We needed a last minute cleaning service to help with cleaning a property we were renting. A problem arose, and we needed to give the property back, sooner than expected. After searching tirelessly, we finally came across JF's Cleaning Service, and they were the only cleaners able to come help on short notice. I was concerned that the last minute request would result in an inflated cleaning rate and possibly poor quality, but the price was more than reasonable and my expectations were about to be far surpassed. I contacted JFS Cleaning Service right before Christmas based on the reviews I saw here on Yelp. Josh and Shea were able to fit me in at the last minute and they were fantastic! They arrived early, stayed late and were absolutely amazing. My house was CLEAN when they were done. My hardwood floors absolutely gleamed which I didn't think was possible after having had 3 very large dogs. Everything was dusted, the kitchen sparkled, the bathrooms were spotless, even my curio cabinet with all it's glass was perfectly clean. The smell and the shine was incredible! Aloha did a first clean on our house last week. It was a mess after 4 people and 3 dogs in quarantine for over 3 months. Now that we are back to work/school/sports we desperately needed help. I had a last minute schedule change and I was impressed that they were able to adjust and make it work. When we came home after the cleaning the house was spotless. We have now scheduled the service every two weeks. Having a service clean your home is a luxury and I've had to adjust other things I was spending $ on but on my limited time home i want spend it with my family and not cleaning so it is well worth it. read more

I will only give a 2 star because it seems like everyone else has had a good experience with this company. I reached out Friday evening for a cleaning I needed Monday. I got a call back Saturday saying that they could do it Monday and that I would receive a quote. When I did not see an email by Monday morning I then called at 9:30AM and left a message, I called again at 10:30AM left a message. I received proof of email however it seems like their email server is being marked as spam. It was actually blocked by microsoftmail (live.com). The only issue I have is with the no call back. I did end up going with another service. I had explained how I left 2 voicemails that morning and why it took until 6-7PM (10 hours later) to receive a call back when we just got off the phone 2 days prior about me needed service on that day because it is the day I took off work to finish moving. PS. I am in Rocklin, CA in their service area. Not San Francisco. read more

I recently moved out of my condo and used JF's cleaning for the final cleaning to try and get as much of my deposit back as possible. They are extremely professional and friendly and make sure they do the best job imaginable. JF's cleaning made sure everything was spotless. Unfortunately, I can only review on the lack of service I've received. I imagine, based on previous reviews, that when provided the service is great and worthy of 5 stars...but I'll never know. I chose this company based on great reviews and called for my first time on December 30th or 31st. I did not get a response for about a week. I expected it may be a while due to the new year and then the weekend, but I figured they'd be back to work on Monday...yet it wasn't until Thursday that I finally heard back. Nevertheless, when I did hear back Shea was very professional and explained their process and said he would email a proposal and I could respond to that to schedule the appointment. Well...a week passed and no email. So, I called again and left another message. Can you guess how long it took to hear back from them? Yup...another week! Finally, this time they sent the proposal and told me the two dates they had available before the end of the month. I am having an event on the 30th and needed the cleaning done by then. Anyway, I booked an appointment for this morning, the 28th, at 8am. Shea called last night to confirm the appointment and everything was set to go. I've spent the last several evenings trying to go around the house and pick up stuff/throw away stuff/organize stuff and basically just have the house ready for a deep cleaning. I was up until 1am last night doing this. Then, I wake up to my 7am alarm so I could try to wash dishes before the cleaners got here (that way the sink would be free of dishes and available to be cleaned)...but instead I see a text from Shea saying they woke up sick and need to reschedule to next week. If really sick, I am sorry and I really do hope you feel better. But this excuse, tied with their time to respond to messages, along with them not following through with a proposal the first time is my reason for a bad review. My guess...this company already has enough regular customers and doesn't really care too much about gaining new customers. I just wish they would have saved my time and told me this from the beginning. In the end, I called Rubio's, who also has great 5 star reviews, at 7:30am this morning and they actually answered their phone (woohoo...already one notch above JFS just for that), and they were super friendly and able to fit me into their schedule for today! read more

When I first emailed JF's to set up a consult they were at my doorstep two days later, and were able to promptly e-mail me a reasonable quote for an initial deep cleaning and then bi-weekly visits. We were shocked at how wonderful our house looked after the deep cleaning, and very much enjoy coming home to a clean house every other week.
