink. The communication had already been made perfectly clear. The room, for its part, arrived with its own atmosphere: a large, mysterious smear on the exterior of the bathroom door, trailing downward in long dramatic streaks, as though whatever was responsible had made a desperate and unsuccessful bid for freedom. I did not touch it. I did not investigate. One night does not require a formal inquiry. Which is what makes all of this so particularly frustrating. Because the hotel itself is genuinely good. The room is well-appointed, spacious enough to breathe, and the design has been executed with care. The lamps by the pool, in particular, are a small but considered touch -- the kind of detail that signals someone, somewhere, actually thought about the experience. For the business traveler who has suffered through the beige indignities of lesser roadside accommodations -- and I have, more than I care to recount -- this is a meaningful step up. It is worth noting -- and fairness demands that I note it -- that the manager, upon being made aware of the evening's highlights, was gracious, competent, and genuinely concerned. She is, without question, working above her surroundings. The bones are good. The execution, on two particular fronts, was not. Three stars reflects precisely that arithmetic: a four-star property undone by a bartender who should not be facing guests, and a bathroom door that should have been faced by housekeeping. Fix those two things, and this review writes itself differently.

I want to give an honest review and let others know how it really is to stay here. This location operates and presents like family run hotel, not a Hyatt Brand. Everything is cheap or low budget, except for the pool. We needed to take a quick trip to the Bay Area to see a theatre show in Martinez. I checked reviews and rates and this location came up as an option. Price, location to the theatre venue, Yelp Ratings, Yelp Reviews, and the pool is what helped me decide on this place. We called ahead as we were arriving later than planned 12a, because of travel challenges. The person on the phone was assured us that someone would be there. They gave us instructions for very late check in. We arrived and the person at the front desk granted us access inside. He was able to assign us a room and offer additional bedding if the room did not have it for the sofa sleeper. We did end up needing the additional bedding, so we made yet another trip downstairs to get it. We had problems. It was 12:30a and the room keys did not work. We went down to the front desk 3-4 times to try to get it mitigated. The front desk person was only able to get one of the room keys to work so we had to use that one key to get our luggage up, park the car, and navigate at 1:30a to get situated in the room. The next day the hotel staff was able to get us 2 of 3 room keys working, very inconvenient. The room was OK. It was setup ok, but the carpet, TVs, and appliances are dated. The sofa sectional is modern but cheap. The TV remotes never properly worked fully. There is a king bedroom, with french doors to separate the living room sectional seating area; which also includes the kitchenette. Overall, the carpet was aesthetically disappointing. The TVs are also dated. The bathroom is a standup shower no tub, and a toilet, with the vanity as a walkthrough next to the king bed. The bathroom vanity is very dated but clean. There are not enough towel racks or hooks for 3 people to stay here. We were doomed next to the stairwell of the hotel. All hours of the night loud banging noises of people and children walking and screaming and jumping up and down the staircase behind our King bedroom. Pros: Pool is very nice, In and Out across the street, free breakfast daily 6a-9a, kitchenette is decent, lighting is decent in rooms Cons: Dated, needs refresh, hallway carpets are bland and unappealing, breakfast is cheap and not tasty, lots of spider webs in the window corners in room, room key system doesn't work well.
